The Storm That Turned the Tide
Synopsis:
A rural country tale, about a family who loses everything in the eye of a tornado, including their home, their possessions, and all the materialistic elements of life that go with it. The McAllister’s are left with nothing, and in the aftermath the family is left facing the monumental task of rebuilding their lives. Lucky for them, a family of old friends step in and stay with them every step of the way. It’s a story of compassion, of humility and more – as the family of four piece their lives back together.
Along the way, both families have teen boys who, quite literally, find themselves on the opposite sides of the track in the way they think and live. It takes a little effort, but each find they do, indeed, have a lot more common ground than they initially imagined. Throw into the mix one smaller brother, and you have the makings of a story that unveils how one teaches the other about the things they never knew or understood before, including family and trust, and the true definition of what friendship is.
