I slammed the paper down and walked over to the phone. “WELL I DO,” I screamed as I hit Jeff’s speed dial number. “Jeff Morris please, Mike Hollander calling and this is urgent.”

I was put on hold and was doing a slow boil. “Hi Mike, what’s?”

I didn’t even let him finish. “Jeff, we got a major problem here.”

Chapter 6

“Calm down Mike,” Jeff shouted back at me as I took a deep breath. “Now, what’s going on?”

I took another deep breath so I could tell Jeff what I’d read without going ballistic in the process. “Well, according to Caleb’s old school principle he’s dead.”

Now I pulled the phone away from my ear quickly after telling Jeff. “HE’S WHAT?”

Now he knew why I was so upset. “I didn’t stutter Jeff. According to his school, he’s dead.”

I could hear him cussing up a blue streak on the other end of the phone. “Is Robert still there?”

“Yeah, he’s still here,” I said looking at him. “Would you like to speak with him?”

He’d calmed down, well a little. “Yes I would.”

I handed him the phone. “Jeff would like to have a word with you.”

Now Robert was cautious when he put the phone up to his ear. “Yes Jeff, this is Robert.”

“HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?” I heard him shout into the phone.

Poor Robert was holding the phone at arms length and shaking his head. “Jeff, what was I supposed to believe?”

It was at this point I decided to put the call on the speaker. “Did you have them send you the records?”

I saw a look come on Robert’s face that gave me the answer. “Well no, not considering what the letter had said.”

“Robert, I don’t ever believe someone is dead even when I’m holding a death certificate. I want you to get those school records.”

He was shaking his head. “Jeff, I have no reason to. My boss is up in arms over this. He’s looking to have this boy removed.”

Now my ass just sucked wind when I heard that. Then a voice said, “Who wants me removed?”

Caleb was standing there with a towel around his swimming trunks. I was about to answer him when Jeff spoke. “Robert, I’m going to go over your boss’ head. I’m going to contact Judge William Clark from the Family Court and ask for an emergency hearing. That letter is not solid proof of anyone’s death. Mike, I’ll be calling you back in a few minutes.”

Caleb’s face showed confusion then fear. “Mike, what’s going on here?”

I walked over to him and put my arms around him. “Well son, it seems your old school seems to think you’re dead.”

I pulled my head back quickly. “I’M WHAT?”

I kissed him on the nose. “That’s what I said son. Your old school, for some reason, told Mr. Hampton here you’re dead.”

“That’s,” he started saying then broke down in tears.

I looked over to Robert. “I hope you’re happy man. You’ve done one piss poor job on this one. If I had been you, I would have demanded those records. There had to be something in there.”

“Now see here,” he said in a surly tome just as the phone rang.

I pushed the speaker button. “Hello, Mike Hollander here.”

“Mike, this is Jeff,” he replied talking quickly. “I need you, Caleb and Robert down at the Court House as quick as you can get here.”

Robert stepped up and he didn’t look pleased. “Now see here Jeff.”

Jeff was not in the mood. “You’d better stuff it Robert, Judge Clark isn’t too happy right now so if you know what’s good for you, you’ll be there.”

I giggled then stared at Robert. “OK Jeff, I have to get changed then we’re on our way. You have my cell number, don’t you?”

“Yes I do Mike,” he replied. “I’ll see you at the Courthouse.”

I took Caleb with me as we headed down the hall. Caleb looked over his shoulder and Robert was following. “I don’t need help getting changed.”

I turned around and Robert stopped in his tracks. “You can stay out in the living room.”

Caleb went into his room and closed the door so he could change while I went into my room. I quickly washed up and put on a fresh shirt and tie. I went back out to the living room and Robert was glaring at Caleb's closed door. “I don’t like this Mr. Hollander. I’m leaning on supporting my boss on removing the boy from your custody.”

I just stared at him. “Based on 1 piece of paper? Did you see anything else? No, your own words have supported that so you have no proof.”

Caleb came out of his room then we headed for the garage. Robert left and I was right behind him. I opened the gate for him then had to open it again for me. It took about 30 minutes to get into town and another 15 minutes to get to court. We were pulling into the parking lot when my cell phone went off. “Mike Hollander.”

“Where are you Mike?”

It was Jeff. “I’m pulling into the parking lot as we speak.”

I closed the phone then found a place to park. Caleb and I were walking to the building when we saw Jeff. Caleb ran over to him. “I’m alive Jeff, I’m standing right here.”

Jeff wrapped his arm around the boy and led him towards the courthouse. “I know you are kiddo. That’s why I’ve asked for this hearing. There are a lot of questions that need answers.”

We entered a court room and a man all but ran towards Jeff. “I’ll take the boy right now.”

I managed to get in between them then stared at him. “I don’t think so.”

Jeff moved Caleb to a seat inside the rail then turned towards the man. “There is a court order in place stating Mike Hollander is his legal guardian. That order has yet to be changed. Until it is, he stays right here.”

“We’ll see about that.”

Just then a voice boomed. “All rise, Judge Clark’s court is now in session.”

We stood as a middle aged man came storming out of his chambers. I could tell this man was not happy. He took his seat then banged his gavel. “Be seated. Alright Mr. Morris, what is this emergency?”

Just then a man stood up. “Your Honor, I’m David Wells, Director of DCF.”

Judge Clark stared at the man. “I know very well who you are Mr. Wells and I don’t recall talking to you.”

“Your Honor, DCF wishes to terminate the placement of the minor child with Mr. Hollander.”

Judge Clark banged his gavel. “Be seated Mr. Wells and do not speak again unless I talk to you. Do we understand each other?”

The man sank into his seat. “Yes Your Honor.”

Jeff stood facing Judge Clark. “Your Honor, DCF worker Robert Hampton contacted Caleb Myers old school in order to get the boy’s records. Rather than get them, someone claiming to be the school’s principle sent him a two sentence letter claiming the child is dead. Now, based on this information, DCF wants to remove the child.”

Judge Clark looked over to Robert and Mr. Wells. “What does DCF propose doing with the child?”

Mr. Wells stood. “We’re going to place him in a locked, secure group home until our investigation is complete.”

“Until your investigation is complete?” The Judge fired back. “Why didn’t Mr. Hampton contact the school by phone or the school board?”

Mr. Wells started to answer when Judge Clark started shaking his head. Robert then stood. “Your Honor, I didn’t see why the school principle would lie.”

“Maybe not Mr. Hampton,” the judge started. “But before I make any ruling, I want more proof. Now, has DCF requested the child’s records?”

Robert and Wells just stared at each other. Jeff got the Judge’s attention. “Your Honor, there are more unanswered questions than just this,” Jeff said approaching the bench. “Here is the report from a Private Investigator I hired to look into the boy’s former residence.”

Judge Clark looked at the report then looked up at Robert and Wells. “Does DCF know about this report?”

“No Your Honor,” Wells said standing up.

“Yes Your Honor,” Jeff countered. “I told Mr. Hampton my PI’s preliminary report the day he came out to talk with Mr. Hollander and Caleb.”

“Is this true?” the judge asked.

Robert stood and I could tell he was nervous. “Yes Your Honor. Mr. Jefferies gave me that information and it did concern me.”

“So are you going to take the word of a 2 sentence letter and say the kid is dead with no other proof, like a death certificate?”

Robert just stood there then David Wells stood. “That report of his PI is self serving.”

“Self serving?” Judge Clark bellowed. “It’s pretty damning to me Mr. Wells. Now, here is what I’m going to do. First, Caleb Myers will remain in the custody of Dr. Mike Hollander and if DCF tries to interfere the both of you will have a new address. Next, I’m issuing a subpoena to the State Department of Education and to his former school for the school records of Caleb Myers. Now, when I get these records, there will be a birth certificate in there. Caleb, by chance did your mother ever tell you where you were born?”

Caleb looked over to me then at the judge. “Umm, I remember hearing her say Mercy Hospital but I don’t know if that is where I was born.”

Judge Clark was busy writing. “Thank you Caleb. Personally, I believe you are who you say you are but we do need to find out what is going on here. I know you’re just as confused as we are but we will get to the bottom of this. If your parents are in any way behind this, they will be held accountable. Mr. Wells, you are ordered to turn over the file DCF has on Caleb to the clerk of this court. The court will supervise Caleb Myers from here on out. The court is now adjourned.”

We stood as the judge left the bench to return to his chambers then Wells got cocky “I’ll do no such thing.”

The Judge stopped then came over towards him. The jurist got nose to nose with the man. “You what?”

Robert reached into his briefcase. “Here is the file Your Honor.”

The Judge took the file and stormed towards his chambers. David was glaring. “You think you’re real smart don’t you?”

Robert shook his head. “Oh shut up David. As soon as you saw that letter you’ve been hell bent and determined to put this boy into a group home. Jeff, I should have called that school and talked with someone. Now I really wish I had.”

David turned and stared at Robert. “If you had, I’d have fired you.”

Jeff slammed the lid down on his briefcase. “If you had, I would have had a law suit filed against your office so fast it would have made your head spin. Robert cares about the kids and the procedures. Now, if I were you, I wouldn’t even think about trying to terminate him.”

I took Caleb’s hand and we walked out of the courtroom. “Now what Mike?”

Jeff came up and put his hand on Caleb’s shoulder. “Now we wait until Judge Clark gets your school records. I’m very interested to see what all is in there.”

“Why?” Caleb asked.

I knelt in front of him. “Son, someone told the school you’re dead and I am curious as to who and why. The why, I think I already know.”

“Why Mike?” Caleb asked as his eyes started to water.

I drew him close into a hug. “That way when they abandoned you, finding out who you are and getting you back into school would be very hard.”

Caleb was really crying now. “U you mean they didn’t want me any more?”

I picked him up and carried him as we headed to the truck. “I can’t answer that but you know you’re wanted now son.”

He looked at me and smiled when he heard that. “Yeah, that I am Mike and I’m glad it’s you who wants me.”

Jeff stopped at the Yukon and he and I were talking when Mr. Wells and Robert came out of the courthouse. “I wonder what’s going on between those two?”

Jeff shook his head as Robert approached. “God David is such a prick today. I’m glad Judge Clark took your case Mike, David seems to think you’re not good enough to raise Caleb.”

Caleb almost had a fit when he heard that. “Mike’s NOT good enough. I knew kids at school who had just one parent and they did alright.”

Robert ruffled the boy’s hair. “Caleb, a lot of kids today are being raised by single and divorced parents. We have a number of single foster parents.”

Jeff jumped on that. “All women, I bet?”

Robert looked at the ground as he nodded his head. “I’m afraid so.”

I could tell he was perturbed. “You mean you’d have no problem putting a girl in with a single woman but having a boy placed with a single male is out of the question?”

Robert got a little defensive. “Hey Jeff, I don’t make the rules. I did place two teens with James but…”

“But it wasn’t your first choice,” Jeff finished. “I remember those cases. No one wanted to foster those boys but James did AND he turned their lives around.”

Robert nodded in agreement. “I know Jeff and the Director at the time kept very close tabs on the boys too.”

Jeff shook his head. “I can’t believe after the successes you’ve had, why your department is still so against men fostering. By your own admissions you’re discriminating.”

Robert smiled. “I know and I don’t like it. Maybe someone will force the issue.”

Now I knew where this was heading but I did not want to be a test case. “Robert, Judge Clark’s court has Caleb’s case now and I’m sure when the dust settles, he’ll let Caleb remain in my care. As far as adopting him goes, we haven’t thought that far.”

Robert smiled. “Well, you won’t get any objections from me Jeff. I do care about the kids and since Caleb is 15, his wishes will carry a lot of weight. Thanks for running interference with David. I think your comment about a law suit cooled his jets. I better get back to the office. I’ll see you all later.”

Caleb and I left the courthouse and headed home. As soon as I pulled onto the property Raj was by the front gate and he let us know he was hungry. I headed for the house and was almost to the door. “Hey Mike, Chaka and Sultan are doing it.”

I froze in my tracks. “They’re doing what?”

Caleb giggled. “You know, they’re doing it, the dirty deed.”

I turned around and walked over to him giggling. “I’ll be damned son, it looks like Chaka is back in season. We’re going to have to keep Raj out of there or Sultan might see him as a threat to Chaka and could hurt him.”

We watched until they were done mating. I put Raj into the other cage while Caleb went to feed them then I thought about dinner. “Caleb, is there anything in particular you’d like for dinner?”

He set the food bowls down then came over giving me a lecherous grin. He wrapped his arms around my butt and pulled my waist against his chest. “I’ll have a little of this and some cream for desert.”

I giggled at that as I bent down and picked him up. “I’ve created a little sex monster.”

Caleb leaned in and kissed me passionately. “No you didn’t love, I’ve always been a little sex monster.”

I kissed his nose then set him down. “Well sex isn’t exactly nourishing love so what would you like for dinner?”

He thought for a minute then the teenager came out. “How about a frozen pizza?”

I nodded my head then went inside to get the oven preheating while Caleb finished feeding the cats. 30 minutes later we were dining on a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. After dinner, Caleb headed towards his room then came back naked. I was wondering if he had desert on his mind. “Mike, can we shower together?”

He hadn’t had a chance to get the chlorine off from his morning swim. “Sure love, let’s go.”

We headed into my room and Caleb got the water running. He came into the bedroom just as I’d stripped. “God Mike, your butt looks wonderful.”

I was still getting used to hearing compliments about my body and it did make me feel good. I went over and scooped him up into my arms holding him like a baby. “Your butt looks pretty good too baby.”

I carried him into the bathroom then set him down so we could get into the shower. I got the shampoo and started washing Caleb’s hair. He stuck his head under the water as I rinsed the soap out. I gave him another washing then used my conditioner on it. After I was done there, Caleb wanted to wash my hair so I let him. After he rinsed and conditioned my hair he got the soap and gave me one hell of a sensuous shower. When he washed my chest, he paid extra attention to my nipples and soon I was hard as a rock. He looked at me smiling. “Did I do that?”

He quickly finished washing me, saving the best parts for last. I felt his hand on my ass then his fingers slipped in between my cheeks finding my hole. Caleb was not the least bit shy and I felt 2 fingers slip inside my hole hitting my prostate. I let out a soft moan as he continued rubbing my love nut. I didn’t really want to cum in the shower. “If you keep that up, I’m going to blow right here.”

Caleb slowly slid his fingers out of my ass then washed my dick and balls. I got under the water and rinsed my front off as Caleb did my back. Then it was my turn. I gave him the same treatment and when I got to his ass, I gently washed around his hole but I felt Caleb push backwards causing my finger to slip inside a little. I didn’t want to hurt him so I stopped. “Don’t stop Mike.”

I didn’t want the soap drying in his hole so I slid my finger out and rinsed him off. “I have something that’s better if you’re really serious.”

He smiled at me and nodded his head. “I am serious love. Glen fingered me and it would feel so good when I came.”

I got him rinsed off and dried then I carried him to my room. I reached into my nightstand and handed him my bottle of Wet. He put some onto his fingers then pulled his legs up working the lube around his hole. After several minutes, Caleb slipped his middle finger inside and started fucking himself. I could see his dick was like a nail then he looked up at me. “Can you do this lover?”

To be continued...
