Chapter 2

First, I really messed up by asking my brother Edward to read and post Gerry's and my story. By that I mean as Edward’s guardian angel I should have seen that it would cause him major problems, and he did have one that caused him to have heart surgery. So while Edward is recovering I am going to use his computer and bring you up to date on the story of Gerry and me.

If I am not mistaken Edward had given you a brief rundown about how Gerry and I met at Crazy Horse School for Indian Children. I am not sure if he had told you about our (my) mother or not, so I will take it from there also a bit about Gerry's dad and how he reacted to the fact his son was gay.

Mom was a Sioux Indian Princess named Angel of the White Wings even though her given name was Andrea, and Edward's dad was my step-father. Mom had a hard delivery with me, and the doctors told her never to try to have another baby as it could kill her. Well that did not go over so well with dad, as Edward had already stated he was gay and dad wanted to make sure at least one of us passed on his family name. To sum it up mom did end up pregnant and like the doctors told her it killed her. That little girl survived but my step-father put her up for adoption according to Edward right after mom passed away. From what Edward told me dad forbid us to ever try to locate our little sister. Well Edward contacted my mom's dad for the proper burial and of course Edwards dad had to have his say in everything. To sum it up mom was taken care of by the Sioux Indians and cremated as is the custom with her ashes spread to the wind.

Now lets talk about the first time we met Gerry's father. It was in the start of our 5th year at Crazy Horse School. He made a big issue about his son sharing a room with a Sioux Indian with John Two-Feathers the head of the school. By then Gerry and I where already sharing the room, and had been for four years, and when ever he could Edward would bring the two of us home so that Gerry would not be left at school alone by himself.

Edward has a word for Chief Nothing Wrong the head of the 1st tribe out of Canada. Oh yeah Edward called him a bigoted asshole. Gerry's father thought that his son needed only the best even though he ignored Gerry during the time he spent in school that year.

I know that I have been rambling on, but I had to check in on Edward to make sure he is doing as the doctors tell him.

It was Sept 3rd, a day before classes started and all hell broke loose, and by that I mean Gerry's father was yelling at Mr. Two-Feathers and Mr. Little Crow for allowing his son to room with another Indian and one that was gay to top it off. Oh yeah I knew that I was gay by the time I was in my first gym class as it was the other guys I liked to look at but it was Gerry I really loved to be with. The Chief was threatening to have the school closed down until Mr. Two-Feathers told him since he is in Canada he has no say on what happens in the US especially at Crazy Horse. The next thing I remember hearing was, "Fine you take care of the gay son of mine as of today I have no son named Gerry".

Not sure what to do I called Edwards and he said he would contact grandfather to see if the tribe would pick up Gerry's fee's. Gerry was to come home with me when ever it was possible. Lets just say that Sept 3rd, was the start of a long and loving relationship between Gerry and myself.

Look I know this is not the longest or the best ever written but as I stated at the start I feel guilty as Edward had to have heart surgery while he read mine and Gerry's journals. I hope that he will be able to get another chapter out by the end of February, and that one should have more information for you to read. Please remember every one should be treated equally.

Till next time take care and please pray for my brother.
Luke
