Chapter 71
Bob and Dylan got to their feet then they hoisted Brenda up and led her out of the area. It took them several minutes to get her outside and into a squad car for the trip over to the hospital. As soon as she was put into the secure back seat of the car, Bob and Dylan headed for the hospital.
Bob gave my weapon to the desk sergeant so he handed it to me as Bennie and I headed out to the Hummer. Bennie and I returned to the residence and hurried upstairs. We got ready for dinner and Ben was in the dining room when we arrived. “How did it go?” Ben asked.
Bennie looked at him and sighed. “Dad she’s really lost it. She said she was mom.”
“Did you Baker Act her?” Ben asked?
“We did Sir,” I replied. “She didn’t take it very well but she didn’t have much of a choice.”
“You didn’t hurt her did you?” Ben asked.
“No Sir,” I answered as I got myself a cup of coffee. “I just wonder what will happen when she’s released after 72 hours.”
“If they think she’s safe to be outside, they’ll release her otherwise, she’ll remain in the hospital,” Ben replied.
“Is there any way we can make her return to California?” Bennie asked.
“I don’t think so love, then it’d be like we’re trying to tell people where they can and can’t go.”
Bennie closed his eyes and shook his head, “I’ll never get any peace Dad.”
“Eventually she’ll have to return home son,” Ben said.
“Before or after she’s driven me totally bonkers?” he asked.
I gave him a hug. “Let’s hope she decides to leave sooner rather than later.”
“Can they make that a condition of her release?”
“If she’s out to make a scene or something like that, I think they could,” Ben answered.
“Let’s hope this gets her marbles rearranged,” I said, causing me to get a dirty look from Ben.
Bennie defended me. “Dad you didn’t see her. She was in her cell totally naked.”
“Oh my god,” Ben gasped. “They took her clothes?”
“No dad, she stripped all on her own,” Bennie answered.
Ben looked down and shook her head. “I’m sorry Ace. I didn’t realize she was that bad.”
Just then the residence phone rang. “Ace can you get that please?”
I walked over and answered it. “Residence, Special Agent Mason speaking.”
“This is Dr. Fowler. I’m the psychiatrist on duty at George Washington Hospital. Might I speak to someone who can tell me anything about a Brenda Schultz?”
I covered the mouth piece. “Sir, it’s a doctor at GW Medical Center calling about Brenda. Would you like to speak to him?”
Ben rolled his eyes at me but reached for the phone so I brought it over to him. “This is President Jacobs.”
“Mr. President, I’m sorry to bother you but Ms. Schultz listed you as the person of contact.”
“She’s my mother-in-law so I guess I’m as good a person as any. What may I do for you?”
“I just interviewed her and I’m trying to find a reason why she’s here.”
“Doctor, I am about to have my dinner but after I’m finished, I’ll have a Secret Service agent bring you a DVD that will show you all you’ll need.”
“Thank you Mr. President.”
“Good bye,” Ben said then hung up the phone.
“Dad, can I go too, please?” Bennie asked.
Ben nodded his head in approval then Gloria came in with dinner. “Come on people, let’s sit down so you can eat.”
We took our places then dove in to Gloria’s Mexican meatloaf dinner. We all enjoyed dinner and I had to make sure I didn’t pig out too much so there could be some left over for sandwiches. After I ate, I called down to Dylan and asked him to join us at the hospital. When Bennie finished, we walked to the West Wing and met up with Dylan.
“Hi guys, are we ready?”
I nodded my head. “Yep, let’s get this show on the road. I don’t want to be there all night.”
We got into the Hummer for the drive over to GW Hospital. We stopped at Patient Information to find out where Brenda was. We were instructed to go to the 6th floor and ask for Dr. Andrews. When we stepped off the elevator, it looked like we were entering the residence. Doors were locked and everyone needed an escort. We managed to find a nurses station and told her who we needed to see. The nurse directed us to a conference room and said, “Dr. Andrews will be here shortly.”
There was a coffee pot so I fixed myself a cup and sat down to wait. I took a sip then the door opened and a middle aged man entered. “Sorry for the wait gentlemen, I was with a patient.”
“Were you with grandma?” Bennie asked.
“I can’t say legally but I am her physician.”
I got up and handed him the DVD. “I think you should see this doctor.”
The doctor took the DVD and slipped it into his laptop. When the video started, right away the doctor heard Brenda’s voice. He sat back and watched the entire video in silence.
After watching it, he began asking questions. Bennie pulled no punches. He told the doctor everything. He explained how she entered his room without permission to how she destroyed his computer and tried to start mine. The doctor was even informed about the lawsuit that was dismissed. “It seems your grandmother is still living in a fantasy world.”
“Can you help her?” Bennie asked.
“I can only do so much but the majority has to come from her.”
“Dr. Andrews, can we see her?” I asked.
“I don’t recommend it right now.”
“Why not?” Bennie asked. “Is she violent?”
Dr. Andrews sat back and sighed. “It’s possible. She knows she’s here for only 72 hours so I think she’s trying to bide her time so she can just walk out.”
“Isn’t she aware that you have the final say?” Dylan asked.
“I’ve told her that but she thinks she’ll leave when her time is up.”
“Maybe she’ll need her eyes opened,” Bennie said.
“And how would you propose that be done?”
“Easy,” Bennie said smiling. “May I borrow your legal pad?”
The doctor slid it over and Bennie started writing.
Grandma,
If you want to get out of here, you’re going to have to realize a few things. One is you’re NOT my mother and I have still not forgiven you for trashing my computer. I’ll be willing to put in a good word for you if you agree to the following terms.
1. You leave here and go back to California.
2. You allow me to live my life as I WANT to.
3. I will see you when I have time. My education and my husband comes first. After I graduate, my job will take priority.
4. Get used to it, I’m not a little boy any longer but I’m an adult.
Bennie
“Please give that to her Doc,” Bennie said smiling.
The doctor read it. “You don’t pull any punches do you?”
Bennie handed me the pad and I read it. “I think he stated his position very well.”
Dylan was standing behind me and read it too. “Wow Bennie, that took balls.”
Bennie just smiled. “Well yeah, I have big ….”
“Don’t finish it love!” I said interrupting him.
“Oh, alright.” He relented.
Dr. Andrews was chuckling under his breath. “I’ll give this to her.”
I thought for a moment. “Doc, is there any way you could let us know how well she takes it?” Bennie asked.
“Well, how about I bring you upstairs and you can give it to her personally?”
I had to think for a moment because there were only Dylan and myself there with Bennie. “Dylan we’ll have to stay close to Bennie.”
“One more thing Agent Mason, you’ll have to leave your weapons here.”
I shook my head. “That’s not going to happen Doc, we’re on duty so we have to be armed.”
He nodded his head. “If you must.”
We got up and followed the doctor to the elevator. Bennie stayed close to me as we stepped off on the fourth floor. We came to a large door that the doctor had to unlock before we could enter.
When we entered we heard voices and saw the various residents. Dr. Andrews stopped at the nurse’s station and asked about Brenda. I looked around and didn’t see her in the common room. “Come with me gentlemen.”
We followed as he went down the hall. He stopped at a door then knocked. “Come in.” A voice said.
The doc opened the door and I saw Brenda sitting on her bed. As soon as we entered she looked up at us. “Oh son, come here and give me a hug.”
Bennie stepped behind me. “Do I have to love?” He whispered in my ear.
“It’s up to you love,” I answered softly.
I felt him take a deep breath then he stepped out and walked over. She went to stand and held her arms out but Bennie stopped and handed her the letter. “Read that and heed it,” Bennie said coldly.
She opened it and started reading as Bennie stepped back to us. “Why you ungrateful shit!” She bellowed.
“I raised you and this is the thanks I get?” She shouted and started to make a move towards us.
I stepped forward ready to protect Bennie causing her to stop in her tracks. “You didn’t raise me, my father and Gloria did.”
“I’ll ruin you!” She screamed.
Bennie stepped out and looked at her. “No you won’t because you can’t. You’re yelling and screaming like a mad person. Your problem is that you can’t control me and you don’t like that.”
“You’re not married. I’ll fight that until I die.”
Bennie waved his hand at her then went to open the door. As soon as he stepped out she charged. I got ready to protect Bennie but then 2 large orderlies flew past us and took control of her.
“Go on and get out of here. You’re no child of mine. I’d never raise a fucking faggot.”
Bennie stopped and turned around and charged her. I reached out trying to wrap my arm around him but he’s big and strong. He got into her face and yelled. “You’re no relative of mine. You can rot in here.”
He turned around and ran into my arms. “Let’s go love.”
He let me go then took my hand. A nurse came in and gave her a sedative. As we went through the common room a woman came up to Bennie. “Hiya honey.”
A nurse came up and led her away as we made our way to the door. Dr. Andrews was standing there. “Now you see how she really is,” Bennie said as we walked past.
When we got into the elevator Bennie leaned against me and started crying. I caressed his hair and gently kissed him. “Bennie she got the result she wanted. She pushed your buttons. Don’t let her get to you baby.”
Dylan rubbed his back. “Ace is right Bennie. I know it’s hard but try and let it go.”
Bennie sighed and stopped crying by the time we got to the first floor. Dylan stayed with Bennie while I got the Hummer then we returned to the residence. I parked the Hummer then we headed inside. Bennie went down to his room while Dylan and I talked. Just then our cell phones went off. Dylan grabbed his first. “Ace we have a situation.”
I didn’t need this now. “What is it?”
“It’s coming from the President’s office.”
We headed for the living room and about the door, a red light was blinking.
We hurried over and I tried to quietly open the door but it was locked from the inside. I shook my head to Dylan. “Do you have the key?”
I pulled my credentials out and took my ID card out. I swiped it through the lock then slowly eased the handle down. I eased it open and got a shock. I saw an Army Sergeant standing in front of Ben holding a weapon. I drew my weapon and slowly opened the door wide enough so I could see the whole room.
Dylan had his rifle with him. We turned our laser sights on and aimed. “Drop the weapon.”
The man was startled causing him to turn and face us. “So you’re here to take out another causality of war?”
“Drop the weapon Sergeant,” I said in a firm voice.
“I don’t take orders from civilians.” He replied.
“Then obey your commander-in-chief,” I shouted.
“Why, he caused this.”
“You don’t know your time lines Sergeant,” I said.
“When the President took office, all troops were home.”
“But we were lost in the shuffle.”
“Drop the weapon and we’ll talk.”
The man was thinking. He stepped back and let the magazine fall from the weapon. He opened the slide and locked it then dropped in on the floor. He raised his hands and dropped to his knees breaking down into tears. “I’m sorry Mr. President, please forgive me.”
Dylan and I came in and took control of the man. Dylan held him while I searched him. He was clean then he was led over to the sofa. Ben went over and sat beside him and put on his father hat. After several minutes, he had the man spilling his guts as to the problems he’d been having getting help for his PTSD.
The one thing I remembered from my time in the Air Force was if you needed mental health care, your file was red flagged and you were considered a leper. “Sir, the way our men are getting treated for PTSD is appalling.”
Ben looked at me. “I agree Ace and I’m going to do something to make it better for them.”
The sergeant looked up. “Really Sir?” He asked.
“Yes Sergeant, really.” Ben answered.
I called for a uniformed officer to come to the residence and pick up the sergeant and take him to psychiatric facility so he could get proper treatment.
“I guess this shot my career in the ass, didn’t it?”
“I’m afraid so Sarge,” I answered.
“Are you ex-military?”
“Yep, US Air Force retired.”
“Let me guess, Air Police?”
I wanted to hug him on the spot but I didn’t “Man, you’re the first person not to ask me if I was a pilot.”
“Well, since you’re with the Secret Service, I figured you had a military police background.”
“I hate to do this but I have to charge you with attempted assassination.”
He hung his head and nodded. “I understand but I had to do something to call attention to what’s going on out there.”
“But pointing a gun at the president isn’t the way to do it.”
“I see that now but then I felt it was the only way.”
I turned him over to a uniformed officer then they left the grounds. I found out he was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. I was about the go into Bennie’s room when my cell went off. “Mason.”
“Ace, what happened?”
“Adam, word sure gets around fast.”
“It does now what the hell happened?”
“A veteran met with the President and I guess they got talking about our vets who have returned with untold problems.”
“Ace, the VA is equipped to deal with our veterans.”
“Are they really?” I asked.
“You know they are.”
“And do you know when they seek help, it goes on their record and their careers are ruined?”
“That’s not our worry, it’s the military’s,” Adam retorted.
I was steaming. “Adam, you never served in the military did you?”
“Actually I did.”
“What branch?”
“Navy,” Adam answered.
“Let me guess,” I started. “JAG.”
“That’s right.”
“You never handled a case of PTSD?”
“Yes, I did.
“How did you handle it?”
“I was the prosecutor on the case and I went for the max.”
“I see and you’re part of the problem and not the cure.”
“What?” Adam fired back. “I investigated the case and his superiors all said he was malingering.”
“By chance, did you happen to talk to his doctors?”
“Why, should I?”
“Well, that way you might have learned what was really going on.”
“Ace, I think you’re thinking with your heart and not your head.”
“Not at all Adam. PTSD takes a psychiatrist to diagnose. A GP doesn’t have the knowledge to see it unless he’s been in psychiatry.”
“I’m going to seek a jail sentence for him.”
“Adam, I can’t support that and I won’t. This man needs intense psychiatric therapy.”
“Fine, I’ll move for a psychiatric evaluation on him.”
“He’ll be getting that where he’s at.”
“Alright Ace,” Adam sighed. “We’ll see what the docs have to say.”
I ended the call then went down to Bennie’s room.
“Hi baby, what took you so long?”
“Dylan and I needed to talk.” I answered not wanting to tell Bennie what had happened.
He pushed the covers down and he was in his naked glory. “Well, come on and join me.”
My lover was ready for action. I saw a towel on the bed and his tool was soft so I took the opportunity to suckle on it.
I loved sucking on his soft dick. The second I took it into my mouth, Bennie raised his legs wanting me to explore his nether region. Once his dick was at full staff I began to lick my way south. The minute I got near his hole, it opened and winked at me. I took the opportunity to drive my tongue into his love canal.
Bennie was moaning like crazy. “Ace, don’t tease me like this. Fuck me lover, please.”
“If you wish baby.” I stripped in record time.
Then I put his legs on my shoulders and lined my dick up with his chute. “Come on baby, give it to me.”
I started to enter him when he reached his arms out and grabbed my hips and pulled me toward him. I wasn’t prepared for this so I ended up bottoming out in his ass. I pulled back and waited. “Are you alright love?”
“I felt you in my gut.”
“Lover, don’t do that. I take my time so I can full stroke you.”
I leaned down and kissed him passionately then began to make love to him. After several minutes of this Bennie slapped my ass. “Come on cowboy, ride me.”
He was loose now so I felt safe in giving him all I had. I began to long stroke him and Bennie started to moan as he was jacking his kielbasa. “I’m gonna cum baby.”
I felt his ass clamp down on my dick which sent me over the edge and I fired my load into his chute. My legs got weak and I collapsed onto his chest. He started kissing me. “Oh man, I loved that sweetie.”
I was breathing hard but managed to gasp out. “I loved that too.”
Once I came back to Earth, I rolled over and managed to stand up. I carried him into the bathroom then sat him onto the toilet. He expelled his load then we jumped into the shower and cleaned up. When we were finished, Bennie and I returned to bed for some much needed sleep.
The next morning I woke up at 7am and Bennie was still sleeping soundly. Breakfast was at 8 so I got some clean undies, went into the bathroom and started the shower. After a quick wash I got dried and dressed. It was 7:20 so I decided to wake Bennie. “Come on sleepy head, wakey wakey.”
“Oh, Ace, come on I’m on break.” Bennie moaned.
“Alright, I’ll tell Gloria.”
Bennie shot up in the bed. “Wait, I’m up.”
I giggled to myself. “You might want to get a shower.”
“You didn’t wait for me?”
“Someone was still sleeping.”
“OK, OK,” Bennie said throwing the covers off.
He got up and grabbed some clean undies then headed for the bathroom. I heard him start the shower and get in then before I could leave, the shower cut off and Bennie was standing there getting dried. He woke up in one of his moods. He was standing there drying his ass and dick trying his best to turn me on. I blew him a kiss then went down to the dining room. I fixed myself a cup of coffee then sat down at the table. Gloria came in with some fresh croissants. Right away my mouth started watering so I reached for one. “Now, now Señor Ace those are for breakfast.”
I was busted. “Alright Gloria, they’re off limits for now.”
Bennie came in and fixed his coffee then reached for a croissant but I slapped his hand. “Hands off, they’re for the meal.”
“Aww, I bet you had one.” Bennie moaned.
“No he didn’t mijo,” Gloria said as she set our plates in front of us.
I handed him one then took one for myself as Ben came in. “Morning dad.”
“Morning son,” Ben replied as he fixed his coffee. “What do you have planned for today?”
“Could I go over and see Jake and Carl?” Bennie asked.
“It’s fine with me but you might want to see what they’re doing.”
Bennie smiled as he stuffed a mouthful of food into his mouth. Bennie went to reach for his phone but Ben gave him “that” look. After breakfast, Bennie gave Jake a call. “Hey bud, how’s it going?”
“Bennie, how are you?” Jake asked surprised.
“I’m fine, I was wondering if you’re doing anything today.”
“Well, I’m going skiing.”
“Skiing? Man where are you?”
“Lake Placid,” Jake answered. “We came up here for the break.”
Bennie put the call on speaker. “How are the boys taking to the snow?”
“Oh man, they love it.” Jake answered.
“Are they skiing yet?” I asked.
“They’re trying but they seem to spend more time on their butts,” Jake answered. “Hey man, I gotta go.”
“OK dude, have fun,” Bennie said then Jake ended the call.
“Oh well, so much for that idea.”
Bennie sat down and I could see him thinking. He was about to speak when my cell went off. “Mason.”
“Ace, do you know what you need to do?”
“What have I forgot now Ed?” I asked.
“Qualifications.”
“Oh shit, when do they expire?”
“Actually they expired several days ago.”
“Crap. Where do I go?”
“I’ve spoken to Mike at the academy range. He’s agreed to let you qualify there.”
I sighed then sat down. “What time?”
“Can you be there at 10AM?”
I didn’t have a choice. “Yeah, I can be there.”
“Great, I’ll see you there.”
“Ah, one more thing.” I added.
“What’s up?”
“Bennie.”
“Alright, since I’ll be there you can bring him too.”
I ended the call then looked at Bennie. “Well, we have something to do today now.”
“What’s that?” Bennie asked.
“I have to qualify with my weapon.”
“How often do you have to do that?”
“Four times a year.” I answered. “Get dressed because we have to get going.”
I went across the hall and put on my vest and put my weapon on. I made sure I had my extra magazines because I would have to do a reload.
I went out to the dining room and Ben was still sitting there. “Sir, I have to go over to the academy and requalify.”
“Are you going to take Bennie too?”
“Yes Sir, I’d planned on it.”
“Alright,” he replied.
Tonka was by the elevator so we took him out then the three of us were off to the academy. We walked into the range at the stroke of 10 and Mike was waiting for us.
“Nice to see you Ace.”
“Thanks man. I’ve been so busy I let this little matter slip my mind.”
He led me over to a firing line when I set my weapon on the bench and unloaded it. I then unloaded a spare magazine.
As soon as that was done Mike came up to me. “You can fire three rounds to check your sights.”
I loaded the rounds then locked the magazine in place. Mike tapped me on the shoulder. “Lock and load.”
I let the slide move forward so it could chamber a round. “You may fire when ready.”
I quickly raised the weapon and pointed it down range at the target and fired. After the last shot was fired, the slide locked in the open position letting me know I was empty. I set my weapon down and brought the target in.
“Man Ace, good shooting.” Bennie said smiling. “Could I have a turn?”
“Not right now love, I have to qualify.”
Just then Ed arrived. “Nice grouping Ace.”
I felt confident I could do my qualifications without a hitch. Mike put up a new target then sent it downrange. “Load five rounds into a magazine and for this you will be shooting with your non-standard hand.”
I loaded five rounds into a magazine and waited. “Load your weapon.”
I slid the magazine in and waited. “Fire.”
I unlocked the slide and started firing. As soon as I was empty, I set my weapon down and waited. Mike brought the target up and I was amazed. “Ace, that’s fifty five X.”
What that meant was all five rounds were in the bull’s eye. That was the first time I ever got a five X with my off hand.
A new target was sent down range then I had twenty five rounds to fire. Fifteen rounds went into the first magazine then the final ten went into another. I would have to drop a magazine then reload. “Load your weapon.”
I got ready then waited. “Fire.”
I shot my rounds then quickly reloaded and finished shooting. I set my weapon on the bench then waited. I needed a two thirty five to qualify out of a possible two fifty. All agent have to be excellent shots and it has to show in our qualifications. Mike was at his desk with my target. I policed my brass and tossed it into a can then reloaded my weapon and put it into my holster. I was sure I qualified but I wanted to know my score so I went over to the desk and looked at the target. My rounds were in a tight group. In the nine and ten ring.
“Ace, you got a two nineteen out of a possible two twenty five.”
Add that to the fifty points from my left hand gave me two sixty nine. For me that was my best score ever. I’d never shot that well back when I was younger so this felt good.
Mike looked at Ed and gave him a thumbs up. “Two sixty nine.”
Ed nodded his head. “Good shooting buddy. You’re top agent this quarter.”
Being top agent gets me an extra day off with pay so we look forward to them. We were about to leave when Mike looked up. “Hey probie.”
We stopped and looked around. Bennie looked at me. “He’s not talking to me, I’m not a probie.”
Bennie walked over to him. “Yes?”
“You qualified too.”
Bennie broke out into a huge smile. “Ace, I did it.”
I gave him a high 5 then we headed back to our vehicles. “Ace can I carry a gun now?”
My head snapped over. “Uh, not yet love.”
“Aww, why not?”
“Two reasons. First off you’re not twenty one yet,” I started.
“What’s the other reason?”
“You’re not an agent yet.”
“Man, this sucks.”
“It’s not my doing love. It’s the law.”
“But we’re married. That makes me an adult.”
“In certain circumstances it does but not for this. The law is clear and doesn’t make any exceptions.”
“So I’m not allowed to shoot?”
“Yes you can as long as a parent or guardian is with you.”
“Can I shoot again?”
“Sure, I’ll bring you to the range so you can keep your skills up.”
“How do you keep yours up?”
“I go to the range too.”
We pulled onto the White House grounds and headed for the residence. Bennie and I were about to get comfortable when my cell rang. “Mason.”
“Ace, can you come to my office please?”
“Yes Sir, I’m on my way.”
“Was that my dad?”
“Yes love, it was.”
Bennie hopped up and took me by the hand. “Come on, let’s go.”
We headed for the west wing then went around to the oval office. As soon as we stepped in, Fred pointed to the door then picked up his handset. “Mr. President, Agent Mason is here.”
“Send him in.” He replied.
I got up and then the door opened. “Bennie, can you wait here son?”
“Yes Sir,” Bennie answered and sat back down.
When I enter, the first thing I see is an Air Force General. “Ace, this is General Calrity.
I went over and shook his hand. “Nice to meet you General.”
Ben sat down behind his desk and looked at me. “Ace, do you happen to know who this is?”
“No sir. We haven’t met before today,” I replied.
General Clarity took the floor. “Agent Mason, we have a little problem.”
“And you need the assistance of the Secret Service?”
“Well, not really.” He answered. “It seems you were mustered out a little too early.”
“Huh?” I said looking totally confused. “Too early? Every airman knows when their time is up, down to the hour and minute.”
“I understand that but you were separated too early.”
“Too early?” I got out. “How much too early?”
“As close as we can figure, twenty eight days.”
I looked at Ben. “Sir, with all due respect, I have an essential job.”
“I know you do so we’ve been trying to figure out how to solve this problem.”
“General, I’m officially retired. Suppose I refuse?” I asked.
“Well, the Air Force could and probably would Court Marshall you which would lead to a loss of benefits and your retirement.”
“You realize I protect your Commander-In-Chief, don’t you?”
I saw the General swallow hard. “I do Agent Mason. So this is what we’re prepared to do.”
“I’m listening Sir.” I said.
“We are prepared to have you serve your time on weekends.”
“And if the President has to go off on business?”
“We would allow you to accompany him.”
I looked at Ben when the General was talking. I couldn’t read him. “Sir, what do you have to say about this?” I asked.
“I have to admit I was taken aback when I was informed of this but I think it’s a fair solution.”
“General, I now have a dependent.”
“That’s not a problem. Who is she?”
I shook my head. “It’s not a she Sir,”
“You’re gay?” He asked.
“I am.” I answered.
“Well, this casts things in a different light.”
I saw fire in Ben’s eyes. “How so General.”
“I don’t find homosexuality compatible with military life.”
“General there is nothing you can do about it. Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell has been repealed.”
“I know sir but I don’t like it.”
“General you WILL learn to live with it. Do I make myself clear?”
The general snapped to attention. “We are crystal clear Sir.”
“Good, now I don’t want to hear of any problems with Agent Mason’s time. If I do, your position is on the line.”
“Yes Sir.” General Clarity said.
When will Agent Mason begin his weekends?” Ben asked.
“I’d like to start this as soon as possible.” The General answered.
“Where do I get my uniforms?”
The General reached inside his jacket pocket and pulled out some papers and handed them to me. “Go to base clothing sales and hand them these.”
I looked at them and they were orders recalling me back to active duty. I noticed something right off. “Excuse me, these say Lieutenant Colonel.”
“That’s correct Colonel Mason. Had you served your tour you would have been promoted.”
“This will change my retirement check,” I said smiling.
“That it will.” Here is a Class A uniform. Try it on please.”
I took my suit jacket off and put the Air Force one on. I had to admit, he got the size correct. “It fits perfectly. Now, you do realize I have to carry a side arm at all times.”
“I do so on your way to duty and going home, you may carry but not on the base.”
“What will my duty assignment be?” I asked.
“Executive officer to the Air Security Detachment.”
“So I’ll be riding a desk.” I said.
“Basically unless you’re needed with the team.”
“I wasn’t going to like this because I was an outdoor person.”
“I want Agent Mason’s presence seen when Air Force One has to leave the base.” Ben said.
“Yes Sir.”
“After you get your uniforms, get your new ID card issued.”
“Alright, what about my vehicle?”
“Not a problem, we can get you a base sticker for it.”
“Are there any other questions?”
“Not right now but if I do, I can get them answered later.”
“Thank you Agent Mason.” The general said then saluted Ben. “By your leave Sir.”
“You may leave General.”
I went out to get Bennie and he had the strangest look on his face. “What’s that you’re wearing?”
I still had my Air Force jacket on. “Uh well, it’s like this love. I’m back in the Air Force for a few months.”
“A few months?” What about me and your job here?”
“Calm down love, it’s only on the weekends.”
“Where will you be?” He asked.
“I’ll be at Andrews.”
“What are your hours?” He asked.
“Shit, good question,” I replied as I made a mental note of that.
We returned to the residence then we relaxed for the rest of the day.
While we had the time off, I had Bennie work with me so I could test for my black belt. We had made great progress and Bennie told me I was good enough to test. I had to find a school who would be willing to give me the test.
I found a school close to the residence so I decided to send them an email explaining the situation. Before I could shut down my laptop I received a reply.
Agent Mason,
It would truly be an honor to test you for your Black belt. Please call my studio to schedule a time.
Sincerely,
Master Tai Chin
I printed the email out and brought it over to Bennie. “Hey love, read this.” I said then handed him the paper.
My baby smiled. “When do you want to test?”
I started getting butterflies in my stomach. “Are you sure I’m ready?”
Bennie stood up and went to hit me but I blocked it. “Why do you question yourself love?”
“I’m not love, I don’t want to take up someone’s time when I’m not ready.”
“What was it you would tell me? Don’t under estimate yourself?”
“Touché baby, you got me. I’ll talk with your dad and see when we can go.”
That night after dinner I sat and talked with Ben. “Ace, Bennie is on break so you can go whenever you like.”
“Thank you Sir.” I said then headed to my room.
I scheduled the test for the end of the week then went upstairs to the workout room and had a practice session with Bennie. He put me through my paces and didn’t hold back one bit. When we were finished we took a shower then Bennie gave me a good massage.
His hands and fingers were so talented I had to fight to stay awake. When he was done with my back he slapped me on my ass and said, “Turn over love.”
I did as instructed then Bennie continued his massage. I had my eyes closed then I felt something else getting massaged. “Ah love, is this part of ….” I started then Bennie put his finger on my lips.
“Shh, love.” Bennie said softly.
Bennie went back to work on my now very hard dick and before too long, my balls were telling me they were ready to explode. I arched my back and Bennie was rewarded for his efforts. I blew a healthy load into him mouth and he drank down every drop.
I could see a tenting in his undies so I put him on the bed and went to work. All too soon, I got his load. We got cleaned up then cuddled in bed.
The next day I took advantage of Bennie being out of school so I headed over to Andrews to get my BDU’s and Class “A” uniform.
When I walked into clothing sales I was met by a Master Sergeant who looked like he was just biding his time until he could retire. “May I help you?”
I handed him the orders from Gen. Clarity. As soon as he read them he acted like the consummate salesman. “I have everything you need LTC Mason.”
“Thank you Sergeant,” I answered as I looked around. Since I had all my ribbons that was one thing I didn’t have to worry about. My mind went racing when I saw him put a pair of brand new boots on the counter. It had taken me a long time to finally get my old ones shined to where I could see myself in them. I didn’t relish the thought of having to do it again. I ran my fingers over the leather and I knew these would take an eternity to shine. The one thing I still had were my old boots and they still had good tread on the soles so they would pass inspection.
By the time he’s pulled everything I needed the counter was piled high with uniforms and accessories. “Sir, if you’ll take your blouses next door, they’ll do your name tapes and Air Force tapes and sew them on for you.”
“Thank you sergeant,” I replied then took my blouses next door.
When I went in there were several people running sewing machines. I set the blouses on the counter and showed the young lady my orders. “These will be ready in a few minutes Sir.”
“I have to get the rest of my gear so I’ll come back for them.”
She nodded her head then I returned to clothing sales. When I entered, the man had a receipt for me to sign. “This round is on us so take care of your uniforms. The next set you’ll have to pay for.”
I signed the receipt a then lugged the bags out to my car. I went back to get my blouses and the woman had them hanging on coat hangers. “Here you go Sir. No charge.”
“Thank you ma’am,” I replied and took them out to the car. While I was on base I decided to get my ID card made. It was 1:30 so I knew lunch time was over. When I walked in a young airman stepped up and said, “Yeah, what’s you need?’
I handed him my orders and that airman turned green. “Ah, I apologize Sir. If you’ll fill this out I’ll get your ID card processed and made right away.
I leaned over the counter and whispered to him, “Son you need to watch how you speak to people who enter here, you’ll never know who that person is.”
“Yes Sir,” He replied, meekly.
I filled the application out then within fifteen minutes, I had my ID card. My next stop was to the Security office to get a base decal for my car. When I entered I recognized an old face from when I was last stationed here. “ATTENTION” He shouted.
“As you were.” I replied.
“I see you’re a Captain now.” I said shaking his hand.
“What brings you out here Sir?”
“Well, it seems the Air Force in all its infinite wisdom separated me early and they want me to put the time in.”
“That sounds like them,” He replied laughing.
“What can I do for you?”
I handed him my ID card and said, “I need a base sticker for my car.”
“Right away Ace,” he said smiling.
My men all called me Ace and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. I had my decal affixed to the windshield then it was over to post headquarters. I handed the Officer of the Day my orders then asked, “What time do I need to be here?”
Morning formation is at 0500 then it’s time for morning chow at the mess hall. You’ll be Officer of the Day so you’ll be in charge.”
After chow, you’ll be in here. Follow me Sir, and I’ll show you your office.”
Oh great, stuck inside all day. My office was spacious and I saw a name plate on my desk. “What will my duties entail?”
“You’ll be going over arrest reports on anyone that was arrested over night.”
“That’s right up my alley.” I answered.
“Oh?” He started. “What do you do in civilian life?”
I took out my credentials and showed them to the Major. “Holy crap, you’re with the Secret Service?”
I nodded my head then put my credentials away then I was given a guided tour of the facilities. He took me into a secured area where holding cells were. “You’re the only person with the key. You will unlock the door and the cell for a detainee. The keys will be on your desk when you’re on duty.”
“Thank you Major. I’ll be here Saturday bright and early.”
I left post headquarters and returned to the residence. I managed to lug my bags inside then went to work hanging my uniforms up. I heard the bedroom door open. “My god love, how much did you get?”
I laughed. “This is a standard issue for all airmen.”
I opened the wardrobe and began hanging my BDU’s up. I noticed my rank insignia were already on them. I felt it then realized they were held on by Velcro. I would just pull the oak leaf off before they went to the cleaners. This beat the metal ones we used to use. The one thing I didn’t check was my cover. In the bag there was one and it fit perfectly. Bennie was standing there saluting me. “You don’t have to salute me love.”
I returned it then he wrapped his arms around me. “God I love a man in uniform.”
“All men in uniform or just this one?” I teased.
“You really have to ask?” Bennie tossed back.
After I finished hanging up my uniforms, I reached in my wardrobe and dug out my boots. They had a layer of dust on them so I found a soft cloth and wiped them clean. I was amazed at the shine they had. I could still see myself in them so that was one less thing I had to worry about.
“What about those boots love?” Bennie asked.
I put them in the wardrobe and sat down on the bed. “Those will be a backup pair. I don’t have time to sit and spit shine them like these.”
“Man, how long did it take you to do those?”
“I don’t know love. They were always a work in progress so any free time I had, I was working on them.”
“Man, can you shine my shoes for me so they look like those?”
“Not a chance man. I would sit and shine on them for hours at a time while I watched television in my quarters.”
“I’m not going in the military, that’s for sure,” Bennie said.
“How come? Don’t you have the discipline to spit shine your boots?”
“I do, but I can’t see spending hours and hours doing the same thing.”
Once you get the base coat on them it’s easy to keep up.”
Bennie smiled. “Yeah but how long does it take to get the base coat on?”
“That all depends.” I replied as I pulled out the polish and started on my new boots.
“On what?” He asked.
“Sit and watch.”
I wrapped the rag tightly around two fingers and dipped them into the soft polish and went to work. While I was doing this, I flipped on some music and went to work.
I was working and singing then I heard a knock on the door. “Come in.” I shouted.
Ben came in. “Guys, it’s time for dinner.”
“Ooops, sorry. I guess I lost track of the time.”
“Are you a recruit?” Ben asked.
“No sir, everyone has to shine their boots. Officers don’t get them pre-shined.”
I set the boot down then washed my hands and got ready for dinner. After dinner I was working on my boots when my cell rang. “Mason.”
“Ace it’s Carl and we have a problem.”
“What’s wrong son?” I asked
“It’s Timmy. He’s crying and telling us he doesn’t want to go to school. He’s with Dad right now but he can’t get Timmy to open up. I really think something is wrong.”
This was really unusual behavior for him. Both boys loved school so for this to pop up out of the blue didn’t make sense. “Do you want me to come over?”
“Please Ace, we really need to know what’s going on.”
“Alright son, I’ll be over as quick as I can.”
“Thanks Ace,” Carl replied then ended the call.
I knew Bennie would want to come with me because he and Carl are really good friends and he really loved the boys. Bennie was in his room so I went out to the dining room hoping I could catch Ben.
He was having a cup of coffee when I entered. “Sir, I have a little problem and need to go out.”
“What is it Ace?”
“Carl Matthews called and Timmy is saying he doesn’t want to go back to school.”
“Did this just start?”
“Apparently so.” I answered.
“Alright Ace.”
“I’m going to take Bennie with me too because he and Carl are really good friends.”
“That’s fine, I’ll see you when you get back and please keep me informed.”
“I will Sir.” I replied then went to my room. I put my vest on and got my weapon then went over to Bennie’s room.
He looked up and knew I was heading out. “Where are you going love?”
“Come on love.”
Bennie tossed the covers off him and put his shoes on then we were off. We took the elevator down to the ground floor and we pick up Tonka. “Where are we going?”
“Over to the Matthews.”
“Cool, I’ve missed seeing Carl and Jake.”
“This isn’t a social call baby.”
“Oh, what’s wrong?”
It’s Timmy, he saying he don’t want to go back to school.”
“Why? He loves school.” Bennie asked.
“I don’t know love, that’s why we’re going over there. I hope I can get Timmy to tell me what’s going on.”
We left the residence for the drive over to the Matthew’s house. When we arrived, Bennie and I went to the front door and rang the bell. Carl was right there. “Come in Ace.”
“How’s Timmy?” I asked
“He’s still saying he’s not going to school.” Carl answered.
“Is he still crying?”
“A little, he’s up in his room with Billy.”
“OK, let’s go up and see him.”
“Maybe he’ll tell you what’s going on,” Carl said as we climbed the stairs.”
We stopped at his door and listened. “Billy, I’m not going back.”
“Why Timmy, you love school.”
“I hate it now.”
I gently opened the door and I had a 9 year old flying into my arms. “Uncle Ace.”
I took him over to Carl’s room and sat down on the bed. Carl went downstairs so we could talk in private. “What’s wrong little one?”
I had him facing me. He started to answer as his bottom lip started quivering. Then he buried his face into my shoulder and broke down again.
I started comforting him by rubbing his back and caressing his hair. “Let it out son.” I said softly.
He finally got his emotions under control then he could talk. “I hate school. I’m never going back there.”
“What is it? Is someone picking on you?”
He shook his head. “No, it’s not that.”
I was confused. “Alright son, then what is it?”
He started shaking his head again. His bottom lip started quivering again so I pulled him against my chest and rubbed his back.”
I felt the bed shake then I looked and Bennie was sitting beside us. He rubbed Timmy’s hair then Timmy sat up and saw Bennie. He jumped over to his lap as my love held him tightly. “What is it love bug?”
“I c…can’t Bennie.” Timmy said in soft whisper.
“Baby, is someone trying to do something bad to you?”
Timmy sat up and looked into Bennie’s eyes. They had a staring contest for several minutes until Timmy’s bottom lip started quivering again then he started crying again. His wail was breaking my heart so I had the answer. I only needed to know who was doing this.
Bennie rubbed his back and talked softly to him and helped get Timmy’s emotions under control. “Who is trying to hurt you baby?” Bennie asked.
Timmy shook his head again. Bennie looked over to me then went back to Timmy. “Is it your teacher?”
Timmy gasped and just sat there not saying anything then his looked down and shook his head.
“Then what is it?” Bennie asked again. “You can tell us anything. You know we love you and will always protect you.”
I could see the wheels turning in Timmy’s head. “Will you really protect me Uncle Ace?”
I reached my arms out and he slid over to my lap. I leaned down and kissed his button nose. “Cross my heart and hope to die,” I answered.
That brought a smile to his face. Bennie got Timmy to look at him. “Now, who is this teacher?”
Timmy stuck his thumb into his mouth and wouldn’t answer. Bennie reached up and removed it. Timmy took a deep breath. “It’s Mr. James.”
Bennie smiled and kissed him on the cheek. “How long has this been going on?”
“It started before the break. He wanted me to stay after class then he pulled me onto his lap. He started holding me like you do Uncle Ace then his hands went between my legs. I told him to stop then he held me tighter and started rubbing my dink. I finally managed to get down then told him I was going to tell my daddy.”
“He told me if I did I’d be with my Daddy.”
I could see blood in Bennie’s eyes. “No one will ever hurt you again,” Bennie said in a deep growl.
“How can you protect me?”
I had Timmy look at me. “Don’t you worry about that. Uncle Ace has lots of friends and we’ll protect you.”
Timmy began to relax then I realized I had to talk to Cal and Judy. I slid Timmy onto Bennie’s lap then stood up. “Where are you going?”
“I’m not leaving sweetie. I have to talk to your mommy and daddy.”
“NO please.”
“Love bug we have to,” Bennie started. “They need to know this. They won’t be mad at you.”
Timmy started nodding his head. “Mr. James said mommy and daddy would send me away and put me in an orphanage.”
“Haven’t they always been there for you?” Bennie asked.
Timmy nodded his head. “Yeah.”
“So they will be now, too.” Bennie added.
Timmy hopped down and took my hand as we headed for the stairs. Carl was waiting by the door and Timmy jumped into his arms. “Are you alright little bro?”
He nodded his head. “Yeah, I am now.”
Carl gave him a kiss on the cheek and set him on his feet. We headed downstairs and went into the living room. Cal looked up and saw us. “Ace, thanks for coming over.” Cal said as Timmy ran and jumped onto Cal’s lap.
“I’m sorry Daddy,” Timmy said through another round of tears.
“It’ll be alright son.” Timmy cried himself out then he sat up and told everything to Cal and Judy. I don’t know who cried more, Timmy or Judy.
“Ace how will you get this monster?” Cal asked.
Not to worry, I will be at the school when it lets out in the afternoon.
“How, when the other kids see you, they’ll be buzzing like little bees.”
“Humm, good point.” I replied. “It’s not like when we were at Exeter.”
“If I had a layout of the school, it might be easier.”
“I can draw,” Timmy said and ran upstairs.
He came back town with a big pad and some pencils and laid down on the floor and went to work. Judy got me a cup of coffee while Timmy was drawing. I couldn’t see his work but he was determined to get it right. I had finished my drink when Timmy popped up and brought it over to me. “Here it is Uncle Ace.”
I looked at it and he had a good drawing of the school’s layout. He had a drawing of his classroom included. “As you can see, there is a back door in the room. It leads out to the playground. Everyone leaves the classroom by that door too.”
‘That could be a point of entry,’ I thought to myself as I looked at the sketch. “Good job son,” I said as I gave him a big hug.
I decided to tell Timmy part of my plan. “Look now, I don’t want you afraid when we make our move. Uncle Ace will be dressed in black.”
I could see Timmy smiling. “Oh, are you going to be like a Ninja?”
“Sort of,” I said smiling. “I’ll also have a mask over my face.”
“That’s OK, I know your eyes.”
I ran my finger down his nose causing him to giggle.
I looked at the clock and it was getting late. I got Timmy upstairs and into bed. “I’ll be seeing you on Monday. Now don’t be afraid or let on that I’ll be there.”
Timmy wrapped his little arms around me and hugged me tightly. “I won’t. I love you Uncle Ace.”
I kissed his nose and smiled. “I love you too squirt.”
Timmy giggled as I tucked the boys in so they could get some sleep then Bennie and I returned to the residence. Bennie took me by the hand and led me to his room. He sat down on the bed and looked up at me. “Alright baby, how are you going to get this bastard?”
I had to think for a moment then I got an idea. I pulled my cell out and called Dylan. “Masters.”
“Hey bud, can you come up to the residence?”
“Sure, I’ll be right up,” Dylan answered then he ended the call.
“I will run this by Dylan. He always can come up with a plan.”
“Good, that prick needs to be in jail for a long time.”
I don’t disagree love but I really want to know what this guy is doing.”
Bennie and I had been talking then my cell rang. “Mason.”
“Ace, where are you?”
“Meet me in the dining room.” I said.
“Alright, I’m here just so you know.”
I ended the call then went out to the dining room and met with Dylan. “What’s up bud?” Dylan asked.
“We have a little problem that I’m going to need your expertise with.”
“I’m all ears so spill it,” Dylan replied as I sat down with a cup of coffee.”
“Well, it seems Timmy’s teacher is hitting on him and trying to get into his pants.”
“Holy shit Ace.”
“Yeah, that’s about what I said too. But now we have to come up with a way to protect Timmy without us actually being there with him.”
I saw the wheels turning in Dylan’s head. “Humm, I have a few ideas.”
“OK, let’s have ‘em.”
“Well one is getting eyes into the classroom.”
“Good idea, how we going to do that?”
“Well, I have a guy who can put a camera in the ceiling over the teacher’s desk.”
I was listening intently but his idea would require a warrant and I didn’t know if we had enough evidence for a judge to issue one. “Nice idea bud but we’d need a warrant to install the camera.”
“Yeah, I realize that so here is another idea. We can wire Timmy.”
Now here was a viable solution. “I like it, keep talking.”
“We put a camera on Timmy and we can watch him during the day. I can have my team at the school ready to move in on a moment’s notice.”
“Are you sure your vehicles won’t draw attention to the neighbors to the point they’ll call Metro PD?”
“Nope, I have those bases covered.”
“Alright, you’ve sold me. Now I just have to sell this to Ed so I can get the gear to put on Timmy.”
Dylan smiled. “If you can’t I can.”
“Relax, Ed is familiar with Timmy and Billy so I think he’ll go for it.”
“Good. I think a button cam would be the best thing for this operation.”
“My thoughts exactly.” The button cam was small and didn’t have a lot of bulk so no one would know he had it on. “I’ll talk to Ed in the morning then get it over to the Matthew’s.”
Dylan and I had worked out the logistics then we went our separate ways. I went to my room and sent an email to Ed letting him know I needed the button cam and why I needed it so when I called him, he wasn’t in the dark.
Once that was done I joined my lover in his room. He was in bed watching the television so I stripped and joined him. I could tell he wasn’t really paying attention to the TV so I drew him into a close cuddle.
“Did you come up with a way to protect him?” Bennie mumbled.
I kissed his cheek. “Yes I did love.”
“How are you going to do it?”
“I’m going to get a button cam to put on Timmy’s shirt.”
“Tomorrow?” Bennie asked.
“Yeah.” I answered.
“Uh, don’t forget, you have to play GI Joe tomorrow.”
Shit, he was right. “Thanks baby, I got so wrapped up with Timmy, I clean forgot about it.”
I went back over to my room and sent Dylan an email telling him to pick up the cam and get it over to the Matthew’s house.
I set a BDU uniform out and my boots so I could quickly get dressed. I was about to go back to Bennie’s room when he came in. “What time do you have to get up?”
“I have to be at Andrews by 0500 so I’ll have to be up around 0400.”
Bennie rolled his eyes. “Tell me you can do this without having to wake me.”
I went over and kissed my lover. “Yeah I can.”
“OK now let’s get some sleep.”
I didn’t need another invitation so I joined him in bed. Bennie turned off the light and we drifted off to sleep.
To be continued...
