Chapter 45

When I went into Bennie’s room, he was already out like a light. I went into my room and got some clean clothes and used the bathroom then returned to his room. I slipped into bed quietly so I wouldn’t wake him then closed my eyes. I had just gotten comfortable when I felt my lover’s arms around me. That was the last thing I remembered until morning.

Bennie had to shake me awake as I went to sleep with a bevy of thoughts going through my head. When I finally woke up, Bennie was looking at me. “You look rough babes.”

I yawned then stretched, “That good, huh?”

“You must have had a rough night because you tossed and turned a lot.”

Now I felt bad. “Sorry baby, I didn’t mean to wake you up.”

He sat beside me and gave me a kiss. “You didn’t but it was hard holding on to you. Now, what’s going on?”

Bennie could read me like a book as I could read him when he had something on his mind. “It’s nothing, I just have some things to sort out.”

“Does this have anything to do with Ed retiring?”

My jaw dropped open. “How did you hear about that?”

“I am the President’s son,” He said with a little laugh.

“OK, how much of the meeting did you hear?”

Bennie’s look gave him away. “Oh, just a little.” He was grinning like a Cheshire cat. “I also know you’ll be his replacement.”

I had to take a shower so I started getting undressed and we talked at the same time. “How do you feel about that?” I asked grabbing my clean undies as I headed for the bathroom.

I started the shower then turned around and Bennie was behind me in the buff. “Ace, you enjoy being an agent.”

I stepped in and Bennie joined me. I started lathering him up then continued. “Yes I do baby, but you’re my reason for living.”

Bennie kissed me when he heard that. “I love you too baby but I know we’ll always be together. Are you worried about having to have another agent guard me if you have to go with Dad out of town?”

God I loved him. He was reading me better than I was. I just nodded my head. “Yeah I am baby. There are only several people I trust enough to be with you.”

“Well, there is Pete and Johnny.” He said as I rinsed the soap off his body.

“Yes but Johnny is on your Dad’s team so you know what that means.”

“I know love,” Bennie said as I dried him off.

We went into the bedroom and got dressed then there was a knock on the door. Ben stuck his head in. “Breakfast is getting served.”

“OK Dad, we’re coming.” Bennie said as he hurried over and hugged him.

“Sorry Sir, Bennie were talking about a few things.”

Ben could read me like a book. “Is there something wrong Ace?”

I tried to blow it off. “No Sir, nothing’s wrong.”

Ben shooed Bennie out to the dining room. “Ace, I can read you like a book. Now, what is it?”

“Well, I’m just leery about becoming the agent in charge. There are a lot of responsibilities that come with the job but you know my first one is to Bennie.”

“You feel you’d be neglecting him?” Ben asked as we walked to the dining room.

“In a way Sir,” I started. Bennie’s done well with Johnny filling for me and today Pete will be protecting him but when we’re away with you, our priorities are to you and the security detail. I guess Bennie would be on my mind.”

“Ace you are the logical candidate for the position and someone who has proven themselves time and time again.”

I smiled when I heard that. “If you mean getting shot means I’m a good agent, I can think of other ways I’d have preferred to do that.”

“I know Ace and it gave everyone here a real scare but that’s all in the past now. Now, should I ask Evelyn to find someone else for that position?”

I didn’t know what to do. Bennie said it was alright to take the job but I still can’t feel like I’d be turning my back on him every time I had get the team ready for a trip.”

“Can I get back to you on that, Sir?” I asked.

“Alright Ace,” There is still time.” Ben said as he and I went into the dining room then sat down to enjoy their breakfast.

Over at NCIS Headquarters, the agents were about to start another day. Dusty was in his office and was about to check his correspondence when there was a knock on his door. He looked up as JR came in visibly shaken. “What’s up baby?”

He was about to speak when suddenly there was a loud bang on his door. He looked up and Marshall was stepping inside. As he started to close the door, a hand stopped it and soon Dizzy and Sergio were all standing in front of him. Dusty was still sitting behind his desk and his team looked like a lynch mob. He was about to speak when JR came over and handed him a piece of paper. “This was in my email this morning.”

Dusty looked at it then quickly looked in his in box. He too found an email from an unknown source. He opened it and then printed it out. The one good thing was there wasn’t a hidden virus imbedded in the email.

He looked at the group standing there. “I take it you all received one of these?”

Dizzy stepped forward. “Yes and I don’t appreciate this one bit.”

JR came over then. “Look, I’ve been trying to trace who sent it but whoever did, is good. It’s from a disposable email account and he used a proxy server. The one thing is he managed to send it directly to our email accounts here at NCIS which means, he has to be an agent.”

Marshall was just standing there remaining quiet all this time. Dusty looked up at him. “OK Marshall, what’s on your mind too?”

“Look, some months ago I might have secretly agreed with this but not now. If this is how things are going to be, I don’t know if I can stick around.”

The email read. “FAGS ARE NOT WELCOMED AT NCIS.”

Dusty saw Sergio. “Dr. Valez, I’d like to hear from you. I see you holding a piece of paper so is it fair to say, you received one of these too?”

“I did, ole boy,” Sergio started. “Now while prefer the opposite sex, it’s none of my business what someone else does in the privacy of their own bedrooms. I do find this sort of thing quite distressing.”

“Dizzy, do you have anything else to say?” Dusty asked.

“I never thought I’d say this but I agree with Marshall.” She said matter of factly.

Dusty was in a quandary. He felt his team was about to walk and to him, this was a straw that pushed him over the line too. “Look, promise me you won’t do anything right now. I think I’ll put in a call to the SecNav.”

Dusty picked up his phone and called Kevin Clark’s office. “Secretary Clark please, Director Dusty Moore speaking.”

“One minute Director Moore,” A voice said.

A minute later a voice said, “Dusty how are you?”

“I’ve been better Mr. Secretary.”

“I take it this isn’t a social call is it?” Kevin asked.

Dusty put the call on speaker. “No sir, it isn’t. I’m faxing over an email my team along with Ms. Mayfield and Dr. Valez received this morning.”

Dusty could hear in the background as the fax was arriving in Kevin's office. “Who sent his Dusty?”

JR took over. “Sir, this is Agent Carl.”

“Go ahead Agent Carl.”

“Sir whoever did this has to be an agent. They knew the protocols how to send an outside email to the agents here and he’s also very smart when it comes to hiding his tracks.”

“How so,” Kevin asked.

“He used a proxy server so I was unable to track his IP address.”

“I see,” Kevin said.

Dusty took over then. “Sir, with all due respect, I can’t work in an environment like this. My personal life is mine and I’ll be damned if anyone is going to tell me how to run it.”

“Calm down now Dusty.” Kevin said trying to calm an almost irate Dusty down.

“I can’t Sir,” Dusty said. “I’m a good agent.”

“I know you are so please let me look into this and see what I can find out.” Kevin said hoping to appease his director.

“As you wish Sir,” Dusty said then he ended the call.

When he ended the call, everyone was looking at him. He put his head into his hands and tried to think. JR went over to him and rubbed his shoulders trying to get him to relax. Everyone left the office and tried to get back to their routines but it was difficult. “Babes, what are you thinking?”

“I’m thinking about a meeting we had a while back when Kevin told the President about his retirement.”

“What was that love?” JR asked as his work finally started paying off as Dusty was finally relaxed.

“Remember when we thought Simon was going to replace Kevin?”

“Don’t remind me,” JR said as he stopped then rubbed the kinks out of his hands.

“Well, I need to call Evelyn Morgan to see of her offer is still there.”

“Offer,” JR asked.

“Yes, Evelyn said there would be positions for us with the service.”

“Should I let you make the call in private?” JR asked deciding not to enquire further.”

“Please love,” Dusty started. “I’m trying to decide how to broach this subject.”

JR leaned down and kissed him on the cheek. “Just ask her and tell her why, if you think that’ll be needed.”

“I’m sure she will want to know. The last thing I want is for this to follow us.”

“I know love,” JR said as he opened the door. “I’ll see if I can find something I missed earlier.”

Dusty hit the speed dial for Evelyn then waited, “Director Morgan’s office.”

“Director Morgan please, this is Director Moore from NCIS calling.”

“One moment please.” The voice said.

“Dusty, what can I do for you?” Evelyn asked in a chipper voice.”

Dusty gathered his thoughts. “Well Evelyn, I was wondering if the offer you’d made to me and my team was still open.”

“Yes it is, is there something going on?” She asked concerned.

“Well yes and it’s affected everyone.” Dusty started.

“This doesn’t sound good Dusty. May I ask what it is?”

Dusty tried to remain professional. “Well, it seems some jerk of an agent decided to send all of us a quite rude email.”

“Oh dear,” Evelyn said. “May I ask what it said?”

“Evelyn, I’d rather not considering I’m speaking to a lady.”

“I understand. Now, yes the slots are still available. I hope you don’t mind but I took the liberty into looking at your files and nothing jumped out at me that makes any further investigation necessary.”

“Thank you Evelyn.”

“When will you be coming over to us?

“After I talk with the SecNav again,” Dusty started. The bad thing about this is there is no way to find out who sent it. JR has been working on it for several hours.”

“Well, bring it with you and you can work on it here. I have a fair idea, based on what you’re not saying, what this could be about and I’ll tell you now, stuff like that will not be tolerated here.”

“Thank you Evelyn. I really look forward you joining the Secret Service.”

Dusty ended the call then sat and thought about how to resign. He was lost in thought when there was a knock on his door. The door opened and in walked Kevin. Dusty quickly stood. “Relax Dusty,” Kevin said as he walked over and shook his hand. “Your phone call has me deeply concerned that someone within the agency is harassing you and your team along with our support staff.”

“Well Sir, it looks like they’ve won because none of us can work under these conditions.”

“Suppose we can find out who it is?” Kevin asked.

“Let me ask you this then, would it really change anything? I mean this is the twenty first century and being gay is not a crime. I don’t feel I have to justify myself to anyone as to my personal life nor would I ever do that to any other agent.”

“I agree totally with you Dusty. So then I take this to mean you plan on leaving NCIS.”

Dusty looked down then back to his boss. “I’m afraid so Sir. The others feel they can’t work under these conditions either.”

Kevin took a deep breath. “I understand but I hate losing good people. Can I ask where you’re going because I don’t think you’d leave and not have something lined up?”

“Well, I won’t be going far. All of us have positions with the Secret Service.”

“My loss is their gain. I know Director Morgan will be getting some very fine agents. It’s a shame I’m retiring now.”

“Yes Sir it is. It’s sad because I don’t know how seriously your successor would take this problem.”

“I’d like to think he’d take it as seriously as I am. Just because I’m retiring, don’t think I won’t be looking into this matter hard. I’d like to get this resolved before I leave my position.”

“Sir, I hope you can find out who is behind this and make an example out of him.”

“Trust me on this, he’ll be made an example of just what NCIS does not stand for or tolerate.”

“Thank you Sir,” Dusty said handing him a piece of paper. “It’s been a real pleasure working with you. I just wish I was leaving under different circumstances.”

“So do I, Dusty. This is not how I want my legacy to end. You formed a good relationship between NCIS and the Secret Service.”

Dusty smiled. “Thank you, maybe it can continue under the new SecNav.”

“Time will tell.” Kevin said then shook Dusty’s hand accepting his resignation. “Will you be finishing out the day?”

“If that is what you want Sir. All of our cases are now closed.”

“Then you’re free to leave any time you like. I’ll see to it your vacation time and comp time are in your final check.”

“Thank you Sir,” Dusty said handing him his credentials and weapon.

“Don’t forget to clear with Human Resources.”

“I won’t Sir.” Dusty replied then started packing his desk.

By 9, everyone had done what they had to and were now on their way over to Evelyn’s office. Her secretary let her know she had visitors. When she stepped out she was greeted by a small crowd. “Good lord, I wasn’t expecting all of you. Welcome, please follow me.”

She led them over to Human Resources where they all received their new credentials. Carolyn Mayfield was taken to the lab and introduced as the new supervisor. Dizzy was taken aback by it. “Ma’am, I normally work alone.”

“I know Ms. Mayfield but we’d like to you lend your expertise to the staff here. You’re a brilliant scientist with a lot to offer. I think you’ll be a great asset to us.”

Dizzy nodded her head. “I’ll do my very best Ma’am.”

Sergio was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office and he got a bit of a shock. “It looks like I have my work cut out for me Madam Director.”

“Our ME’s office needed a full revamping and I couldn’t resist the chance to get someone of your quality and knowledge.”

“I’ll get started right away.” Sergio said.

Evelyn looked at the others. “Come with me please.” She said as she led the others to the armory where Marshall, JR and Dusty were issued their service weapons. “You’ll have to qualify before I can officially release you.”

“Is there someone who can qualify us?” Dusty asked.

The range safety officer came over. “Are these the rookies?”

That statement rubbed Marshall the wrong way. “Rookies?” He asked.

Dusty saw the man smile then gave Ellis his usual wake up call. “He’s pulling your chain. Now you have one chance to qualify so don’t mess it up.”

“If you’ll follow me please,” The safety officer said leading them to the firing lines.

Evelyn stood outside and watched her three newest agents. Twenty five minutes later, all three had qualified. When they came outside, Dusty looked at Marshall. “Why in the hell couldn’t you do that before? I’ve never seen you shoot as well as you did in there today.”

Marshall was smiling. “I guess I didn’t want to let you down boss.”

The men cleaned their weapons then the four of them were off again. Their next stop was the White House and again Marshall was tongue tied. “Is this where we’ll be working?”

“Is that a problem Agent Ellis?” Evelyn asked.

“Oh no Ma’am, I just didn’t expect this to be my first assignment.”

“Hey Ellis, you can always be checking manhole covers along the convoy route.” JR said fighting to keep a straight face.”

“Very funny JR, very funny.” Marshall said as everyone was now laughing.

Evelyn stopped at the back gate and showed her credentials. The guard asked to see the others so after everyone had been properly identified, it was onto the West Wing.

When they entered, the first person they saw was Johnny and Tonka. Ellis froze in his tracks. “Holy shit, what’s that?”

Johnny led the dog over so he could smell the big agent. “Relax, he’s the resident canine.”

Tonka gave Marshall his seal of approval then sat and barked. After he’d shook his paw Marshall was able to relax as Tonka went about his business. “Does he do this with everyone?”

“Yep,” Johnny replied. “Dusty what are you all doing here?”

“Umm well,” Dusty started stammering.

JR reached into his pocket and took out his new credentials and proudly showed them to his friend. “We’re Secret Service now.”

Johnny smiled then shook his hand. “Congratulations and welcome to the team.”

Just then I walked up. “Hi guys, what are you doing here?”

“Ace, meet the three newest agents.” Evelyn said.

Ace went over and gave all his friends a hug. “That’s great.” I said as an idea just hit me. “Evelyn, can I have a word with you alone please?”

“Sure,” She said. “Agent Hawks, can you take our new agents to get their White House credentials, please?”

Johnny led the agents to their office. “What’s on your mind Ace?”

“Well, it’s about the new Special Agent in Charge. I think I have the perfect person.”

“Dusty,” She asked.

“Who better,” I said. “He’s earned the President’s respect and he’s experienced.”

“What about the other agents here?” Evelyn asked.

I looked at her. “They’ll have to get over it. I was slated for that slot so the only one that might be upset would be Johnny but I know him well enough that he won’t. We’ll need to get Johnny and Pete over to driving school so they can learn to handle the beast.”

“You don’t think Dusty should be driving?”

I thought for a moment. “Maybe your right, it’ll be Dusty and Johnny. I just hope JR can get used to not working with him every day.”

“I don’t think that’ll be a problem,” Evelyn said. “He seems to be an easy going agent so he’ll work well with just about anyone. I know someone else who’ll be glad they’re here too.”

“That’s right, and Bennie doesn’t know about this yet now this gives me another back up in case I’m tied up.” I said as I went over to Johnny. “How come Tonka is here?”

“I thought it best he stay here because I know he and Pete get along but if something should happen, we don’t know if Tonka would listen to Pete or not.”

“Good move.” I said then looked at Evelyn. “When is this press conference going to take place?”

She came over to me. “I don’t think we’re going to have it. Ed isn’t one for media fanfare so I’m not going to hold it. He’ll be getting the Secretary's Award for Exemplary Service but we can do that in private.”

“Do you think the President could present it to him?” I asked.

“I’ve already spoken to him and he said he’d be glad to.” Evelyn replied.

I smiled. “Then we can let him know about the newest agents.”

“The only one he hasn’t met is Ellis. Now, what do you think about Dusty as head of the team?”

“How about I talk to Dusty?” Evelyn asked.

“OK, he might say no at first but do you want me to broach this with him?”

“Well, you two have a good working relationship so he might be more receptive to the idea if it came from you.”

“Alright, I’ll talk to him.” I said then went to find my friend. “Dusty, can I have a word with you please buddy?”

Dusty came over. “What’s on your mind?”

“I’ll cut to the chase my friend. Ed is retiring and the position of Special Agent in Charge will be open.”

“But you’re…” Dusty started when I put my finger on his lips.

“Yes, I know I’m next in line but it would also take me away from my duties with Bennie. You’re an experienced agent, you’ve led a team and you have great command skills so we’re thinking you’d be a good fit for Ed’s old position.”

“What about the other agents?” Dusty asked.

“That’s their problem and theirs to deal with. Remember man, I’m still Assistant Special Agent in Charge so I’ll always have your back.”

I could see my friend mulling it over in his mind. “Alright Ace, I’ll accept it. Can I still use JR here at the White House?”

I nodded my head. “Hell yeah man, we need his expertise here. Now let’s go tell Evelyn.”

I looked at my watch then saw the time. It was almost noon so if Johnny and I hurried we could get to the school before lunch. I found Johnny and reminded him of the self defense class. I told Evelyn I had to get to school then left.

Johnny and I got there just as the bell rang. We headed towards Bennie’s class and saw him and Pete heading towards us. “It’s about time.” Bennie said chastising me.

“Sorry love, it was quite a hectic morning.” I said as we headed for the cafeteria. “So how did you enjoy the day Pete?”

“A little boring killing time when Bennie was in class but the kids here seemed to accept me without any problems.”

We walked into the cafeteria and got our lunch. Bennie headed over to where his friends were then Jake started waving his hand. There were several open seats. “Come on Ace, you know you’re welcome here, that goes for you too Pete.”

I sat next to Pete. “Looks like they have accepted you.”

Pete turned red. “Well, I was just trying to be me.”

I patted him on the back and leaned close. “We like the new you a lot better than the old one. I know Bennie does too.”

“Thanks for giving me this chance, I’m not about to go back to those days.”

We finished eating before the others so Johnny stayed with Bennie so I could talk to Pete as we headed outside. “Pete, I wanted to let you know 3 new agents were hired today.”

“Agents come and go all the time buddy, so why are you telling me this?”

“Well, the new agents you know.” I said trying to ease into things.

“Oh, who are they?”

“Director Moore from NCIS.” I said as Pete’s mouth dropped open.

“Why, what happened at NCIS?” Pete asked.

“I don’t know all the details but his team will be a great asset to us.”

“That’s for sure. For a Navy cop, he impressed the hell out of me, so I’ll ask again, why tell me?”

“You know Ed is retiring.” I started and Pete was nodding his head. “Well, Dusty will step in as the new Special Agent in Charge.”

“I was wondering if you’d take the position because I know how close you and Bennie are. Now look Ace, I maybe straight but your private life is just that to me, private. Bennie trusts me so how can I say or do anything to destroy that trust.”

Pete wiped his eyes. “So you have no problems with Dusty being in charge?”

Pete shook his head. “Hell no, I respect the man.”

“Thanks Pete,” I said shaking his hand. Johnny and I will be with Bennie for the rest of the day so you can head back to the residence.”

“Alright Ace, I’m sure I’ll be caught up on everything when I get back to the West Wing.”

“I’m sure you will Pete.” I said. “I better get back inside.”

Pete got into the charger then I headed back to the cafeteria. Just then I saw everyone coming out. I caught up with Bennie and his friends then we all went to the locker room. I brought my bag in then set it on the bench. Bennie looked at the size of it. “What do you have in there?”

“I brought the protective gear so no one would get hurt.”

“What do you have in mind?”

“Just a little demonstration.” I said starting to change.

“You and Johnny,” Bennie asked.

“Yeah,” I replied.

“Umm, what about Tonka? I don’t know how he’ll react to seeing the two of you going at it.”

“Keep him with you,” I started. “If he starts getting antsy, I can talk to him.”

We got changed then headed into the gym. When all the boys were there I started the class. “Hello, a lot of you already know me and Special Agent Hawks. I’ve talked with the school and two days a week, we’re going to have some self defense classes. These are not designed for you to become aggressors but more how to defend yourself should you be attacked by a bully or someone else. Are there any questions?”

Bobby raised his hand. “Who is going to teach this?”

“I will along with Bennie.” I answered then motioned for Johnny to come up. “Johnny and I are going to put on a little demonstration for you.”

Johnny and I put our protective gear on then took our positions on the mat. Johnny made the first move then it was on. We dropped each other then quickly recovered with no one really gaining an advantage. After about twenty minutes we were both sweating and I hit a wet spot on the mat and Johnny took full advantage of it and put me down hard. I was dazed and he made the move to cuff me.

At this point, I patted his leg then we both stood up ending the demonstration. I got a towel and wiped the sweat off my face and neck. After we got toweled off one of the boys stood up. “I thought this was just a demonstration. Why did you take advantage of Ace?”

“He didn’t take advantage of me really,” I started. “He saw and opening and took it. When you are defending yourself or we’re trying to bring in a suspect, they’re not going to give us a break. They’re going to do anything and everything they can to either beat you or get away so when you can gain the advantage, you do it.”

The coach came up and told us to hit the showers. Johnny was hot and sweaty. “Ace would they mind if I showered too?”

“Not at all man, come on.” I said as I quickly stripped and grabbed a clean towel then got a fast shower.

All the boys didn’t mess around so they could be dressed and ready when the bell rang. When the bell rang, Johnny, Bennie, Tonka and I headed out for the Hummer to return to the residence.

When we arrived, Bennie headed upstairs while Johnny took Tonka to find a tree. I went into my office and saw Dusty and Ed going over a few things. “Hi Ace, how’s Bennie?” Dusty asked.

“He’s fine. I think he still has his term paper to finish and possibly some exams to study for.”

Ed looked at me. “Isn’t Saturday Bennie’s birthday?”

“Yes it is. Now I’m going to have a job for one of you.”

“Oh?” Dusty asked.

“Yeah, I need someone to keep Bennie occupied while I manage to get some of his friends here and hidden.”

“Hidden?” Dusty asked. “What are you planning and does the President know about this?”

“Umm, well not yet but I’m sure I can swing it with him.” I said turning a little red because I’d forgotten to talk to him about it.

“How long and how many people are you planning on hiding?” Ed asked.

“Just four,” I said. “Jake Wheeler, Carl Matthews, Joey Livingston and Bobby Brinkman, they’re friends of Bennie’s from school.”

“I think I can keep him occupied.” Dusty said. “Just let me know what time they’ll be here so I can take him out.”

“I’ll do that.” I said. “I’ll call their parent’s tonight and give them all the details.”

I looked out the window and saw a number of agents just standing around. Ed saw this too. “I wonder what is going on out there.”

“They’re not working, that’s for sure.” I said as I stepped outside. “What’s going on here?”

“Agent Mason, what’s with these new agents? We have a full staff here.” One of the men asked.

I looked at him. “Do we? Are you privy to every agent who is assigned here?”

He looked down. “Well no but I haven’t heard of anyone leaving.”

“And you won’t.” I said rather firmly. “The director is the one who is responsible for the hiring and everyone here should know that.”

“Well, I also heard Agent Miller is retiring.”

“That’s right, he is so what’s the problem?”

“Who will take his place? You’re next in line.”

“I know and I’ve decided not to take it. My responsibility is to Bennie, the President’s son.”

“So who will take Ed’s place?”

I turned and went into the office and came out with Dusty. “Special Agent Moore will be the Special Agent in Charge. Many of you know him already, others here haven’t met him but he is a fine agent. I expect every one of you to give him your total support otherwise you’ll be seeing a side of me, you wish you hadn’t.”

The men looked at Dusty. “He’ll have our support.”

“Good because we’re all part of a team here and protecting the President is our primary responsibility. Now, don’t you all have some work to do?”

The men returned to work and I was about to go back to my office when I saw Ben coming. I walked over to him. “Sir, do you have a minute?”

“Sure Ace, walk with me to the residence.”

We headed towards the residence as I started to tell him of my plans. “Sir, as you know, Saturday is Bennie’s birthday. I was planning a little surprise for him.”

“Oh?” Ben asked surprised.

“Yes Sir, I want to have four of his friends from school come over.”

“How do you plan on that?”

“Well, I’ve talked with Dusty and he said he’d keep him busy. By the way, have you taken him to get his driver’s license yet?”

“Oh man, I’ve been so busy, I haven’t had the time.”

“Doesn’t the DMV now have Saturday hours?”

“They used to but I’m not sure.”

“I’ll check their website,” I said as we walked into the residence.

“OK, just don’t let Bennie know.” Ben asked.

“My lips are sealed Sir.” I said as I headed for my room.

I did a quick site check and sure enough they had Saturday hours which could work to my benefit. I shut down the computer then went to see what Bennie was doing. I quietly opened the door to his room and saw him sitting on his bed with his laptop. I tried the close the door quietly but Bennie saw me then quickly closed the lid. “Uh hi love.”

When he acted like this, I knew what was on his mind so I went over and sat on the edge of the bed. Bennie saw me gazing downward towards his crotch. “Does someone have a problem?”

He wiggled his eyebrows. “Hey, I’m a growing boy, what do you expect?” He said as I was watching then couldn’t resist the view so I reached down and gently squeezed his bulge. “Keep that up and I’ll have to change.”

I let his dick go then quickly changed the subject. “How goes the homework?”

“You really know how to spoil a mood.” Bennie said with a hurt look on his face.

“Baby, the clock is ticking towards finals then graduation.”

“I know baby. I’ve finished my term paper, now I just need someone to read it over.”

I thought for a moment then heard a knock on the door. I went over and JR was standing there. “What’s up man?”

“Not much just got settled in.” He replied.

Bennie caught JR’s statement. “Settled in? Are you living here now?”

JR laughed. “No Bennie, I work here now.”

“What? When? How?” Bennie fired off in succession.

“It’s a long story buddy but Dusty, Marshall and I are now with the Secret Service.”

I was still in the dark about how this came to pass but decided not to push the issue as I knew they would tell me when they felt the time was right. “JR, I was wondering if you could do Bennie a favor.”

“Sure Ace, anything for him.”

“Can you proof read a term paper?” I asked.

“Sure,” JR said smiling.

Bennie opened his laptop and brought the document up. “I’ve read it over several times and I think it’s perfect but I would like an outside opinion.”

Bennie stood up and set the laptop on his desk so JR could start reading. I headed to the door. “I’ll let you two do this; I have a few things to do.”

I went out and found Ben in his office. “Sir, the DMV has Saturday hours. They’re open from 10 until 2.”

“Will that give you enough time?”

“It should,” I said. JR is going over Bennie’s term paper so I’ll be free to make the necessary phone calls.”

“When did you want to have his party? Keeping four people hidden for a long time is going to be hard.”

“Normally, we’ve done his birthday over dinner. Gloria would make him his favorite meal then we’d have a cake for desert. He’d get to invite a few friends over and they would join us for dinner. I think he’ll know something’s up when I take him to the DMV.”

“The car is still at headquarters so all I have to do is get it over here.”

“Who is it registered to?” Ben asked.

“It’s not yet. Evelyn has the title so I guess I should have her get it to you so you can title it in your name and get plates on it.”

“I can take care of that while Bennie is getting his license.”

“I’ll talk with Dusty about getting agents to accompany you. I’ll even let Dusty use the charger that’s been bulletproofed.”

“Alright, I’ll leave those details to you and Dusty.”

I went back to my room and made the phone calls and had everything set. I was happier than I’d ever been because I knew Bennie would get the surprise of his life when he saw his new ride. The only problem was telling him I still had to take him to school. Since the car was bulletproof, maybe I’d let him drive a couple days a week.

Over at the Attorney General’s office, David was reading the report filed by JR. He called his executive assistant. “Adam, can you come to my office?”

Adam walked down to David’s office then went in. “Adam why are we handling a simple child abuse case?”

Adam looked at the information. “If my memory serves me correctly, these boys were victims of abuse by their father and Timmy was forced to defend his little brother who was being brutally raped by his father.”

“Alright but that case was closed, wasn’t it?” David asked.

“It was and blood relatives were found.”

“Alright so again I ask; why are we handling this case?”

“Agent Carl informed me that the woman attempted to influence police because she’s a social worker.”

“Is that supposed to mean anything?” David asked.

“I don’t know but she allegedly has some friends in high places.”

David was thinking. “I’ll make a few calls but if I can’t find out anything, I will send this over to the local prosecutor.”

“Alright, see what you can find out and let me know. If I might suggest, see if Justice has anything on her.”

“I will,” David said as Adam returned to his office.

I was back in my room when my cell rang and I saw it was Adam. “Hey man, what’s up?”

“Not much. I just left David’s office and he wants to send the charges against that social worker back to the local prosecutor.”

“God, I hope the asshole who tried to charge me with murder isn’t getting that case.”

Adam laughed. “Not to worry. I’ve spoken with the District Attorney and he fired that jerk.”

I had to laugh at that too. “I wonder if he still has his law license.”

“From what I was told, the District Bar Association has a huge laundry list of violations against him.”

“Couldn’t happen to a better jerk.” I said still laughing. So why the call?”

“Well, Agent Carl said she had tried to use some influence on a local officer but it didn’t get far and she also made reference to having some high powered friends.”

“She could have just been talking out of her ass to avoid being arrested.”

“Maybe but according to Agent Carl, she was really sure of herself.”

“You want me to do some digging?”

“Could you?” Adam asked.

“I’ll see what I can find. Have you talked to the Justice Department?”

“David is,” Adam answered.

As we were chatting, Adam had to put me on hold because he had another call coming in. When he returned, we were now in a conference call with David. “Hello Agent Mason.” David said.

“Good afternoon David. I take it this isn’t a social call.”

“That’s correct,” He started. “Adam, I made a few inquiries and it seems a local judge is under investigation for some questionable rulings.”

“Does this involve Wanita Jenkins?” Adam asked.

“It does but on face value, the rulings weren’t out of line.”

“Is there enough to bring any charges against him?” I asked.

“No not yet.” David answered. “Now I want to send the Jenkins case back to the local prosecutor but the FBI and the Judicial Review board will be paying very close attention to the case.”

“Do you think the judge will either dismiss the charges or find her not guilty?”

“Based on Agent Carl’s report, I don’t see how that would be possible.”

“Does the local DA know about all of this?” I asked.

“No,” David started. “I didn’t want to alert him to this because we don’t know how many people are involved.”

“I understand. Who was the local officer who made the arrest?”

“That was a Lieutenant Brinkman.” David replied.

“Good,” I started. “I know him and since he was the arresting officer, he’ll be kept in the loop.”

“I’ll notify the DA’s office that this is their case now.”

“Sounds good David.” I said then the call was ended.

Wednesday flew by and that evening Bob called me. “Ace, Bobby told me about Bennie’s party. He wants to know what to get him.”

I knew what Bennie was really into but I couldn’t tell that to Bob. “I’ll leave that up to Bobby,” I said. “Have you heard when Wanita Jenkins is going to be arraigned?”

“Yeah, she’s on the docket for tomorrow.” Ben replied.

“Do you know who is prosecuting?” I asked.

“A guy by the name of William Cutter. I heard he’s a no nonsense guy. Also Judge Lewis is doing the arraignment.”

I knew this would be straight forward. “Let me know what happens, can you?”

“I will Ace,” Bob said. “Will the boys be spending the night?”

I hadn’t thought about that. “I don’t think so but if things change, I’ll let you know.”

I ended the call then got hold of Johnny. He would be taking Bennie to school while I sat in the back of the courtroom of Jenkins’s arraignment.

After dinner, Bennie and I relaxed and watched some television. “Ace, JR said my term paper was great. I didn’t have to redo a thing.”

“Great buddy,” I said smiling. “Back in my day, they didn’t have computers so everything was done on a typewriter.”

“A what?” Bennie asked with an evil smirk on his face.

“Come on, I’m not that old now.” I said defending myself.

Bennie snuggled against me. “I know love, I’m just picking.”

I leaned down and kissed him. “Tomorrow I have to be in court for an arraignment then I’ll be at school. Are you ready for your second self defense class?”

“Yeah I am.” Bennie replied. “Do you think maybe Johnny and I could spar?”

“That would be interesting to see. Johnny is a formidable opponent, he gave me all I could handle.”

“I saw that and his style is different from anything I’ve ever seen before.”

“Are you going to bring your karate gear?” I asked.

“Not yet, I don’t want anyone to know.”

“You don’t think when you and Johnny go at it they won’t figure it out?”

“Well yeah, I suppose.” Bennie said smiling. “But I’ve never flaunted my background.”

“I know love, but you’d worked and trained hard for what you have. I don’t think you’d be flaunting things if you came in wearing your gi.”

“Only if you wear yours.” Bennie said smiling.

“Fair enough,” I said knowing I was in a no win situation.

Since I had to be in court in the morning, I decided to take a shower. I grabbed some clean undies then headed for the bathroom. I got the shower running and there was Bennie in his birthday suit. “Is there room for one more?”

His manhood was pointing out at an angle so I knew what was on his mind. “Sure love, there’s always room for you.”

I tried not to concentrate on my lovers nail but as I was getting undressed, my own tool came to life. “Is something on your mind?”

He came over and planted a kiss on me then started grinding his dick against mine. When he finally broke the kiss I was hotter than a blast furnace. “When you do something like that, it’s hard not to.”

We got in the shower and started cleaning each other’s bodies. Bennie made sure my dick was squeaky clean almost causing me to bust a nut in the process. I washed Bennie’s body and when I came to his cute buns I caressed them as I made sure they were clean. When my finger passed over his hole he pushed back impaling himself on my finger. “Ungh Ace, that feels wonderful.”

This wasn’t how I wanted to start things so I removed my finger then worked to get the shower gel out of his hole. “Hold still sweetie while I get this gel out of you.”

“As long as you put something else in it when we get out.”

Bennie bent over then let his hole relax so I could get the gel out then I cut the water off and got us two towels. Bennie quickly dried himself then jumped onto the bed. While I was drying off I was getting an eyeful of him. He was busy lubricating his hole with several fingers. When I came in he looked at me. “Couldn’t you wait love?”

He shook his head then licked his lips. “No I can’t lover, now come and fill me up.”

This was one time I wasn’t going to stand on ceremony worrying about foreplay. As soon as I got into position Bennie lifted his legs up then slid a pillow under the towel he brought. As soon as my dick touched his hole, he tried to pull me in by grabbing my hips but I locked my back so he wouldn’t take me all in one move. As I slowly entered, I felt the heat of his hole engulf my tool. “God you feel great baby.” I said as my pubes rested against his cheeks.

“So do you love now I want it all,” He hissed at me.

I started going in and out of him as he began to softly moan. As I was going in he reached up and slapped the cheek of my ass letting me know he wanted me to speed up. I gave him all I had then felt my balls start to churn. I looked down and Bennie was busy jacking himself off. I felt his hole clamp down when he fired his first shot on his chest. “I can’t hold it baby.” I said as I fired deep into his love canal.

I fired several volleys as Bennie’s dick was matching me shot for shot. “God lover, I needed that.”

I leaned down and kissed him passionately then started to feel my dick soften. I’m glad Bennie remembered the towel because from what I put in him, he needed it. I pulled the towel up between his legs as my dick slid out of his hole. Bennie hurried to the bathroom then sat on the toilet. He let out a loud fart then expelled my deposit. After Bennie flushed the toilet, I helped him clean up then we returned to the bed and cuddled until we drifted off to sleep.
