We kissed each other and Davey headed upstairs to wake up Jimmy. A lot had been accomplished this morning. I think my relationship with Davey took a positive step forward. I have his love and he has mine. From here, things can only get better. I opened the letter from Dave and Mary. They thought it would be better if Davey stayed with them during the school year and he could stay here during the summer. Dave didn't know it, but we had both come to the same conclusion.

Chapter 4

A New Problem

The week went by very quickly and Bryce was adjusting well in school. I pulled into the driveway and there were my three sons, well almost three, playing in the yard. I had three eager beavers wanting to know how my day was. I filled them in on the day’s events and had decided to go out for dinner on the way home.

I told the boys to take showers and change for dinner. I had just stepped into the shower when I suddenly I realized that I wasn't alone. I felt two arms around my waist and a soft pair of lips kiss me on the cheek. Then I heard a very sensuous voice say "I missed you, Mark."

I turned around and look at my young god and said "I've missed you too." I leaned down and kissed him lightly on the lips. I felt his tongue touch my lips and I opened my mouth to allow it to enter. Our tongues did a dance that I hadn't done in months since before 'Chele died. His tongue was a soft as my wife's and was just as experienced. Suddenly I realized that I had a raging boner. I moved it and knew Bryce had one too. I stepped back and looked at my beauty. It was 4 1/2" fully hard, uncut and perfect. I picked up the soap and began washing my idol. His skin was as soft as a new born baby. As I was finishing, I went to wash his manhood and when I went to retract the skin, it didn't want to move. I gently used the soap to loosen the crust under the skin and it finally eased back. "You need to take better care of this. Do you want me to do this or do you?

"You should finish what you started." Bryce whispered.

I finished washing his dick and said, "You need to keep this clean or you will end up getting circumcised. You'll be sore for a month if they take a little off the top. Also it means no fooling around, not even with yourself."

Bryce's eyes got big and said. "You mean they cut the tip of me willy off?"

I ran my finger around the area where they remove the skin and said, "No, just here."

Bryce grabbed himself and said. "Ain't no one cuttin' on me willy."

I had to laugh at him. He was standing holding himself and trying to keep the tears from falling at the same time. "Just keep it clean, and they won't."

He rinsed himself off and finished rinsing me too then we got dried and dressed.

Bryce was still carrying on about "willy," when Jimmy and Davey came into the room.

Davey asked Bryce the question. "Who's Willy, a friend at school?"

Bryce dropped his towel and wiggled his dick in front of Davey and said. "Ere's me willy, mate. And he is me best friend."

Davey blushed when he saw what Bryce meant and Jimmy just giggled. "You better quit doing that or you'll soon make a mess. Dad won't like that on the carpet."

Bryce put his boxers on and finished dressing. He almost caught it in his zipper because he was somewhat hard.

Jimmy was rolling. "You almost did the job yourself." Bryce shot him a dirty look as we headed for the front door.

We went to the Corral for dinner and Dave, Mary and Sally me us there. When we were seated, I told Dave and Mary that we had come to the same conclusion about Davey. They seemed to be relieved when I told them that since they didn't want Davey to play us against each other. That would have never happened since Dave was my best friend and nothing would ever change that fact.

After dinner we each returned to our respective homes and there was a message on my answering machine. It was the social worker calling to see how Bryce was doing. She left her phone number so I decided to call and answer her questions even though it was Friday night. After a short conversation, she felt Bryce was doing well and had received excellent reports from school. I asked about his citizenship and she said he was both American and Australian, which was just as I thought. I informed her that I was considering adopting Bryce and she confirmed what I already knew, this would take some time since there must be an attempt made to locate a living relative. I told her that I would have my lawyer get in contact with her and they could work these details out between themselves. I didn't want Bryce to have undo stress put on him since he was doing so well in school and at home.

My lawyer contacted Miss Parker and between them they found a solicitor in Australia who would take on the job of trying to locate Bryce's father. He placed adds in all the newspapers but they were striking out, which was fine with me.

Two more months had passed without so much as a peep from the solicitor when he got an idea. He called Mr. Rosen and said he had a way to find out once and for all if Bryce's father was around. He wanted to plant a phony newspaper story about an orphan child with a large estate looking for a relative to care for the child. I didn't like the idea because all the nut cases would be coming out of the woodwork just to claim the money.

"Hello Neil, Mark Thomas here." I had been calling his office almost every day since this latest round started. "I want you to run all of this by the judge who signed Jimmy's adoption papers. Look, I just don't want to be accused of doing anything underhanded when I'm this close to getting Bryce for good. You will? Great. Thanks. Bye."

The next day I had to take Bryce for a physical. The school said he hadn't had one when he was registered and it was a requirement. I wondered how they managed to miss that when he was registered.

My family doctor is likeable man. Shamus O'Malley came to America when he was about Jimmy's age from Ireland and to this day, he still has his accent. He always greets me with his favorite words. "Ah, top o' the mornin' to ye Mark me boy and what be bringin' you here today?"

When Bryce heard this, he immediately felt at ease with this stranger. Considering he would be seeing him in his all together, Bryce wasn't afraid of someone other than the crew at the house seeing him. The exam was simple and straight forward and it didn't take all that long. Bryce went along with everything the doctor wanted to do except for the last thing, the blood work. I wanted Dr. O'Malley to take a blood sample so he will have Bryce's DNA of file in case someone claimed to be his father suddenly appeared. Since I wasn't about to take a person's word on something this important I wanted to be prepared.

He absolutely refused to even let the doctor do it. I asked him if he would let me draw his blood. He realized this was important but he was still scared of needles none the less. After some convincing, he let me draw his blood. I had to bribe him to let me do it by agreeing to buy him a milkshake. This was a fair exchange for what I needed.

On the way home we stopped and each got a milkshake. We just pulled into traffic when my pager went off. I reached down and turned on my radio and listened to the call.

"Engine 5, Tanker 5, Ladder 5, Engine 14, Tanker 14, Battalion 16, Rescue 5, EMS 3, first alarm, structure fire, Artic and 25th, tach channel 2 assigned, time out 1148. Engine 5, Tanker 5, Ladder 5, Engine 14, Tanker 14, Battalion 16, first alarm, structure fire, Artic and 25th, tach channel 2 assigned, time out 1148." The voice said.

"EMS 3 responding, ETA 30 min." Dave said.

Shit, I thought. He is clear across town. I reached for the microphone and said. "Medic 51 dispatch."

The voice said. "Go ahead Medic 51."

I answered, "Medic 51 in route to fire scene. EMS 5 is 10-8, 10-10 (on duty and in service)."

The voice answered, "10-4. EMS 5 10-8 and in route. 1150 hours."

Another voice was heard. "Rescue 521 in route. We are an ALS (Advanced Life Support) unit."

I turned on my lights and headed to the scene. "Bryce, I need you to stay in the vehicle so you don't get in the way or hurt. This could take a while."

Bryce looked a little dejected but said. "Alright Dad, I'll be fine. You just be careful."

I patted him on the knee and continued to the scene. I could see black smoke in the sky as I headed to the call. I was still a couple of miles out and I could see thick, black smoke. I knew this was a bad one. I pulled up on the scene and notified the dispatcher I was on scene and went to the back of the Ram and put on my turn-out gear. I hated this heave stuff but it would protect me if I had to go in. I thought about my fire training that I received years ago. It was a good thing I became a firefighter before becoming a paramedic. Dave and I went through the academy together then we went over to EMS. Neither of us wanted to brave a burning building so we decided to work rescue instead. Now was the time to put all that into real life.

As I snapped my bunker coat closed, I reached into the Ram and grabbed my hand held radio and put it in my coat. I went over to the chief who was in command and let him know I was there. I had to coordinate medical services and fire in case a firefighter went down.

The chief saw Bryce watching the events and wanted me to let him shuttle hose and nozzles to the men if they were needed. "Mark, can Bryce lend me a hand? I could use an extra pair of hands if it's alright with you?"

I knew the chief and he wouldn't let anything happen to my boy so I agreed. "Sure chief, I'll go get him." I walked back to the Ram and told Bryce. "Hey, sport. Can you help the chief? If you do, you listen carefully to what he has to say."

Bryce was ecstatic. He jumped into my arms and said. "Thanks Dad. I'll be careful and listen to the chief."

The chief gave him a coat to wear and then I got busy. The ambulance staged a half a block away from the scene so they wouldn't be in the way. Bryce was busy running equipment to the men when suddenly there was a huge explosion.

Flames shot through the roof and glass went flying everywhere. My radio went crazy with messages coming in every 15 seconds. Then I heard a very familiar voice over the radio.

"Chief, fireman down. This is Bryce, fireman down!" Bryce said.

I answered him. "Bryce, where are you?"

"Near the front door," He answered.

I heard the chief tell him "OK Bryce, stay calm."

I said "Rescue 521 proceed to the front door and take care of the fireman. EMS 5 dispatch, respond another unit to this location." My radio can scan all frequencies so I can hear the fire/rescue dispatch channel without having to switch channels.

A voice said, "10-4 EMS 5. Rescue 20 respond to Artic and 25th. Contact EMS 5 on tach channel 2 Time out 1230 hours."

A voice was heard “Rescue 2022 responding. Switching to tach channel 2. Rescue 2022 to EMS 5."

I told them where to stage and I went to check on the firefighter who went down. Jim and Jack had started working on the fireman down. He was a rookie and forgot to put his face shield to his helmet down. He caught a mess of glass right to his face. He did manage to close his eyes before he stuck his head down but he has a lot of glass in his head and face. I checked him out and decided to call the helicopter to get him to the trauma center.

Bryce had grabbed the hose to keep the fire away and he was still holding on to it for dear life when I took the nozzle. He slid down and took the back as I kept a steady stream flowing. "Battalion 16, EMS 5."

"Battalion 16 go ahead EMS 5" the voice responded.

I answered "get another fire crew to the front door ASAP, Chief."

"They're on their way Mark," the chief replied. The two fresh men took over and I looked at Bryce who was grinning from ear to ear.

"Boy, Dad. Whatta rush." Bryce said.

"Are you alright?" I asked. "You could have been hurt, killed or worse." I was rambling on like a typical parent.

Bryce continued "Dad, I'm fine. The man on the back of the hose told me to duck and that's what I did. His partner wasn't so lucky. I tried to pull him down but he was to big."

Suddenly Bryce broke into tears. "It's alright, sport. He'll be OK. He got a lot of glass in his face, but he should be alright."

Bryce looked up at me when he heard he would be alright and said "really, Dad?" He's gonna be alright? Can I tell you something?"

I looked at him and said "sure, son. What's on your mind?"

Bryce continued saying, "I know what I want to do with my life."

Suddenly I got scared. I knew what he was going to say but I wasn't prepared to hear those words. I knew our guys have the best training possible and the officers are all seasoned professionals with many years of experience.

Bryce said "Dad, I want to be a fireman when I grow up."

We finished talking as we headed back over to command central. The fire was out and some of the men started overhauling the house. The chief looked at Bryce, patted him on the back and said "good job, Bryce. You probably save that man's life."

Bryce just chook his head and said "no sir, I didn't. I couldn't get him down. That's why he got hurt."

The chief looked at him and in a strong fatherly tone said "nonsense, son. If he would have listened to his partner, he would be alright. He made a rookie mistake by looking at the window when he knew it was going to go blow and he didn't have his face shield down. If he had, he would be fine."

I looked down at Bryce and suddenly saw blood running down his head be ear. "Bryce, you're cut. Come with me." I took Bryce to the Ram and put a bandage on his head and put him in the front seat. "EMS 5 dispatch. Transporting one to Trauma Center at General, priority 1."

A voice replied "10-4 EMS 5. Time 1347."

I ran lights and siren to the hospital. I was wondering how much glass he had in his head. I also feared the doctors would have to cut his beautiful hair. His hair and eyes were his best features. I switched over to the hospital frequency and said "EMS 5 General Hospital."

A voice said, "Go ahead EMS 5."

I replied, "Coming in code 1 with one patient on board. He has multiple glass fragments embedded in his head, no LOC (loss of consciousness) and vitals stable. ETA 4 minutes."

The voice said back "10-4 EMS 5. We await your arrival. General Hospital clear."

I started talking to Bryce to see if the glass hadn't scrambled his brain. I know, I'm thinking like a paramedic instead of a father. Well, maybe a little of both. How am I going to explain this to Miss Parker? She would be furious with me for allowing Bryce to be in such a dangerous situation.

Bryce looked at me and said, "Dad don't be angry, please?"

I looked at my boy and said "I'm not angry son. I'm just trying to figure out what to say to Miss Parker when she sees you."

"Not a problem. I'll just tell her a light buld hit me on the head when I was changing it." Bryce said with a smile.

We arrived at the hospital and the staff was waiting for us. Bryce was taken into the back while I registered him. Sure enough, when I went back they were cutting his hair. I started to cry. "Your hair" I sobbed. "They're cutting your hair off."

Bryce hopped down from the table and put his arms around me and said "don't worry, dad. It'll grow back. Besides, think of all the money you'll save on haircuts."

I didn't care about that right then. He was going bald right in front of my eyes. After they removed the hair around the glass, the doctor went to work. Bryce sat there like a trooper and never said a word. I knew it hurt but he sat still while the doctor worked on him.

He only had two pieces in him but one was quite deep and they had to numb his scalp before they took it out. I had to take him to my stylist when we were finished for two reasons. First she had to wash the blood out of his hair and second to make him look presentable. The nurse just removed the hair around where the glass was and now he has two big bald spots. I joked with him saying he had a hole in his head but now it's in his hair.

When we got home, Davey and Jimmy almost fainted when they saw Bryce.

"What happened to you?" Jimmy asked.

Bryce filled him in as I started fixing dinner. The boys all wanted hotdogs and beans so that's what I fixed and Davey sat transfixed on Bryce as he told them of what transpired.

"Wow, Bryce. Weren't you scared?" Davey asked.

Bryce answered "Now that you mention it I was but at the time, I didn't think about it. Everything happened so fast, I didn't have time to get scared."

Davey was impressed. He saw Bryce in a whole new light. He didn't have to be jealous of him, although he never had a reason to be in the first place. "Is this what you want to be when you grow up?"

Bryce looked at me first then the other two and said "that's exactly what I want to do."

Jimmy was happy for Bryce. Davey was relieved that he didn't have to think of Bryce as competition for my attention. "Well, do either of you two know what you want to be?"

Jimmy spoke up saying "I'd like to go to college then medical school if that's alright."

I just smiled at him. I was overjoyed that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine. That had always been my dream until I was Bryce's age. When I made my intentions known, I was told good luck by my old man. After hearing that, I said fuck it and joined the Army. I learned medicine from them and took classes to be an Emergency Medical Technician and then worked my way up to Paramedic.

Suddenly, Davey got quiet and tears started to roll down his eyes. "I don't know what I want to be."

I walked over to him and put my arms around him saying "that's alright Davey. You don't have to think about that now. You're only 12. You have plenty of time to decide your future."

Jimmy added to the conversation saying "yeah, Jimmy. Besides who said you had to work. You could just do what you like doing and take care of the house. You seem to enjoy keeping everything neat and tidy. But if there is something you find out later you would want to do, that's cool too.

Jimmy's words seemed to cheer Davey up. He started laughing and smiling again. Jimmy could always make Davey laugh no matter how down he seemed to be.

Davey reached up and pulled my head down to his lips. "Hey you know Jimmy's birthday is this weekend and I want to do something really special for him."

I asked Bryce and Jimmy to do the dishes while Davey and I went up to my room. "What do you have in mind?"

Davey had this all figured out. He reached into his pocket and handed me a piece of paper with a menu on it. Prime rib, baked potatoes, mushrooms, peas, biscuits and butter with iced tea to drink. He even planned to bake him a birthday cake for good measure. "This is what I have in mind. Do you think we can pull it off?"

I looked at him and said, "Are you sure? That's a lot of cooking for someone who has never cooked before. I think I have a better idea. We can get Bryce to keep him busy so you can have the kitchen to yourself to bake the cake, then we can go out to the restaurant of your choice on me. If you need any help with the cake, all you have to do is ask. How does that sound?"

"Gee thanks, pop. This will be the best birthday party for Jimmy." Davey was all smiles now. He jumped in to my arms and hugged me. "We better get downstairs before they get curious."

We went down stairs and the two had the kitchen cleaned and shining.

The rest of the week went remarkably fast. Bryce was the center of attention with the girls when they found out about his "injury" at the fire. His brothers were having fun with Bryce about the girls hanging off him and Bryce was just wishing they would just leave him alone. He couldn't very well tell say anything without "outing" himself, so he took it all in stride.

Bryce was glad when the weekend came so he could have a break from all the girls. He kept Jimmy out and busy with him until three thirty while Davey and I put his plan into motion.

I made dinner reservations for the four of us at Jimmy's favorite restaurant and Davey baked him a German chocolate cake. Everything was in place for Jimmy's birthday surprise. When everyone was home, I said it was time to get ready for Jimmy's night out.

The boys were upstairs in the shower when Jimmy reached around Davey and pulled him close and nuzzled his ear. Davey turned around and said, "Not now lover, you will have to wait until tonight."

"Don't you want to touch me anymore?" Jimmy asked.

Davey answered him saying "you know it's not that I don't want to, but it's because we don't have the time. You know we are going out tonight and Pop will have our hides if we're not ready on time. Come on and get your skunky butt clean. We'll have time for all this later tonight. But for now, shake a leg."

Jimmy smiled and said "Alright. I'll hold you to your word later."

We arrived at the restaurant and I let the birthday boy order what ever he wanted. The others waited for Jimmy then did the same.

Davey gave Jimmy his present. It was a gold coin broken into two pieces. It had the words "BEST FRIENDS FOREVER" engraved. Each boy had wanted one made for the other and I let each know that I would get it for the first one's birthday. They must have talked this over prior to Jimmy's birthday because Jimmy seemed to know what it was. Bryce got Jimmy a gold rope bracelet that matched the chain on his necklace. I gave Jimmy a couple of new games for his PS2.

After dinner, we all returned home to watch Titanic and have cake and ice cream. Davey's first attempt of baking a cake went flawlessly. He actually did a wonderful job of making the cake. Bryce had closed his eyes as he tasted the first piece but smiled when he found out how good it actually was.

Davey thought everyone was being nice until he tasted his work. He was relieved to know it was edible. After that, everyone went back for seconds.

After the movie, the birthday boy and his lover headed off to the privacy of their bedroom so Davey could give Jimmy his special birthday present.

Bryce and I sat in the double recliner and watched Walker, Texas Ranger then the eleven o'clock news before heading off to bed ourselves. "Dad, can I ask you something?" Bryce said.

I looked at him and said "sure. What's on your mind?"

Bryce continued saying "Would you show me how to masturbate?"

I had to think for a moment. "Don't you know how to do that yet?" I asked.

Bryce finished by saying, "Yes Dad, I do. I always end up rubbing it raw and then my arm gets sore before anything happens so I have to stop."

I decided that I would introduce him to a bottle of baby oil so he could be able to handle things on his own. "Alright, sport. I'll show you a trick and you should be able to finish what you start."

I turned off the television and made sure the house was secured before heading upstairs to bed. I went into the bathroom to handle my nightly duties while Bryce used the toilet. After I finished at the sink, I took my turn at the can and emptied my bladder. After Bryce had brushed his teeth, he went straight into the bedroom and never noticed that I picked up the baby oil and a towel.

I turned off the light and set the bottle on the night stand as I slid into bed behind my handsome god. I reached around and pulled him back into my chest. I had to be easy so Bryce would not feel the raging boner I was now sporting.

I was getting used to this position when suddenly Bryce rolled over and our poles made contact. I thought I was going to lose everything right then and there. Bryce felt me shudder when we touched and I was soon feeling his hand between my legs. It was all I could do to keep from letting him do what ever he wanted, but I was the adult here. My mind was going in 50 different directions. Yes, no. Stop, go. I wasn't sure what to do so I placed my hand on his and just held it so he couldn't move it.

Bryce whispered "Why are you stopping? Don't you want to?"

"You know that's not true," I replied. "I think things need to go a little slower, son."

I reached back and handed him the bottle of baby oil. He seemed to know what I was thinking and he pushed the covers off us with his foot. There was a small amount of light coming in through the window and I could see my Adonis in all his glory. He put a decent amount of oil on the end of his tool and slowly began to stroke.

He would look at me from time to time as if to ask "Is this right?"

I would just nod my head in approval and he would continue his stroking. Occasionally the glans would appear and he'd shudder when his hand hit his most sensitive area. I could see his eyes beginning to roll into the back of his head and his breathing become labored. He was getting ready for lift off.

I reached for the towel just as he arched his back and released this sound from his throat like he was fixing to explode.

The next thing heard was "Oh, gawd Dad. Here it comes."

If I hadn't moved over when I did, my teen idol would have drowned me in his spunk. I saw how much he released and thought it impossible if I hadn't seen it for myself. Bryce fired eight of the largest rounds of jizz I had ever seen.

I reached my arm under his neck and held his as he returned from his orgasmic high. After what seemed like an hour, three minutes in reality, I asked the question. "How was it?"

All Bryce could say was one word. "Wow."

I handed him the towel so he could clean up his chest and stomach. When he was done, he smiled and kissed my cheek softly saying. "That was the best cum I've ever had."

I smiled at him and whispered into his ear saying. "It just takes a little practice."

"Thanks for being so patient and understanding, Dad. I love you." Bryce began to close his eyes while saying this and was sound asleep when he finished his last word.

I kissed my boy on the head and closed my eyes for some much needed sleep.

Meanwhile, Jimmy and Davey were making their own music down the hall. Davey and Jimmy were kissing deep and passionately while doing a physical examination of each others body. Davey had a lip lock on Jimmy's tongue while his hand was caressing Jimmy's hard pleasure pole. Jimmy has his hand on Davey's nipple giving him chills.

To be continued...
