With the arrival of the old Academy meshing with the current Academy, the structure remained intact. Phoenix and Alexis joined Headmaster Ajani and the Mage Council members as they made their way from the Bunker to the Great Hall. They all stood in amazement at the changes that had occurred. They were use to a Great Hall that only rose to the second floor. Now it rose to the dome ten stories above their head. The people they could see were wearing diaphanous robes that left little to the imagination as they scurried to their suites to don robes that were more suitable to the new climate.
Headmaster Ajani called out, "Who is in charge here?"
Someone replied, "Headmaster Undawa; he will be right down."
As the group remained where they were standing, they saw a teleportation pad blink into existence in front of the Dining Hall and an attractive older man stepped off the pad and approached them with his arms held open.
"Maker Above, thank you; thank you so much, for bringing us back home!" With tears falling from his eyes, Headmaster Undawa continued, "We have been trapped in Phased Time for a thousand years and had almost given up hope of the right situation occurring to bring us home."
Introductions were made all around and Undawa invited everyone into his study. Once everyone was seated comfortably, Undawa poured wine for all and Ajani made a toast, "To 'The Prophesy' Fulfilled," to which everyone agreed. Undawa noticed that Randy and Pete were not in their company; so he mind-spoke to them asking them to join the group in the study. He poured two more glasses of wine and as the study door opened he said, "Here is to the two rascals that caused this mess in the first place." The blushing couple was introduced to everyone and went and stood by Undawa.
Ajani, the Council of Magi, Phoenix and Alexis were stunned to notice that Randy and Pete looked to be the same age as Phoenix and Alexis. Ajani asked, "How is it that no one has aged?"
Undawa proceeded to explain their theory of the effect that Phased Time has on the human body or more precisely on sentient entities. As Undawa was summing up his explanation, a vehicle entered the grounds. They could see it was from the Ground Control Centre; and together went to the front doors to see who had arrived. The Council of Magi, Phoenix, Alexis and Headmaster Undawa stood at the top of the steps and watched the vehicle come to a stop. They saw five people get out in regular dress.
Magus Ronnenburg addressed the group on the ground. "Good evening gentlemen; to what do we owe the honour of your presence this evening? If I am not mistaken, I notice that a graduate of the Academy is one of your members. Hello Mage Anderson; can you explain why you are here?"
Crewman Donald Anderson, who was required by Empire regulations to drop his title of Mage, stepped forward and briefly glanced at Bryce, who gave him the "go ahead" nod and Anderson turned to face the President of the Council of Magi.
"Magus Ronnenburg, may I present Captain Bryce Anderson of the frigate Starlord's Revenge. Captain Anderson, may I present Magus Ronnenburg, the President of the Circle of Magi."
After customary recognition by each, he continued. "Without sounding presumptuous, may I suggest, Sir, we adjourn to the Library as there is much to discuss that should not be spoken of in public?"
Ronnenburg showed his agreement; the remaining people at the top of the stairs turned and proceeded inside. Bryce's team quickly made it up the steps and joined Ronnenburg to enter the great doors and stand gasping at the monumental Great Hall.
"This way, please, gentlemen," Ronnenburg suggested by indicating the direction with his right arm.
Once seated around an ancient wooden table, and having cleared the Library of all others, Bryce got right to the topic at hand.
"Magus Ronnenburg, and gentlemen, we are here to investigate a phenomenal amount of power that came from this Academy just over four hours ago. We were parked in an orbit about the planet and it wiped our sensory displays. When everything came back on board, we found that the original 9 people had increased to five hundred ninety seven, when there should actually be over ten thousand people present on these grounds."
Magus Ronnenburg said, "Let me first introduce to you the two men who are responsible for what you experienced and then we can give you the background on The Prophesy. Phoenix Guinette and Prince Alexis Chochu, please stand."
Phoenix stood, waved his hand and introduced himself, followed by Alexis doing the same, then both men sat down again.
Magus Ronnenburg then went on to explain to Bryce and the rest of his crew the meaning behind The Prophesy and the resulting conclusion of The Prophesy. Bryce was stunned that that amount of power had been generated by two seventeen-year-olds.
Ronnenburg went on to explain that the remaining ten thousand apprentices and teachers were at the Hidden Academy on the other side of the planet for safety reasons as they did not know how The Prophesy would end and that the two gentlemen are Class 6 Magus and had just finished their testing before the incident.
Bryce asked when the ten thousand had been evacuated from the buildings and Ronnenburg explained that it was about six months earlier.
"I was wondering why our instruments would not pick up on the transportation of that many people," Bryce mentioned. "We did not take up station keeping orbit until two months ago, but no mention was made by the previous ship of such an event occurring."
Ronnenburg informed Bryce that this was because their transportation system was shielded from all outside sources and could only have been recorded by instruments within the academy itself.
"You will not be able to notice when the ten thousand return until the life signs show up on your scanners," he concluded.
Bryce then explained that The Empire was at war and had been severely infiltrated by the enemy. Shocked expressions showed on all faces as they had been kept in the dark about most of The Empire. Bryce explained about the type of aliens they were dealing with and requested the aid of any magi who were graduating.
"We understand that you know nothing about space science and would feel at a loss once on board our ships, but your help will be essential in re-establishing the lines of command and in evaluating any other situations where we are unable to scan with regular equipment on board ship," Bryce pleaded his case.
Sigmus VI was going to be in for a big shock if they decided to help.
Headmaster Undawa of the Ancient Academy stated, "All my apprentices have long since graduated and will be available for the war effort. The one thing I must make clear is that magi cannot take life. The only case that would override this rule would be if the magi were threatened, then he/she could use magic to get out of the situation."
Bryce informed him, "We are aware of this restriction because of Crewman Anderson." Bryce also told him, "We can easily hold that many on my ship for transport to Sigmus VI and redistribution to the other ships of the fleet."
Headmaster Ajani also stated that, "I have over a hundred magi who are ready for graduation and then would be ready to join in the fleet."
Bryce asked, "How long this would take?"
Ajani stated, "About one week."
Bryce said, "We can wait that long and take them all at the same time".
Headmaster Ajani asked, "Just how much of your crew was impersonated?"
Bryce relied "Over eighty percent on my ship alone, it is about the same amount on the other fourteen ships that we are aware of."
"Luckily, I was able to fill most positions with the remaining crew, as they had been through Space Academy; we are well aware of all aspects of running a frigate. I just have to replace my Executive Officer. This will be difficult as no one on board has held that position, so I'll just have to wait and see who progresses fast enough to fill those shoes."
"Will you and your ship be staying on the star field or will you be returning to orbit?" Magus Ronnenburg asked.
"We will be grounded until your people are ready to join us. We will move the ship from the star field and place it on your commons with plenty of room and no damage to buildings, unless you have underground rooms that will not support the weight of the ship."
"No problem there, the bedrock in this area is just inches below the grass, and there are no rooms below the commons that we are aware of," replied Ajani.
"We'll do a quick scan before setting down, just to make sure," stated Bryce.
"So, gentlemen, we will return to the ship now, if there are no further matters to discuss at this time."
All agreed that everything had been covered for now and they would quickly make the arrangements for the graduation to occur and have those magi transported back to the Academy.
Once the ship delegation had departed, Undawa asked Ajani, "Does your school system also have an AI (artificial intelligence) as an added bonus?" "Not that I am aware of," stated Ajani. "Then I think it is time to introduce you all to TA," replied Undawa. "TA, are you able to communicate with us in this room?"
"Yes, Headmaster Undawa, I am fully functional and have assimilated all relevant materials and software from the existing school system into our system."
"Good morning gentlemen, for those who do not know me, I am TA. I was created by the founders of the Academy to augment the school system and be a special assistant to any Headmaster and Council of Magi who are present."
"Thank you, TA," replied Undawa. "Now, I am sure that you have made some advancement since we left this fair planet, but we have made a number of advancements ourselves. TA will incorporate all the knowledge we have gained into your school system and they will be flagged for reference by any who are interested. We have found that Phased Time was created by some distant culture. We have mapped it and also reduced the number of malicious entities that were trapped there. It appears that it was created with a two-fold purpose. The first was as a prison to contain malicious entities that the ancient culture found. It was also created as a haven for the Academy or any such powerhouse, which would require removal from the present to stop a war of aggression against the planet that housed such a centre.
"The enemy would want to take control of the property and the denizens because of the power they held. In our case it is magical power; in other cases it could be think-tanks or military technology centres. How these other places would be able to remove themselves from harm, we do not know, but there are farm planes built into Phased Time, that provide all agricultural requirements.
"We also found that we were never without electricity or water. The only thing that could not be replenished was magical energy. Phased Time is not really a material existence so the magical energy that is intrinsic to all matter and easily replenishes itself within normal time/space, is not available in Phased Time. That is why we were unable to get back home on our own. By the time we had found you and moved, Phased Time had taken ownership of the Academy and we did not have the power resource required to return."
"If what you state is true, then why were we never made aware of it," queried Magus Ronnenburg.
"That has something to do with our departure, and then a rebuilding of the academy on the same foundations. We feel that the fail-safes that are built into TA, could not respond correctly to provide the necessary information. Can you tell me how quickly the building was replaced?" asked Undawa.
Ronnenburg stated, "The new building was started a year after the disappearance of the old academy. They used the current foundations, instead of starting from scratch on another part of the property. The Council of Magi, at that time, was not aware of the capability of this occurring or that you would require the foundations to return. We have books from that time, but anything earlier went with the Academy."
"We should wrap this up for now. I need to get to the Hidden Academy to start the graduation process for the Level 5's, and then I will return with them. They will use some of the rooms in the additions that you can see have been added," stated Ajani.
"TA, can you transport Headmaster Ajani to the Hidden Academy, now that we have supplanted the existing academy," asked Undawa.
"Certainly, Headmaster Undawa. Though we have 'supplanted' the existing academy, the transportation pads that they had created still exist as they are magical in nature and melded with the academy. Which pad do you wish to depart from Headmaster Ajani?"
"TA, once I have gathered my things, I will leave from the pad in front of my suite, which I hope still exists," replied Ajani.
TA created a holographic image of the Academy and asked Ajani where his suite was located. Ajani indicated that it was accessed through a door in his office. Undawa said "Let us see if it is still there, as you have indicated an area which was a Hidden Chamber we made use of in the original Academy.
Ajani and Undawa left the study and made their way through the office to the entrance. Undawa activated the door and was surprised to see that the chamber was gone and a suite was in its place. "TA, could you check to see if the defence/offence chamber is on the other side of this one?" asked Undawa.
"Yes; it is accessed through the shower in this suite," replied TA.
Ajani explained that when the rebuilding had been done, the hidden chambers had been revealed in the plans, but had been used to make room for additional suites for high level staff. Undawa approached the shower in the suite and asked Ajani if he knew how to access the hidden chamber, Ajani twisted the first shower head and an opening appeared in the corner. They proceeded through the opening and there was the defence/offence chamber, though it was much more compact than the original. Undawa explained how the chamber had been used and Ajani chuckled. "I knew our gay apprentices would be of use, but I never thought it would be as the core of the defence of the Academy. That has always been the Staff and Teachers responsibility," Ajani said.
Undawa reminded him that they had a much smaller staff and apprentice base than the new academy and he had to use what he had on hand.
As Ajani was packing, Undawa asked him if they had explored the use of linking and rapport to the extent that the old academy had. The answer was a negative. "Then we need to teach this to the new graduates when they return as they will be sent out in pairs and must be a mated couple for the rapport to be of use. With this war we are facing, this will be most essential," stated Undawa.
"You will need to have the mated sets when you return with the graduates. If there are singles who cannot for some reason mate with any of the other graduates, we will see if they can mate with those already on hand who are single. We cannot send singles out as the power of the rapport built between two loving people is what will win us this war. It is like having forty people linked to pick up a pebble by levitation. One set could provide a ship with a force field that would be impenetrable by any object or weapon used against it. They would be able to scan for life at a greater distance than any ship-board system. They could also immobilize any ship and destroy it with a thought. They are our weapons against the Qujanns and Janquits. We could also create larger teams to determine if they can enter the Qujanns' and Janquits' mind-sets to see why they are so antagonistic against the rest of us."
"Very good logic, Headmaster Undawa, I will start looking into it as soon as I reach the Hidden Academy," replied Ajani. "TA, I am ready for transport, please," stated Ajani.
TA activated the teleportation pad outside the Headmaster's office; Ajani waved goodbye and was gone.
Undawa met with the members of the Council of Magi who were still sipping on wine, in the study. "Due to the circumstances, I think I should put my defence/offence teams into action and shield the Academy. We will make it so that use of the teleportation pads will be enabled, but nothing else will be able to penetrate the perimeter once the ship has arrived."
Undawa mind-spoke his units to nap for a bit as they would be going to be hard at work once the ship arrived. He then got a top-up on his glass of wine and sat down to become better acquainted with the Council members.
Meanwhile, the landing crew had returned to Starlord's Revenge. Bryce went up to the Command Centre and had Navigation lock onto the co-ordinates of the Academy. He also had Communications launch probes to be positioned around the planet. The first probe was placed over the Academy and provided the crew with a scan of the property so they could determine the best place to land their Class 8 Frigate. It was found that though there were subterranean passages and rooms below the commons, the bedrock was sound enough to withstand landing the large ship without any damage to those rooms or passages.
Once everything was in place and the course was locked in, Bryce requested a communications channel to the Academy. TA accepted the communication and mind-spoke to Undawa, 'There is an open communication from Captain Bryce Anderson of the starship Starlord's Revenge; will you accept it through the school system? I can open a holoscreen so that it can be face to face.'
"TA has informed me we have an incoming communication from Captain Bryce. TA, open communications please."
"Bryce, nice to see you again. How can we help you?" asked Undawa.
"Headmaster Undawa, we should be reaching your Academy within a half hour. We have determined that there are underground passageways and chambers under the Commons, but will be settling down so that the struts impact on solid bedrock and will not interfere with the subterranean network."
"Excellent, we await your arrival. We will be placing a force field around the Academy and your ship once you have arrived."
"Will that have any impact on our receiving information from the probes we have launched?"
"None, whatsoever! This is more to protect us in case of unknown attack since we really do not know where it may come from as we don't know the full scope of it, yet. We will discuss our ideas when you get here."
"Roger that; end communication."
Undawa sent a mind speak to his teams and had them teleport up to EW1 and EW2.
"Gentlemen, I must leave you now to join my teams to raise the force field and set up an intelligence web. I will return as quickly as possible." Undawa left through the door to the office and then took the teleport pad from outside the office to EW1.
Giving a mental hug to everyone in EW1 and EW2, he took his place with OFF1 and got everyone into rapport.
TA finally indicated that the ship had landed, so Undawa had the rapport expand outwards to include everything in the Academy grounds, right to the perimeter. He expanded upwards to above the top deck and outside instruments of the frigate. All of the team members were amazed at the actual size of the ship as it took up two-thirds of the available land mass and stood over one hundred feet higher than the dome. Undawa also decided to take that rapport and complete a sphere by passing it under the subterranean network. TA indicated that the positioning of the probes was perfect to use as anchor points for the intelligence web they wanted to cast. The rapport was deepened again and expanded to include all probes, unknowingly setting off a few alarms in the ships communication system. TA reported to the ships what was taking place and the alarms were silenced. The web was completed and then they filled the spaces in between the web strands as they had done in Phased Time.
The teams decided to go to their hidden chamber and reinforce the web. They all transported down to the office and Undawa showed them how to enter the new chambers. They immediately went to the bedroom section and stripped out of their clothes and got on their assigned beds. Just the sight of so many healthy hunky men had everyone very achingly stiff. Each started rapport with his partner then joined the rapport with their counterparts; the rapports started to build and then were sent to mesh through the central pillar. As holes were being filled and throats stretched; the sweaty man scent intoxicated them, the moans and groans enthralled them. They reached heights of rapport that had never been reached before and TA directed it to the web, then the surges started with the first climaxes and continued to grow; TA continued to direct the energy to the web and soon every soul on the planet could see the web that was protecting them.
Government phone lines were going crazy for the amount of calls coming in asking what was happening. The Government of Acadia contacted Starlord's Revenge to ask if they were responsible for this and were told that, no, this was the work of the Academy magi and would be working as an early-warning system should the war suddenly appear on their doorstep. Happy with this response, the Government sent out a global message to all about what was happening. The inhabitants of Acadia were never as happy as now to have the Academy on their planet.
Undawa was one of the last to climax. Undawa's body lowered onto Randy's and they shared a loving kiss. When Undawa was able to, he slowly dismantled the rapport and everyone went for a shower. Once finished and dressed, the men went off in twos and fours; Undawa, Murray, Randy and Pete all went to the study to join the Council of Magi. Comfortably settled in their seats with glasses of wine, they awaited Bryce to come over from the ship.
Bryce looked at his Communications officer and asked, "How are the probes working?"
"Sir, the probes are supplying data like I've never seen, we are detecting everything up to ten light-years away. Our scanners could never do that before. It is like they have turned the whole planet into a satellite receiver."
"Should you detect anything anomalous in your readings, let me know as I'm sure the magi will be able to tell us what it is and if it is a threat."
"Aye, Aye, Commander."
Bryce requested that Crewman Donald Anderson met him for debarkation, as Don as a Mage Level 4 Telepath. The two left the ship and headed over to the Academy's front doors. TA opened the doors for them and directed them to the study. Once they reached the study, they were greeted by all and asked if they would like to partake of a glass of wine. The answer being 'yes', they were served and found comfortable seats.
Undawa started to explain what they had in mind for the ships and the teams of two or more couples per ship. Don kept shaking his head as he started to really understand the ramifications involved. Don then bluntly asked, "Is there any possibility that a male mate could be found for me?"
Don explained, "With my telepathic abilities, I would be much more useful to you and the ship if I were mated and in a rapport with my mate and/or another couple that are gay mated. I would be able to sense if an approaching ship were really friendly or in enemy hands before they reached their weapons range. With the shielding we would have in place, it would be a win-win for our side. We know that the Qujanns and Janquits are able to absorb the personalities and knowledge of their victims; however, they remain Qujanns and Janquits should a body scan be run. I might even be able to get into their mind-set to see how they tick and why they are so hostile."
Undawa smiled and said, "Wonderful; that is exactly what we were hoping to be able to provide to all our ships. Headmaster Ajani has gone to the hidden academy to get the graduates to pair-up if possible and any singles will be known and paired with any other singles here in the Academy. I'm sure we can find someone for you, Don."
They chatted for a while longer; then Bryce and Don went back to their ship.
Phoenix and Alexis came up to the study and asked where Headmaster Ajani was. When told, they looked a little disappointed; then mentioned that they would like to join the crew of Starlord's Revenge. The Council of Magi just looked at each other and grinned. They said there would be no problem and that they could make arrangements with Bryce for transferring over.
After Phoenix and Alexis spoke with Bryce and received his approval, they high-tailed it to their suite in the basement and packed their belongings. They were stepping on-board the starship after twenty minutes. Bryce had Crewman Don show the couple where they would be living. They were escorted to their quarters, which consisted of a room with a queen-sized bed; on the opposite side of the room was their bathroom with tiny shower and their closet. They threw their bags on the bed and then followed Don to see what else there was. Don took them to the rec centre, where there was a full weight-room, a lap pool, badminton court and basketball court, as well as a theatre and cafeteria. All through the tour, Don was very animated, but showed a very strong interest in Alexis. Anytime that Phoenix asked a question, Don was quick with an answer, but anytime Alexis asked a question, Don would blush and almost stammer his answer.
Phoenix and Alexis dropped into a quick rapport and decided that they were going to take this handsome crewman to bed as soon as the tour was over.
Don continued with the tour, unaware of the decision that the other two had reached. He showed them the dining room, where they would be eating their main meals. Until the ship had regained it full complement of crewmen, they would all eat together.
After all hands were on board, they would need to have two sittings for each meal. The last stop on the tour was a bow cabin that had been fitted out similar to EW1 but had only 4 chaise longues. This is the area where the three of them would be working and they were hoping that Don would find the fourth member, when the graduates returned from the hidden Academy.
Alexis invited Don back to their quarters for a glass of wine, as they had brought a lot with them. All three went back to the cafeteria to get wine glasses and then headed for their quarters. Once they were in the room, Don had the room activate the additional furnishings. A table and 4 chairs were raised from the decking as well as a couch and two chairs with a coffee table and end tables. Alexis asked the computer to lower the lights and play some soft music while the three sat on the couch and two chairs. Don, being thirty years old, looked to be in his mid twenties, and Alexis and Phoenix being seventeen-year-olds, looked to be in their early twenties. As the wine flowed and the conversation became filled with innuendoes and double entendres, Alexis slipped from his chair to the couch to join Don. Don began to appear nervous and then grabbed for Alexis and started kissing him passionately. Phoenix was not going to be left out of this bit of fun, so he joined them on the couch, on the other side of Don and slipped his right arm around Don's waist and using his left hand he guided Don's face from Alexis to himself and placed a very passionate kiss on his swollen lips. Alexis took their wine glasses and placed them on the table and then went back to Don and knelt on the deck between Don's knees. As Phoenix and Don continued their lip-lock, Alexis started to undo the zipper of Don's crewman's jump-suit. As the zipper stopped at the waist, Alexis opened the chest area and exposed Don's hairy pecs and abs. He ran his hands through the light-coloured soft hair and found his left nipple and latched-on.
Sucking and nipping and licking the nub into full erection. Don was moaning and had his left hand pressed against the back of Alexis' head, running his fingers through the hair. Phoenix broke the lip-lock and made his way to finding Don's right nipple, where he also latched-on and did the necessary things to get the nub to raise above the hairline. Don lay against the back of the couch and moaned and groaned as the two men made love to his nipples and alternated between stroking his inner thighs through the suit, and groping his crotch, which felt like it was on fire. Alexis broke away from the fun he was having as he really wanted Don's body, in all its glory. He reached down and started to undo the laces on Don's boots and worked them off; then his socks followed. Alexis stood and removed his robe and sandals. He then grabbed Phoenix from his playground and together they pulled Don to a standing position between them. Alexis kissed Phoenix; then Phoenix started to get Don's body out of his uniform. Don assisted, readily, as there were things the two were yet to learn about ships' uniforms. At the waist were two snaps within the two-inch wide elastic waistband. Don shrugged off the top of the uniform and then pulled down on the waistband. The suit included a mesh jock-strap and he was quickly stepping out of it. Phoenix, meanwhile, had removed his robe, sandals and briefs.
Alexis quickly transferred their bags from the bed to the couch and pulled down the blanket and top sheet. Phoenix and Don were in another lip-lock and quickly making their way to the bed. Once everyone was lying down, Don was in the centre, Alexis on his right and Phoenix on his left. The bookends were grinding their bodies against Don's sides.
Phoenix started working his way down Don's body to his crotch. His hands traveled over the abdominal ridges, then worked their way down to the inside of Don's thighs. This made Don automatically spread his legs wider. Phoenix moved himself into position so he could be between Don's legs and started kissing and nipping his way up the inner left leg until he buried his nose between Don's hairless ball sack and the top of his thigh. Phoenix's left hand cradled Don's sack and ever so gently squeezed them, his lips brushed over them and made their way down the inner right thigh, kissing and nipping as they went. When Phoenix had reached the knee, he took one long lick back up to Don's balls. He bathed the balls with his tongue and balanced each ball on his tongue before taking one into his mouth and gently sucking on it, then removing it and taking the other into his mouth and gently sucking on it. Don was in a lip-lock with Alexis and was wreathing on the bed, and moans could softly be heard through the passionate kisses that were being exchanged. Phoenix moved his mouth from Don's balls to his hot shaved meat. He licked his way over the entire surface of Don's cock and then started to pay extra attention to his glans and pee-slit. This was making Don go crazy.
Phoenix thought that now would be the time to ride this thick ten-inch monster. He conjured the lubricant onto his rosebud, up his anal canal, and around Don's hefty meat. Phoenix rose up and straddled Don's hips, then slowly descended to take Don's cock on a plunging and rolling ride in his love canal.
Don was going crazy with the feelings he was receiving from his crotch, he started to pull Alexis' body upwards so he could lick and kiss his way to Alexis' heavy cock. Don wanted that meat in his mouth so bad he was salivating up and spreading his drool carefully into the nocks and crevices he could find on Alexis' chest and abs. Finally the moment of truth arrived; as he started at Alexis' mighty man-meat. He took his tongue and licked over the corona and into the piss-slit, then opened his lips wide to take in the head. Alexis threw his head back and groaned loudly; he then established a link between the three of them and then brought them into rapport. He deepened the rapport and found that there was an unbelievable amount of energy that could be harvested. TA was aware of the strong rapport that was developing and made itself known, slowly as to not shatter the rapport. The three welcomed TA with open mental arms. TA entered into the rapport fully and started to siphon off the energy, using it to reinforce the plating on the ship, changing the composition of the plating into a substance that was stronger than any before know by man. At the culmination of their joint climax, TA siphoned the energy burst into a reflective coating on the new armour plates of the frigate.
Bryce was on the bridge while this was occurring and there were system lights going off in the engineering console that could not identify what was happening to the armour plating. Hull integrity was up by over two-hundred percent of normal. Bryce had a feeling he knew what was happening, but decided to let the love-birds recoup a little before he started to ask questions.
The three lovers gently returned to earth as TA left the rapport. It had been a mind-blowing experience for all of them as they did not know the existence of TA, initially. Once the rapport was ended, they knew all they needed to know about TA and his abilities to utilize their energy. They learned enough information that they would be able to harness this energy and apply it in any number of ways.
As they were dressing, a chime sounded in their quarters. Phoenix and Alexis looked to Don and he explained that this was a communication chime. "Crewman Anderson, Magus Guinette and Magus Chochu reporting."
"This is Commander Bryce; could you gentlemen meet me in my Ready Room?"
"On our way, Commander!"
The three men finished dressing, exchanged kisses, and made their way to the elevator that would take them to the Command Deck. Once on the deck, they walked past Engineering and Communication to a door in the bulkhead. The door automatically opened when it sensed that there were people waiting to enter. Bryce, hearing the door open, said, "Come in and make yourselves comfortable. This shouldn't take too long."
The men observed that one wall was windows that looked down upon the top of the Academy. They seated themselves and without further delay Bryce got right to the point. "Ok, what have you been doing that changed the armour plating on this vessel?"
Three red-faced men stumbled over themselves trying to explain what had happened. Bryce let this go on for a couple minutes and then laughingly asked them to stop.
"So, if I understand this correctly, while the three of you were involved in manage-a-trois, you went into rapport and used the energy created to update our armour plates to something that we have not been able to analyze, as well as, providing us with a reflective coating that appears able to withstand any type of energy weapon?"
"Well, Sir, it was not our intention when we began, but TA entered our rapport and siphoned off the excess energy we were producing and taught us many ways to be able to use the energy. For most applications, we would be able to do it, just by entering rapport without the sex. For really big stuff, we would need the sex to create the greater source of energy that would need to be expended," stated Don.
"I suggest that we have all ships in the fleet brought here to be updated in this fashion, by the magi who will be working aboard each ship," suggested Phoenix.
"I suggest that the four of us go back to the Academy and discuss this with Headmaster Undawa and the Council of Magi; maybe we can ascertain how many ships we're really speaking about and how long it will take them to reach us," suggested Bryce.
Alexis said, "I will need to speak with my father to see how things are on Orion and whether I have royal permission to partake in this war."
Alexis and Phoenix dropped into rapport and mind-spoke to TA to find out if everyone needed were still awake. TA informed them that they had just finished dinner and would be available when they had finished their own dinner.
Alexis stated, "TA has informed us that everyone has had dinner over there and that we should also have our dinner before proceeding over to discuss our plans."
The four made their way to the dining room, where a nice meal was ready for them.
Once the meal was finished they made their way over to the study and the always-present glasses of wine.
