After taking a refreshing shower in the Hidden Suite, Randy, Pete, Undawa, and Murray redressed and left the room. Instead of heading downstairs, they made their way to the tenth floor. Undawa quickly showed them a hidden doorway and the stairs that led to the attic area. They came up beside the outside of the dome and marvelled at how it extended so far above their heads before passing through the roof. The next room was their destination. Undawa unlocked the door with a wave of his hand and before anyone else entered, he cast a spell to get rid of the generations of dust that had accumulated on all surfaces. Pete was especially impressed that Undawa would remember his allergy.
When the four men entered the room, they found that it had a glass dome. The instruments indicated that it had been used for astronomy, which was no longer taught in the Academy. They carefully moved the antique instruments into a closet they found on one wall, also finding that there was a bathroom accessible from the same wall. Undawa cast forth his hand and conjured four chaise longue in a cross pattern, the heads touching, and the main part of the couch at a ninety-degree angle from the next couch.
Randy pouted and said, "Ah, I thought we were going to do it again."
"All in good time, my love," responded Undawa. "First we are going to set up the early-warning system and see if, with TA's assistance, it can be self-regulating or if it has to be manned."
Undawa and Murray took the North-South positions and Randy and Peter took the East-West positions. Again, Undawa cast his hand out and this time conjured four ottomans that were the same height and colour as the chaise longue and positioned close to the heads of the divans. "This will assist us to link without our arms becoming tired. We don't know how long we will need to be in rapport to accomplish this."
So said, they each held the hand of the person on each side. Undawa created the link, and then brought them together into rapport. As the rapport built, Undawa called TA again to join the rapport. TA's presence could be felt by all. Undawa then started to stretch their rapport outwards in a passive wave, finding that the wave was flattening one side due to the dome. They all understood they would have to repeat this on the other side of the dome. As the wave expanded, TA brought his talent into the rapport, strengthening the wave and pushing it past the first set of planes that could be felt. He manipulated the planes in such a way that they formed anchors for the early-warning system. He then sent passive tendrils out to the next set of planes, anchored again to the first set of planes and creating what felt like a spider's web encasing the farm plane on one side.
Once that was finished they could see that it was self-sufficient. They pulled back the rapport without breaking it and made their way to the similar room on the other side of the dome. Undawa banished the dust and conjured the chaise longue and ottomans, and then the men took their positions again as they were in the first room. Undawa, still in control of the rapport stretched it outwards in a passive wave, then TA took over and created the spider-web effect on this side, joining it with the one already created. The Academy was then sitting in the center of a two-tiered warning system that was linked to the four men as well as TA. TA had created a shimmering substance in between each tendril that would not allow anything physical to pass except if it were keyed to TA, or one of the other men.
The men were becoming fatigued with the last exercise. They expressed their appreciation to TA and dropped out of rapport and broke the link. It was then in the early morning hours and the four men moved back to the Hidden Suite to cuddle and sleep.
TA woke them gently to insist that they return to their own suites unless they wanted the school to know about their relationship. At breakfast, the next morning, all four men were served the energy potion. Randy and Pete found that it did not have quite the same initial effects, as it had the previous day. Though it still brought tears to the eyes, there was no smoke from the ears and the burning sensation was more of warmth. Headmaster Undawa stood to address all the residents of the Academy.
"If you are wondering why Magus Randy, Pete, Mage Matheson and I are a little rough around the edges, it is because we have been hard at work for your benefit. We spent the evening and half the night creating a protective barrier between us and the rest of phased time." His words brought a round of applause and cheering from the audience. " A self-sustaining web has been created that is keyed to the four of us so that at any time we will be aware of any harm approaching the Academy and can take proactive steps to ensure our safety. Later today, we will be screening the Level 5's to see who is compatible with our team, to assist us in an offensive fight should that situation arise."
Undawa sat back down and they all finished their breakfasts.
Without being told, Randy and Pete headed for the Hidden Library and the new tome that would be awaiting them. If I cannot find enough Level 5 boys we will need to step back and review what we have.
"I intend to meet with the Level 5's right now and put it on the line. I will explain the situation, the requirements, and why they must be gay, and then I will leave it with them to meet with us by the end of the afternoon.
"For the teachers; I will have a staff meeting, where I will explain the situation, the requirements, and why we are looking for gays. I will request that the ones who decide should meet with us that evening.
"Now, Anthony and Joshua, I want you to go with Randy and Pete to the Hidden Library. I have instructed TA that we will need the tome on defensive skills as well as the tome on offensive skills. Anthony and Joshua, you will formally meet with TA today."

I am a created intelligence that has grown with the Academy since the foundation was laid a millennium ago. I have never been as self-aware as I am now, thanks to Randy and Pete and, of course, Headmaster Undawa and Mage Matheson. You will feel my presence any time you go into deep rapport that is associated with a sex act, just to ensure that your rapport does not build like the first one Randy and Pete experienced which ended up with our being transported into phased time.
'All learning in this Hidden Library is enhanced with rapport. You will learn faster and incorporate the information into your conscious as well as your subconscious mind. The amount of time spent each day is approximately three hours, and then you will meet up with the others to discuss and practice what has been learned. If you are not required for the afternoon meeting over the next couple days, I would like you to return here so that you may accelerate your learning in order to be on the same page with Randy and Pete.
'To begin the learning, simply hold your inside hands together, link, then place our outside hands on the tome and go into rapport. This will initiate the learning process. Once you have absorbed the contents of the tome, or lunch-time has arrived, the learning process will terminate and pick-up where you left off when you return. You have been granted full access to this Hidden Library, though we will have to do something about the main Library as I can sense that apprentices are becoming frustrated that they no longer have access. Well, that is not something for you to worry about; I shall discuss it with Headmaster Undawa when he is free.'
Suddenly the presence was gone, and the learning began for Josh and Anthony.
Undawa was standing at the front of the classroom, with the attention of all the Level 5's focused on him. He started to walk back and forth in front of the class and made a decision. "All Level 5 females are requested to meet with Adept Lani to discuss issues surrounding the farm and livestock. You will find her waiting for you outside the Main Entrance. I think you will be interested in what she will be discussing with you."
As the girls left the classroom, the guys were looking around at each other wondering what could be next. "Now that there are only us, guys, in the room, I must approach a most delicate subject with you.
"We have been interviewing for a few days and have only come up with two successful applicants for the teams we are building. We do not have the time to continue in this fashion. We need to find seven men to complete the teams. Those who have already gone through the interview process may leave with Mage Matheson and continue working on getting your Level 6's or you can stay and hear why you were not picked.
There was a shuffle of feet as a number of the guys stood up and moved over to Mage Matheson; who directed them out the door, and using his senses, found an unused classroom.
Undawa found that there were four boys who had gone through the interview process who remained. 'Most interesting' he thought to himself. "Okay, here is how the situation lays. We require seven—gay—Level 5's to complete the teams. I know you are asking yourselves, why gay? The answer lies in the types of magic we must learn and the rapport that must be reached.
"You have all learned about sex magic being the strongest type of magic known to mankind. As the founding members of the teams are gay, it stands to reason that the remaining members must be as well. If the founding members had been straight, then we would have already found the required members.
"It is not our intention to 'out' anyone. But at your age, you should have decided where your preferences in partners lie. The sex magic is used to create the depth of rapport that is required to produce the strength of magic needed to either defend or attack an entity that is attempting to reach us. There are many malevolent entities in phased time, and it was your class that found The Darkness, which is the strongest of the entities. We will have two defence teams and two offence teams. Kind of like football or hockey, which I know you know all about from the revelry heard from the recreation centre.
"So, this being said, anyone who feels that he can contribute to our defence under the guidelines I have given you, is asked to meet with me in my study, no later than this afternoon. I will be there between lunch and dinner. If we are unable to find sufficient numbers from you to fill the teams, we will be forced to either add in more teachers or go to the staff.
"Thank you for listening to me this morning; I will now have Mage Matheson and the rest return so you can all work on getting your Level 6's."
Undawa mind-spoke to Murray to have them return; and left the classroom. Once in his office—separate from his study—he was contacted by TA.
'Headmaster, we have a situation that we need to fix.'
'And what might that be, TA?'
'Access to the Hidden Library needs to be changed so that the apprentices have access to the Library again. Many are becoming suspicious about not being able to access the Library whenever they want, as has been the case for as long as these apprentices have been here.'
'TA, in your master plan for the Academy, was there alternative entrances/exits listed for the Hidden Library, or can we access it through teleportation.'
'The Hidden Library was built with only the one entrance, from the main Library. There is no way currently to teleport into the Hidden Library as it will set off the defensive features within the library and someone could end up dead. However, there is the possibility to create a teleportation pad within the library to one that is set up outside the Library, preferably within a closed space so that it can remain hidden.'
'TA, please provide the text with the information required to produce these teleportation pads. They may come in handy for uses other than the Library.'
'The requested text is now available in the Hidden Library for you. It is, however, becoming crowded in the Hidden Library with 4 people present. Might I suggest another room that can be made available for learning purposes? It is light and airy and I can move the required text materials there for safe keeping, returning the Hidden Library for your use and Randy and Pete's use, exclusively.'
'Make it so, TA. Where would this hidden classroom be located, by the way?'
'If you will walk to the right end of your credenza in your office, you will find an ornate finial on the back, as matched with the one on the left. Wave your hand above the finial and the access will be revealed.'
Undawa, first warded his office door, then walked to the indicated finial and waved his hand. A section of the wall in front of him vanished and a lovely room was revealed. Undawa automatically banished the dust from all surfaces and opened the windows, to find that they looked out to a quadrangle that he had never known about. He thought he would discuss this with TA later. He investigated the room and found that there were many facets to the room. There was a grouping of tables and chairs - four tables and sixteen chairs to be precise; beyond this were short aisles - about six feet long - of bookcases; beyond the bookcases there was a relaxation area, including fireplace with multiple groupings of couches, chairs, coffee and end tables. After passing through the relaxation area, he found a kitchen area and bathroom facilities separated by a hall that was dark. Undawa created a Mage Light that he placed at his right shoulder and proceeded down the hall.
What he found blew his mind, there were four king-sized beds in an elegant setting, and tapestries of men in every form imaginable covered the walls. Stands for Mage Lights stood between the tapestries to fully illuminate them. The ceiling was highly decorative, with mirrors above the beds which were set up as he had set up the chaise longue in the attic. The square, which was created by the joining of the four beds, in the centre contained some type of pillar that was iridescent with cascading colours and as he got closer, there was a vibration that was very soothing to the soul, but enhanced his libido greatly.
'TA, who created this chamber?'
'The founders created everything that is original within the parameters they set. I have been able to enhance the décor with the knowledge that this space would be shared by sixteen gay men. The kitchen you saw is for receiving meals from the main kitchen, it is on their transportation list, and for stacking the dirty plates and flat ware after meals. There is also a fully stocked wine cellar, half of which is chilled for white wines and plenty of crystal ware for your use.'
'This place is amazing, TA! I would like a printout of the blueprints of the Academy, showing all hidden rooms in red, main rooms in blue, occupied suites in orange, classrooms in aqua and an explanation that should accompany it for all the hidden rooms.'
"The plans are now on a table in the first section, known as the classroom, of this chamber. You should also note that the bookcases are now stocked with tomes from the hidden library that will be of use to you in the training of your teams. Now, may I suggest that you exit the chamber, as you have apprentices waiting outside your study?'
Undawa looked at his watch and realized that through his investigations, he had totally missed lunch. He proceeded quickly out of the chamber (grabbing the Academy plans along the way), which sealed behind him. He then went to the office safe and deposited the plans; then to the door that lead to his study and opened it and went to the main door and opened it.
"Please come in, one and all," said Undawa. "Make yourselves comfortable." The seven students were followed into the classroom by Randy, Pete, Anthony, Josh, and Murray. Undawa recognized all the students from the Level 5 class. "Amazing, how did we end up with the exact number of students that we needed?"
Elliott Goodkin stood and said, "Headmaster, after you left, Mage Matheson suggested that those of us who listened to you, should get together and discuss what was said and how we were going to help you and the Academy. As most of us enjoy fooling around with each other, we decided to narrow it down to those who loved to fool around with each other. That left ten of us. The rest went back to Mage Matheson and continued studying and the ten of us discussed the type of work and risk that was involved with your talk with us. Three of the guys said they just were not up to it, so that left the seven of us."
"I knew if I put it out to your group that you would not let me down. Now, Randy, would you please ward the door, I have something to show all of you." They followed him through his office and into the Hidden Chamber. The guys 'oohed' and 'aahed' in the appropriate places and were speechless when they entered the bedroom area of the chamber. "Now, if you will follow me through to the classroom section we will begin the final stage of the initial process. Let us bring the four tables together in the centre and have four chairs on each side. Now then, let's place Randy on one side, Pete on the next and Murray on the third side. Anthony and Josh, I want you on either side of me. Now then, let's have one more person on my side and two more on each of the other sides. Let's also remove the three vacant chairs. Now, spread out on your sides so that you can still hold hands comfortably, but those on the corners can reach each other as well."
Once everyone was in place, Undawa held hands with Anthony and Josh; Randy held hands with Elliott Goodkin and Alex Higgins, Pete held hands with Joseph Teller and Grant Murphy, Murray held hands with Manjit Sandhu and Shumata, Josh took James Donaldson's hand. The rest joined hands to complete the circle and Undawa initiated the link. Within the link; he mind-spoke to all, 'We will now deepen the link and I will initiate the rapport. We will take the rapport was deep as we can without sex, for the time being.' Undawa deepened the link and then initiated rapport, which due to the size of the group had an odd effect. The rapport between Undawa, Murray, Randy, and Pete automatically materialized then spread to Anthony and Josh through Randy and Pete, then slowly each of the others were added one at a time, until all thirteen of them were in rapport. Undawa started deepening the rapport, bringing down his walls first; then Murray followed the lead, then Randy and Pete at the same time, closely followed by Josh and Anthony. The remaining new guys slowly lowered their walls together until full rapport was established. By a watch, the process had taken thirty minutes, but it felt like only five minutes had passed. When the full rapport was finally broken by Undawa and everyone emerged back into reality, three hours had passed and there were new expressions on the faces of everyone. It was like they were one great big happy family.
Undawa said, "My, what an experience! I have never participated in such a large rapport and I feel totally refreshed, like you guys energized me, instead of feeling like I had spent my last node of energy. Tonight I meet with the male teachers and possibly include a few of the male staff, as they are also graduates of this Academy. Tomorrow morning I want you all to meet after breakfast, in my office, so that we can begin your training. Now, all of you, off to dinner. Nothing that has been said or experienced in here is to be spoken of where other people can hear." The seven new members left for the Dining Hall.
"That went so well, that I am speechless,"
said Randy; the others just nodded their heads fully agreeing with his
assessment of the rapport.
The main core of the group made their way to the Dining Hall and enjoyed a wonderful dinner.
After dinner, Undawa and the core group met with Mage Lomez, Magus Armstrong, Magus Aziz, and Mage Bond in Undawa's study. He offered wine to all and after giving everyone a glass of his choice, he started to present his case.
"I have gathered you here tonight to discuss the
need for three teachers, if possible, to be added to the defence teams. What we
require are men who are sure of themselves and their bodies and are either 'gay'
or 'bi'." Murmurs could be heard when the 'gay' or 'bi' reference was made. "The
reason for this is simple. Every member who has been chosen from the student
body—as well as Murray and myself—is gay. We have to be able to participate in
sex magic, and to develop the rapport required for our defensive and offensive
teams. The level of rapport will produce the greatest magic, for the
spells that must be cast to protect us should The Darkness or any other
malevolent entity try to attack the Academy or one of us individually.
"Is there anyone here, who is opposed to this ... No? Okay, so could I ask that Magus Ron Armstrong come with Murray, Pete, and Randy into my office for a moment? We will get to the rest of you as quickly as possible."
They all sat in wing-back chairs, except for Ron, who sat in the straight-back chair. "Ok, Ron, I would like you to link us and then take us into rapport. Everyone joined hands and Ron smoothly linked everyone and then, just as smoothly, brought them into rapport. They all dropped their walls and the rapport deepened to almost ecstasy. Here was a man they could love and work with beyond a shadow of a doubt. Undawa indicated that it was sufficient and Ron brought them up from the rapport and gently released the link. They stood up and each of them hugged Ron who was smiling from ear to ear.
Undawa and Ron left the office and Undawa was back with Mohammed Aziz. They repeated the exercise, but Mohammed could not lower his walls, no matter how hard he tried. All were disappointed as Mohammed was a very well liked and respected teacher.
Mohammed and Undawa left the office and Undawa was back with Jess Bond. The experience was just as great, as with Ron, and they each quickly hugged Jess, who had tears of joy in his eyes.
Undawa and Jess left the office and Undawa was back with Adolfo Lomez. Again the experience was as enjoyable as with Ron and Jess. They had found their three final members for the teams. Again, hugs were exchanged and they all left the office. Ron and Jess were still in the study and they hugged Adolfo as well.
Undawa poured another wine for those present and saluted the newest members. "Welcome aboard, gentlemen! It will be a great pleasure for us all to be working together. I will have to change some assignments for the remaining teachers, but I want you three to join us here in the study, tomorrow morning after breakfast."
The following morning after breakfast, all the members of the teams assembled in Undawa's study. "After this morning, there will be a new way of accessing the Hidden Chamber, as I call it, because of its size. So we won't all have to cram in here. Follow me, please," said Undawa as he led the party through his office and through to the Hidden Chamber.
"If everyone would please sit around the table, in whichever location you fancy, we will go into rapport before we start the work today." Undawa choose the seat he had used the day before and everyone else found their places. Undawa started the link and, quickly, everyone was joined, they took them into rapport. Everyone's walls went down at the same time and the depth of rapport was phenomenal. Joyous bursts could be felt throughout as the guys found in others what they were looking for to complete themselves.
As they slowly came down from the heights they had achieved, there were very few dry eyes. "Just look at what we can do without everyone being involved in the sex, imagine where we will go after that has occurred," whispered Randy, in wonder.
"Randy, where are you and Pete in the reading?" asked Undawa.
"Offensive strategy, tactics, and spells, Part 2."
"Okay, that is where Murray and I are at as well, and I need to take care of a few administrative tasks this morning. Can you hold off on that until I can join in with you this afternoon? Get TA to recommend the next reading assignment and also have him start with the rest of the group."
"No problem; alright guys, we cannot do the reading in such a large group, so let's separate the tables and create groups of four. I would like it if a teacher could be included in each group."
"TA can you hear me?"
"Yes, Randy, I have full auditory capability in this room."
"Wonderful. Did you hear that we need to begin the new groups with reading materials?"
"Yes, Randy. I am selecting the material now and it will be teleported to each desk. I can take over training how to access the material, if you wish."
"That would be great! What do you recommend for Pete, Murray, and me?"
"It is on its way as we speak."
Suddenly a book appeared on each table and TA's voice could be heard.
"Gentlemen, please take your seats and we shall begin. I would like you to link, as a pair using the inner hands and then once you have reached rapport, I want you to touch the book. Make sure your hands are touching on the book and it will allow your rapport to be shared by all four.
This will initiate the training session. These books I have given you have a training length of approximately three hours. They will stop automatically when you get to the end, or if your hands leave the book; they will begin again once you touch the book a second time." And so the great training began.
Undawa was meeting with Adept Lani about the girls' impressions the day before. "They appeared to be very excited about the possibility of finding the raw material and finding ways of creating thinner softer fabrics for the new robes for everyone. The ones who were specializing in air/water were trying to find a way to make it rain for the crops, though there did not appear to be any problem with ground-water levels. They were thinking about rain as a way of just having a weather change every once and a while.
Back to the fabrics; they wanted to bring in anyone who was interested in the project and who had asked that it be discussed at dinner time. It would give those who were not involved in the defence, a purpose that would take their minds off the fact they no longer saw friends except at meal time. And their friends could not contribute much to the conversation as they were taking everything as having a security level clearance."
Undawa chuckled, but said, "I hate to agree with them, but right now, until everything is matched up and in place, we have to treat it as if there is a possible enemy among us. That will shortly be remedied."
After the meeting, Undawa opened the safe and took out the original plans for the Academy. Starting with the basement, he built a spell that took the information from each page and created a model in the air that was see-through but colour coded. There were hidden rooms on every floor, including the basement. There were also areas that did not make sense to Undawa; they were very small round circles that appeared in the hidden rooms and on every floor. 'TA, what are these blue circles that I see on every floor and in every hidden room?'
'Those are the detailed locations of the teleport pads that you must create for fast travel when required in an emergency. I have Randy, Pete, and Murray studying about how to create those pads.'
'Good work, TA. Do we require any materials that must be incorporated into the spells?'
'Yes we do, but you will find then in a storeroom, I have indicated in blue, in the basement."
"We took the basement when we ended up here? I didn't know; it turns out there is a lot about this Academy that I do not know, even with being Headmaster for forty years. What other surprises are in store for me? Can those rooms above the Hidden Chamber be made into manufacturing and production areas?'
'Yes, that is their purpose. With the interest in creating new fabrics—as your robes are too warm to wear in this climate—I have already created all machinery required to produce the type of cloth you are researching.'
'TA, I want you to contact Adept Lani and inform her of all information you have concerning this project. I will bring her back into the office and enter a light rapport with her, so that you can meet.'
'As you wish, Headmaster.'
Undawa mind-spoke to Li Lani and asked her to return to his office. He waved his hand and the replica of the Academy disappeared and he placed the plans back into his office safe.
Adept Lani knocked on the office door and Undawa ushered her into the office and to one of the wing-back chairs. He sat in the other chair and told her what he wanted to do and why. Li agreed to the light rapport. When they had reached the level he wished; he mind-spoke to TA. 'Please come and meet another member of my teaching staff, TA.' Lani was able to hear him and then felt the presence of an entity joining into their rapport.
'Greetings, Adept Li Lani. I am TA and wish to assist you in the endeavours you and the students have started.' Undawa said his good byes and broke from the rapport he had with Lani.
She was still in rapport with TA and their conversation was quite lengthy. Undawa returned a little later and poured a glass of white wine for himself and Lani and interrupted their conversation telling TA that he could continue tomorrow with Lani and the apprentices who had expressed interest in the project.
Li was most impressed with TA and informed Undawa of the information that had been imparted. She was almost delirious with happiness that there was a source of so much information at her finger tips. "How do I contact TA, again?" Undawa provided the information that she should get everyone into a light rapport as they had just done and then invite TA to join. Sipping her wine, Li expressed her appreciation for everything he was doing for their project.
"It is the least I can do; when I find information that is important to others, I will always share the source. I feel, within a little while, everyone in the Academy will know TA and that will be a good thing. He is like an intelligent watch dog, who wants to know everyone under his care; luckily he can't lick us, ha ha."
Undawa continued to sip his wine with Li and they spoke of other school concerns. He was most interested in her observations and told her he would start working on them in the morning. They finished their business and went their separate ways. Undawa was surprised to see Murray and Ron waiting for him at his suite.
