Chapter 26
Monday morning Pops met Annie at the bus station and took her to PHS. He waited while a James Smite gave the computer test. Annie, of course, was as nervous as you could get. Pops gave her a bottle of water so if her mouth got dry in talking, she could wet it. Mr. Smite was polite enough. but you could tell he wasn't real keen on hiring Annie. Pops knew what Jack Harvey had said, "If Annie passed the test, the job was hers."
"You may be nervous when you start, so make sure you go over that part but after a while it'll just be you and the paper. So don't worry about anything else." Pops told Annie.
The interview with Mr. Smite, was not very intense. She had been studying computers for 2 years but did have any work experience. Mr. Smite smirked but continued on. Just like Pops said after she got into the test, she found it very easy; and was very confident but she did go back to the beginning and corrected some stupid errors. She handed it into Mr. Smite who asked her to wait. He had orders from Jack to grade the test immediately and call him with the results. "Mr. Harvey, I have the results of the test."
"Well, how did she do, Jim?"
"Way better than I expected; as a matter of fact, she got 97% correct. Only a couple of our college grads did that well."
"Great, Jim, that is just great news. Now, you hire immediately; I don't want some other company stealing her from us. Do all your new hire paper work and send her up to see me. Understand Jim?"
"Yes sir, I think I can get away with starting her at a little less than normal, do you agree?"
"Jim, you do that and I'll fire you on the spot. We don't do that to people, especially one like Annie who has worked so hard to improve her life and take care of her son. I'm half tempted to fire you just for suggesting it."
"Oh, oh sorry, Mr. Harvey. I just thought I could save the company some money."
"Well, maybe we should start saving money by cutting your salary 10% . What do you think of that, Jim?"
"Yes, Mr. Harvey, I'll start her at the company norm just as you said."
"Full benefits after 3 months, Jim. Got it?"
"Yes sir, I'll get to it right away."
Mr. Smite went over everything with Annie; starting salary was $52,000 with an automatic increase after 6 months; full health benefits after 3 months company paid for her and her son; vacation and sick leave would start to accrue after 3 months. Annie did her best to not sit there with her mouth open. She listened politely. "Any questions then, Mrs. Nunez."
"No, I don't think so. It's kind of hard to process all at once."
Mr. Smite knew this was not a situation where he could be petty. "Well, if there are, please come and see me and I'll straighten it out for you. Now Mr. Harvey wants to see you. So, if you'll come with me, I'll take you to his office."
Annie thought to herself Mr. Smite's attitude certainly has changed. Maybe I did real good on that test. Mr. Smite knocked on Jack Harvey's office door. Jack said "Come in."
"I brought Mrs. Nunez up to see you Mr. Harvey."
"That was nice of you Jim, thank you very much. Come in Annie. Close the door on your way out, Jim."
"Well, Annie, I have to tell you that you scored really high on our little test. 97% is pretty good; yes sir, pretty darn good. A lot of our college boys didn't do as well as you."
"Really? Oh, my gosh. Thank you, Mr. Harvey."
"Well Annie, I know just having a good paying job is not enough to get you out of the shelter. You need to find a house or an apartment; furniture; please don't take offense, but business clothes to wear, and figure out transportation to get to work. So, I'm going to give you a check for $5000.00 that you will have to pay back over 2 years; which will be $48.00 and some change out of you pay check every week. That should help you get your housing. But you'll need furnishings, so here is a credit card with a $5000.00 limit; it's in your name but I co-signed for you. The billing will go directly to you once you get your place. Karen, my wife, has asked me if she can take you shopping and help get you a couple of work outfits. How does all this sound? It's not charity, and you'll have to pay it back."
"Ohh, Mr. Harvey, I don't know what to say. Yes, it's all wonderful, thank you so much."
"Well, you have a lot to do in only a week’s time. I know Karen will help all that she can, and if I know Pops Calahan, he'll help, too. I want you to know if this works out with you, we'll make contact with the shelter director and try to hire other qualified people as opportunities come up. So, you are the test case; I want you to know you can help other people at the shelter as well. Now, I expect you to see Jim Smite at 8:00 o'clock sharp on next Monday morning, he'll show you to the computer department and introduce you to your co-workers. Are we good?"
"Yes, Mr. Harvey, I'll be there and I'll do the best job I know how for you and your company. Thank you again."
Annie found her way down to reception, saw Mr. Smite in human services and told him she would see him Monday morning. If there wasn't anything else, she didn't want to keep Pops waiting any longer.
Annie's smile told Pops all that he needed to know. Yes, she got the job and had to get an apartment and furnishings and clothes.
Pops said "Well the first thing, I think you need to do is get out of the shelter and stay with me until you find a place. Then establish a budget, so you'll know what you can spend on rent and food and utilities. Then decide where you want to live. Do you have your license?"
"Wow, Pops, this isn't going to be easy, is it? Yes, I have my license."
"Good, then we have to try to squeeze a car out of your money on hand. I don't think you can go fancy, yet; 4 wheels that runs with heat, AC, and radio. Anything beyond that is gravy."
"Gee, thanks, Pops, you are great at organizing. If possible, I would like to live right here in Hopewell. Billy already has friends here and what I see of it, it is a nice clean town."
"Ok good, that will make things easier but it's a little on the expensive side. I'll put out some feelers for a 2-bedroom apartment. Lets see what comes back. I'm going to guess at somewhere between $1500 to $1800 a month. Let's have lunch, I'll make some calls, and after we'll go into the city and get your stuff and Billy."
"OK, I'll make lunch; you do your calls." Pops knew some realtors in town and dialed them up, he also called Mr. Acker. He thought he had some properties around town. Mr. Acker said, he just had one come empty. It was a second-floor walk-up two blocks behind the school. He could show it tomorrow. After hearing who it was for, and the circumstances, he said he would keep the realtor out of it; so, no commission and 1 month security and 1 month rent." How much can she afford?"
"Only about $1500.00 a month."
"Well, that is quite a bit less than I usually get for it. The last tenant paid $1900.00, but considering who it is for I'll do it, but I'm gonna raise it next year."
"Well, lets see if she likes it."
"Oh, I'm sure she will, the rooms are large. It is nice and bright, the kitchen and bath were updated 3 years ago. I pay the heat, hot water, and cooking gas, she pays the electric."
"Sounds great, thanks, Mr. Acker."
"Say, maybe I can make a deal to have Billy help with all my properties. Let me think about that."
"That's a good idea, and it will be a good experience for him."
Over lunch, they talked over the apartment and a budget. After taxes Annie would have about $750.00, then the $48.00 goes to Mr. Harvey, down to $700.00, figure $375.00 for rent a week, down to $325.00, $150.00 for food, down to $175.00 left for car insurance, gas, credit card bills, internet and TV. It would be tight for sure. But there was a little extra because there were 52 paychecks, not 48. Billy could help out with money from his odd jobs, too, and Annie would get a raise in 6 months.
They went into the city. Annie got her stuff and said her good byes to Luke and other friends she had made at the shelter. She told Luke about what Mr. Harvey had said about having shelter folks work for him. Pops said he could arrange a meeting for them. Annie said she would not let him down and she'll get more jobs for the shelter people. They texted Billy and told him they would pick him up from school. They took Billy into the office and asked for his records to be sent to Pops. Billy figured it out immediately and started dancing about. "Oh, Mom, this is so great, I am so proud of you. Oh, wow, fantastic". Annie started to tear up, as she saw how excited and happy Billy was. His smile literally went from ear to ear. Billy came over and hugged her so tight. "I am so proud of you, Mom, I love you so much. This is the best thing that has ever happened in my life." On the way home to Pops', they told him about the apartment and living in Hopewell. He started to cry tears of joy. Annie demanded to make dinner that night and Billy helped. It was a very happy house; Josh was ecstatic knowing that his best friend ever would be going to school with him. Later, when all were asleep and Pops got up for his middle of the night pee, he checked all his charges; they were all sleeping peacefully and sound. "No bad dreams from this bunch tonight. Thank you, God" He whispered to himself.
Mr. Acker showed Annie, Billy and Pops the apartment the next morning. Billy was running from room to room "Look, Mom, we can see the school from here; look, Mom, there is a washer and a dryer. No more lugging to the laundromat, look Mom, a microwave in the kitchen and look at the refrigerator with water and ice cubes in the door. Look how clean it is. Mom. Annie smiled and questioned Mr. Acker.
"How much will all this cost, Mr. Acker."
"Well, Annie, Mr. Calahan explained about your situation so I'm willing to give a special arrangement. If Billy helps take care of the grounds, leaves, snow, and grass, I wouldn't need a landscaper, and if he keeps the hall clean, and if the downstairs tenant moves out, cleans and paints that unit. I'll rent it to you for $1500.00 a month; I'll pay for the gas, heat, hot water and water bill. You take care of the electric bill."
"I can do that stuff, easy, Mom. Can we live here Mom? Can you afford it with the new job, please Mom?"
"Mrs. Nunez, it's only because I know Billy and Mr. Calahan here that I am willing to do this. The last tenant paid $1925.00 a month. Ohh, one other thing if Billy wants, I'll pay him to help me take care of my other properties at $20.00 an hour when I need him."
"Ohh wow, Mom, $20.00 an hour. I'll do my best for you Mr. Acker. Say yes, Mom."
Pops said, "Annie, if you want to live in Hopewell, this is the very best deal you can get."
"I know, and thank you so much; it's just a little scary." Annie had tears in her eyes. "I don't know how to say thank you. Yes, of course I'll take it. The apartment is fabulous."
Billy gave out a whoop and went over to hug his mom.
Both Pops and Mr. Acker said, "I hope the 2 of you will be very happy here."
Annie and Billy, after so many years of struggling just to stay alive, now had a home of their own.
Mr. Acker gave Annie the keys and said he would draw up a lease and drop by later, but he would call first. Pops said "Ok, one big thing out of the way, next you need furniture and a car and clothes. You'll have to give Mr. Acker, $3000.00 with the security, so you have $2000.00 left from the advance Mr. Harvey gave you. Let's go home have some lunch and we can do some on-line car shopping. Looks like you have $2000.00 cash money for the car. You might be able to get something reliable for that."
Billy piped up "Hey, don't forget the money I made. How much do I have, Pops?"
"I think right around $350.00."
"I have $150.00 from my work at McDonalds, too." Annie contributed.
On the way home Pops stopped at his bank for Annie to set up a checking account. She deposited the $5000.00 check from Mr. Harvey.
Once home, Pops went on line and found an older Hyundai Elantra with 85,000 miles and a 6-month warrantee. The price was $2200.00. "Annie, what do you think of this car."
"I don't know much about cars, Pops. I'm gonna have to trust your judgment."
"Well, these cars come with a 10 year or 100,000-mile warrantee. There is only 6 months left but that is way better than no warrantee. The body doesn't look bad, the tires look good, and these cars get pretty good gas mileage." For what you have to spend, I think this is pretty good. I'll make sure it is available and if you want, we can look at it this afternoon."
The phone rang, it was Karen Harvey. Pops answered. Karen asked, "So how's our girl doing, Pops?"
"Pretty good, Karen; things are moving fast for her. We saw an apartment this morning, in a two family. Billy did some snow shoveling for the owner and he was impressed with him. So, he cut the rental by almost $500.00 with the understanding that Billy helps take care of the place. It's newly renovated 2 bedroom in a 2 family behind the high school. Perfect for Billy to walk to school."
"That is great, Pops."
"Yes Karen, and I think we just found Annie a car to get back and forth to work. We want to look at it this afternoon. "
"Will she have enough money for that, Pops."
"I think so. It's only $2200.00, but should last her a couple of years, and you know a car is a must in this area."
"For sure, you are right about that. Well, I just wanted to see when I could take her shopping."
"Let me put her on so you girls can decide. She has to do furniture shopping as well as all the household items. I thought Ikea would be the best place. But let me put her on."
Annie got on the phone. "Hi, Mrs. Harvey, things are moving so fast for me. Pops has been a great help."
"Yes, he is a handy fellow, that is for sure. So, when can you squeeze me in for your new clothes?"
"Gee, let me think, we have so much to do and get."
"How about tomorrow or Thursday morning, both days are free for me."
"Ok, good. Let me talk to Pops and I'll call you back. I also might need a little help in getting things for the apartment. If I leave it to Pops and Billy for sure it will turn out to be a man cave."
Karen laughed at that. "I completely understand."
"They have been so helpful, but sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed. I would feel so much better to have woman's input. I hate to ask; your family has been so good to Billy and me, but could you help me out a little."
Karen was delighted. She was fearful that she would be pushing herself on Annie. "Of course, Annie, we don't want your home becoming a man cave. You let me know when and I'll help you keep those men in check."
"Thank you, so much, Karen. Do you want to do the house and the clothes the same day, or will it be too much?"
"I think if you do Ikea tomorrow and clothes on Thursday that will be better. You can leave Pops and Billy to take care of putting stuff away and setting up furniture, while we are out clothes shopping on Thursday."
"Ok, I'll get with Pops and get back with you as to what time for Ikea tomorrow. Thank you again, Karen."
Pops said "Ikea doesn't open till 10:00 AM, so maybe Karen can meet us at the apartment at 9:00 so she can get an idea of what the place looks like and better know what you need. Maybe make a list of items."
They went down and saw the car about 40 miles away in Freetown. It was exactly what Annie needed; solid transportation, clean and he hoped reliable, functional heater, AC, and radio; a nice silver color. Pops got them to lower the price another $100.00 and put it in his and Annie's name so he could get insurance on it immediately for her. He also put it on his credit card so Annie would have some working money until she started to get paid and he wouldn't get the bill for another 30 days. The car was only $2100.00 but tax and registration brought it to $2540.00. Annie was going to have to get insurance based on her apartment address.
The smiles on Annie's and Billy's faces were well worth the ride as they got into the car for the drive back to Pops house. The dealer washed and cleaned the car inside and out. It smelled, and felt, just like a new car. Pops had called Josh and told him they were busy at the dealer and he would have to walk home. "No problem, Pops, I can use the exercise. What time will you be back?"
"I guess about 4:00 or 4:30"
"Anything you want me to do about supper. I can fix stuff, I like cooking."
"How about I let you call in the pizza order. After the busy day we've had it'll be a lot easier."
"OK, Pops."
Mr. Acker called with the lease for Annie. Pops said for sure they would be home by 5:00 o'clock and he could come by any time after that. They pulled into the driveway at 4:15. Billy showed Josh the car; “See the seats fold down in the back for more storage, there's storage in the doors, this is the radio, and look, air conditioning for the summer." “Neat car, Billy." Josh said.
Mr. Acker stopped by with the lease. Annie gave him his check and signed everything. Officially now, the Nunez's were no longer homeless. The pizza had showed up, along with Mr. Acker. Pops said that called for a celebration and all 5 of them, including Mr. Acker, had pizza and Red wine. It went very well together. Mr. Acker, as well as Pops, had 2 glasses and the boys wiggled another half glass, as well. Annie said someone had to have their wits about them and she decided to be the sober one. Mr. Acker said Mrs. Acker was going to give him a scolding when he got home but it has been worth it. He said he would demand pizza and wine for his next birthday. It was a happy group that wished him a safe journey for his little ride home.
Pops thought it was worth a try to give the manager of Ikea a call. He was hoping for some sort of a volume discount. After all, they had to get the furnishings for 2 bedrooms, a living room , a dining area and a kitchen. He explained that a recently homeless single mom, with her son, had just got a decent job and was establishing a new home. Besides the furnishing they would need all sorts of house hold items. The manager was quite sympathetic. Ikea had a program that he could use. It would give them an extra 15% off everything they bought in the store. Just come to the customer service desk and provide your name and the discount card will there for you. "Wow, thank so much. My son works as the director of a shelter in the city. Would be alright if I tell him about this program so others can take advantage of your program."
"Yes, please do, Mr. Calahan. Ikea is here to help. Homelessness is a devastating circumstance and if we can help, we want to do it."
Pops put down the phone and mutter to himself, "I almost didn't call. The squeaky wheel gets the grease." The boys, busy with Xbox, stopped and looked at him like he was going crazy until he explained and then they said "Good work, Pops."
He told Annie the good news and she was most grateful. She was busy making the household list -- Dishes, Glasses, Pots, Silverware, Towels, Bathmat, Sheets, Blankets, Pillow Cases, Cooking Utensils, Curtains or Blinds for the windows. Wow, we need so much stuff. How much will this all cost?
Pops said "Just keep it to essentials. As you work, you'll add things as you go along. I have some of what you need here. It's all extra stuff now, that we had built up when the kids were home. You'll be doing me a big favor by helping me, cleaning my closets. Let's take a look. I'll show you what I don't use." Pops and Annie came up with some towels and quilts and blankets and bed linens that he didn't even know he had. They were clean, without holes, a little worn but still very usable. Likewise, they went through his kitchen drawers and came up with a bunch of kitchen utensils that he rarely used for Annie. Annie was feeling a lot better. She knew with Pops' help she was gonna be okay, in her and Billy's new home. It was a tired, but happy bunch that went upstairs to bed at 11:00 o'clock. Pops got up for his middle of the night pee and as was his habit now checked on his charges. Annie was sound asleep as was Josh, but Billy was sitting up on his bed. "Pops" he whispered. "Pops, can I sleep in with you."
"Sure, come on Billy."
Billy jumped off the bed and barefooted over to Pops; who put his arm around Billy's bare shoulders. Pops pulled back the covers and Billy jumped in. Then, he got in the other side of his bed. The almost naked boy snuggled up to the old man. Billy felt ‘ohh, so safe’ now.
Pops asked "How come you couldn't sleep, Billy."
"I don't know Pops, moving out of the shelter into our own house is what we wanted so very, very much but it's all happening so fast. What if it's too much for mom and she goes back to the drugs?"
"Billy, I don't think that will happen, but let's just say it does. You'll be a lot closer to the people that really care about you, like Josh and me. But from what I know, your mom had issues with drugs because she had nowhere to go for help; she had a little boy she loved so much and needed to take care of but had no skills to do it with. So, she turned to selling drugs and then, as times got harder, she tried them and got addicted. She now has skills; she has a way to do for you what she always wanted to do. Sure, it's possible, she could relapse but I don't think so. She's worked too hard to get to this point. Your mom is a survivor, not a quitter and she is very smart too. You know she got one of the highest scores ever on the aptitude test at Mr. Harvey's company."
Billy climbed on top of Pops and hugged him and kissed him and not on the cheek. "Thanks, Pops, you always know what to tell me. You always take my worries away. I love you, Pops." Pops could feel Billy's excitement growing in his skimpy underwear. Truth be told, he liked having the boy close to him. As Billy laid on his chest, Pops could feel his own excitement growing. He half-hoped Billy wouldn't feel it, or take notice. But Billy squirmed down and rubbed his body over Pops' member.
Billy said "Was it okay that I kissed you, Pops?"
"Well Billy, it was more of a boy / girl kiss and I'm not a girl."
"I know, Pops, but I needed to do it; you helped me and mom so much. Can I be the girl with you?"
With that Billy kissed Pops again, this time their tongues touched tentatively at first but then with more passion than Pops thought he had in him. Billy, with all his teenage passion, kept sucking Pops' tongue into his mouth. It wasn't enough, he so desperately wanted more. Something bigger and harder, in his gayness, he knew he wanted to suck Pops' cock. He needed cock. He knew he was a gay boy and he so much wanted to show his love of Pops, by sucking his cock. He pulled Pops shirt up and kissed his old man nipples. He sent shivers up Pops' spine. Billy felt Pops' cock twitch under him. His cock was on top of Pops'; he licked the nipple again and felt Pops twitch again. Pops was losing control; his mind said he had to stop Billy but his body could not resist. Billy kissed him again, sucking his tongue into him. Pops let out a soft moan. Billy slipped his hand into Pops' boxers and felt his hardness. He tugged on it a bit. Then he deftly turned around so his ass and groin were at Pops' face. He pulled down Pops' boxers and lapped at the pre-cum oozing from the boner. "I want to suck you, Pops. I want to suck your hard cock. I want you to fill me with your love juice. Tell me to do it, Pops. Please let me do it Pops. Please, Please."
Pops had denied himself for years and years. His couldn't help himself. His hands went up on Billy's beautiful smooth ass checks. He tore at his underwear. Billy lifted one leg and then the other so he could be naked for Pops. He so wanted to be Pops' naked little boy. He lowered himself down on Pops. His raging hard teen boner resting on Pops' lips. Pops breathed in the scent of the boy. He loved it. All his stop reflexes were blow away. He found his tongue coming out of his mouth so he could lick Billy's most private part. Between muffled licks on Billy's cock, he said "Yes, do it, Billy, take my love tool, help me fill you with my cream." He moaned as Billy engulfed his tool in his warm moist wet mouth. Sucking him in he could feel Billy’s desire to have his cream; sucking on his tool with all the strength of his strong young body. Pops picked Billy up by his hips so he too could savor cock; strong rigid teen boy cock. The pungent smell of the cock was filling him with desire. The taste of the boy precum was like honey on his tongue. He wanted more. Pops wanted Billy's seed as much as he wanted to give Billy his seed. He bobbed his head up and down on the rigid spear in his mouth. With the cock in his mouth his hands caressed the beautiful mounds of Billy's slender boy ass. He spread his cheeks and fingered Billy's hole sending shivers of pleasure through Billy. Billy increased his pleasuring of Pops' cock as he moaned from Pops’ tender loving of his cock and ass. He had the biggest desire to have Pops’ cock in him. If only he could be Pops' pussy boy, giving his ass to Pops. Pops inserted a finger into Billy's tight ass. The penetrating of his hole by Pops was driving him over the edge. When Pops' finger hit his precious G spot, he exploded his cum into Pops' mouth. Tasting Billy's sweet boy-seed flipped Pops as well. The two of them emptied their seed into each other's mouths. Pops sucked Billy dry not losing a drop; then kissed the boy's cock and grabbing his ass, kissed and licked his rosebud. Billy was moaning and saying he wanted to be fucked. Pops just held his ass close to his mouth till Billy came down from his orgasm high. Billy turned around, and in his nakedness, laid on top of Pops; kissing him all over thanking him for loving him. Pops returned Billy's kisses with kisses of his own. Pops' mind returned to him and he knew he would have to tell Billy never again, but he was so enjoying caressing the slender young body lying on him. He lovingly, tenderly caressed Billy's back and ass cheeks. Billy cooed from his touch. Billy wanted to be here, naked with Pops for the rest of his life. He soon fell fast asleep; feeling so safe and loved with Pops holding him. As Pops too was dozing off, he thought it's a good thing he will have a new home and not be sleeping here. After tonight, it might become impossible to not make love to Billy.
The next morning Billy was wrapped around Pops. His beautiful young cock had its morning wood. Pops quickly searched for and found Billy's underwear. He gently shook Billy and had him get his undies on. Then went in to the bathroom to pee himself and take his shower. Billy came after him and the two shared the bowl as they peed. Billy's hard woodie gushing out pee; Pops' limp noodle trickling out drop by drop. Billy went back to bed for an extra few minutes as Pops took his shower. He then started breakfast. Slowly the house came alive as Josh in his skimpy undies went for his pee and shower. He was going to streak to his bedroom when he heard Annie in the hall. So, he wrapped a towel around his sexy boy parts. Annie did her thing as well and coming out of the shower went to rouse Billy but not finding him in his bed, then looked in Pops bedroom. She shook him awake. "What are you doing here? Why aren't you in your own bed?"
Billy had the bed clothes wrapped around him. "Jeeze, mom, I couldn't sleep; thinking about all the new stuff and everything. It is all happening so fast. It just got me nervous and Pops said when I felt like that, I should see him. He was up for his middle of the night pee, anyway. He helped me get to sleep. When I'm like that he makes me feel safe, like maybe my Dad would have done. He's the closest thing to a dad that I've ever had. Why the 3rd degree? "
"I'm sorry Billy, I don't know what I was thinking. I know it's been hard not growing up with a dad. Pops is a good man. I'm glad you have that kind of trusting relationship."
"It's ok, Mom, now I know you don't like seeing me in my underwear so let me get up and take my shower, ok."
"Go on son, we have a busy day ahead of us. But remember this I changed your diapers and know all about your boy parts."
"Yeah, well they've gotten bigger and you said if wasn't polite for me being in my underwear in front of you."
"Ok, OK, I'm going downstairs now to help with breakfast."
Annie went downstairs. Billy laid back down for just a second. Josh peaked his head around the corner. Then came in naked as the day he was born but with a much bigger boy cock. "Hey Billy, wanna help me out with this." Waving his cock around.
"What about Jenny?"
"A guy's got to do what a guy's got to do. We have always been buddies, what do you say."
"I know Pops says we are not supposed to put labels on ourselves, but I'm pretty sure I am gay. You sure you want me playing with your cock."
Josh's dick was hard as a rock "Yup, I'm sure. Do you want to suck it?"
Billy just licked his lips "Bring it over here and anytime you need help you call me. I bet my blow jobs are better than Jenny's"
Josh came over and Billy went to work. Licking and sucking the hard cock. He looked up at Josh and said "You know I really like doing this. I like cock." He went back to work, Josh was oozing precum, Billy reached a hand around to Josh's ass and slipped his finger between Josh's ass cheeks and rubbed his rosebud. Josh shivered and his cock twitched each time Billy touched his ass. Billy tried to put his finger in Josh's ass and Josh exploded cum all over Billy's face. "Hey stupid, you are supposed to keep it in my mouth, so I can gobble up your cum." Josh laughed and scooped some off of Billy's face and feed it to him. Billy licked Josh's cock clean, every last drop. Then grabbed his own dick and started to jerk off. Josh was in a quandary, but decided to hold Billy while he jerked off. As he shot rope after rope, Billy reached over and kissed him. Josh kissed him back and he wanted too. Josh thought he must be bisexual to have these feeling for Billy as well as the feeling for Jenny.
"Thanks buddy, you know I really liked that. Maybe I'm a real swinger; a Bisexual Boy."
Billy laughed, "Hey we gotta get moving. Go get dressed, Mr. Bisexual."
Billy took a fast shower and got dressed. Josh lingered a while so he could come down stairs with his buddy. "What's for breakfast?" they both asked in unison. Pops had french toast, coffee, juice, and slabs of bacon all ready for the hungry teens. "Annie, why don't you see if Karen can meet us at the apartment after we drop off Josh at school. Then we can go from there to IKEA." The plan was set.
At the apartment Karen and Annie measured the windows for curtains or blinds, also checked for wall space. At Ikea they got 2 double beds in case of sleepovers and some extra room, a kitchen / dining room table with 4 chairs, a couch and 2 end tables, an extra living room chair, paper blinds for the windows, 2 bedroom dressers, and Annie was out $2000.00. Pops wanted them to have a desk for Billy to do homework on and Annie to keep track of her bills and expenses. He brought it as a house warming gift. Karen chipped in with a nice rolling desk chair. It was just about lunch time, so they ate at the IKEA’s cafeteria. Karen asked Pops if she and Annie could go clothes shopping after lunch. "Sure, that is a good idea. Billy and I can load the van with all the stuff; get it over to the apartment and start to assemble and set it up." Annie gave Billy a set of keys. They were off on their assigned tasks.
Loading was kind of hard for Pops what with his arthritis. Billy said "Pops, you only help the things that need two men. This way we'll save some of your strength." Pops agreed. "Hey Pops, thanks so much for the desk. I hope I can use the money I made to get a computer."
"I think that's an excellent use for it. I'm pretty sure your Mom will agree. Boy, we got a lot of stuff to assemble. After school lets out, I'll see if Josh can help us."
The work of making a house into home had begun in earnest. Josh even grabbed Jesse to help on the assembly. Pops got his tools and he became the supervisor and instruction reader. One of the first things they assembled was a chair for him to sit on. Standing was killing his back. Beds and Kitchen table and chairs were a priority. But with Pops' direction the boys got an assembly line going. Soon the dressers were done and then the desk and chair, finally the end tables and the couch. The boys had just sat themselves down on the comfy couch when Karen and Annie arrived with packages galore. The weary boys got them upstairs in no time and carefully spread them out on Annie's bed. Then, they plopped back on the couch. Karen said, "Wow, guys, you did a fantastic job of assembling all the furniture. Let me call Jack and see if he can meet us at Olive Garden for dinner, my treat. Would it be alright if we brought him by to see the apartment, Annie?" Annie, of course, agreed.
At dinner, Pops asked if it was alright to share a little wine with the boys. "They really are young men now and certainly have earned a special treat. Of course, you know over in Europe kids have wine with their meals all the time." Jack said. "It's ok by me, but I don't think we can order wine for them."
"Not to worry, Jack, we'll just order a carafe and share it. If they complain, guys, we'll have to take it away."
No one complained and a fine dinner was had by all. They all laughed over the stories about the boys’ assembling mis-directions. The boys teased Pops as he was the supervisor and only carried things too big for one man. They got on Josh with his genius IQ, about putting the drawers together backwards. It was like a big family. Jack had a great time hearing the stories especially when it came to Jesse's folly. As they were leaving, he said he had such a good time, that for sure he would love to do dinner again, and praised Karen for the idea.
Back at the apartment they showed Jack all the furniture and the features of Mr. Acker's updated luxury apartment. In a quiet moment away from the others, Karen told him with so much love in her eyes that he had made it all happen. Jack had to turn away for just a second. He was touched, tears in his eyes, here they had all created a very good thing. Karen, Jack, and Jesse all said good-bye and Jack said he would see Annie Monday AM.
It was a tired but happy group that got in Pops’ van for the short ride to his little house. Josh went straight to his homework. Billy boxed some of the things Pops and Annie had separated the previous night. Then he asked Annie. "Mom, do you think I could use the money I earned to get a computer."
"Gosh Billy, we already have so much money to pay back. I'm beginning to get scared about how much it will cost to live here. I want you to have it and it is your money. Let me think about it."
Pops overheard the conversation. "Annie, I don't want to butt in where I'm not wanted, but I have a suggestion that might help."
"Yes, Pops."
"Well suppose, I get the computer for Billy. He will pay me back. Over the summer, he'll earn money from Mrs. O'Mara and Mr. Martin, and probably the Ackers. He will need the computer for school work. We need him to get good grades for college. I think, I can get him set up for under $400.00; maybe under $300.00. I know a store that sells refurbished computers and printers. What do you say?"
"Pops, you have already helped us out so much, and we have to pay you back so much money already. Just the car alone is a major expense."
Billy was listening to the back and forth. His heart sank, he was sure he would not get a computer.
"Annie, have I ever asked anything of you? This is something you will both need and use. I'm asking and saying, PLEASE, let me do this. Billy is such a good boy and it is something he needs. I'm asking this from you. What do you say?"
"Ohh, Pops, you know when you put it that way, I can't say no. So, OK. Thank you very much."
Billy ran over to his mom and hugged her and thanked her.
"You better go show Pops some love; he's the one you should be thanking."
Billy ran over to Pops and kissed him and hugged him like there was no tomorrow. Sitting on his lap, "Pops, you are the best grandpa in the whole world. I know I told you that before, but you keep showing it every time I'm with you. I love you, Pops." Then he whispered in Pops ear "and you sure do know your way around my mom."
Karen called Annie with another surprise. "Annie, dear, we have a TV we want you to have and Jack says he has a computer for you to use at home. He foresees you having to work from home from time to time. It's a little much to fit in my car. Could you ask Pops if he could come by with the van and Billy to get it?"
"Oh Karen, I couldn't, you already have given us so much. We can do without TV for a while and we were just having a discussion about getting a computer."
"Annie, please don't be silly now, we have to get you set up in that wonderful apartment that Pops found for you. The TV is older, not one of these new smart ones that Jesse says we need. It is in the basement playroom and is rarely watched. The picture is good on it. I'm sure, it'll get you by until you are in a position to update it. The computer is a laptop that Jack uses for work. He is demanding you have for work. He has had his eye on a new one for some time now, but just couldn't see this one being wasted. So, you will be making him most happy by taking it. He asked that you bring it to work on Monday. Now don't upset your boss before you even get to work."
"Gosh Karen, I guess I can't say no to that. Thank you again. I'll check with Pops and let you know when he can come over. I'll call you back in a bit. Is one time better for you than another? "
"Well, after I drop Jesse at school worked great today. If that's ok, that would be fine."
"I expect that will work for Pops too. I'll call and let you know."
"OK, I'll wait to hear. See you then."
"Bye."
Annie told Pops about Karen's call. "Wow that's great. Sure, I can go over to get it tomorrow after I drop Josh at school. Now a question, do you want Billy using the computer you have to use for work."
"Good question, Pops. I'm not sure. Things can happen. I guess it would be better if the computer was dedicated to only work."
"I see what you mean, what if it got infected with a virus. But let's see if there is anything else there like a printer that he is giving you. That is pretty safe and there is no sense in having to pay for another if Jack is giving you one. It's great they are giving you a TV; one more thing off of your to-buy list. "
"Yes, I still need dishes and pot and pans and kitchen appliances, an iron and a board. Wow setting up a home is hard work and so costly."
"Just keep concentrating on essentials. Maybe we can find some of what you need on Craigslist. It'll be second hand but hopefully usable until you buy new. Quite often you can get some good deals there."
"Ok, Pops, but enough for today. My head is swimming and going under water."
"I completely understand, time for bed for all of us. That wine was great but it makes me sleepy."
Pops looked for Josh and Billy, but they were already upstairs. He took his pills and locked up the house.
Josh and Billy were in Josh's room, that he shared when Billy was there. "Billy, Jenny got me so worked up on the phone tonight. Except for you, I have never known anyone who can turn me on like her. Just talking with her makes me wanna make babies."
"So, what are you saying, Bisexual Boy?"
"Well, it wasn't very nice of me not to return the favor after you took care of me this morning."
"So, you wanna play sexy games, just like we did before you fell in love with Jenny."
"Huh, am I in love with Jenny?"
"Sure seems like it, dude. Come over here and tell me if I turn you on as much as Jenny does."
Josh went over to Billy. Billy grabbed the back of his neck and put a lip lock on Josh. The kiss was deep and passionate. Josh quickly returned the kiss and ran his hands over Billy's back and butt. It seems like forever since they had pleasured each other. Now started, their passion for each other was out of control. They tore at the clothes wanting to be naked. They were teenage boys, their hormones were raging. They took turns getting their shirts off. Now bare-chested, Billy dropped to his knees to undo Josh's pants and get at that throbbing member. Josh wanted to be naked so bad, he had to hold Billy like that. He wanted his flesh and Billy's to be joined together. He wanted to be one with Billy. Billy undid the belt, button, and zipper, and pulled Josh's pants from him. He then slid his hand over Josh's prize; looked up at Josh and smiled. "Your big boy is all ready to play. Are you?" Josh fell to his knees and pushed Billy over onto his back. Turned him into a 69 position and tugged at Billy's pants. He wanted Billy's cock, he needed it in his mouth. The belt, the button, the zipper, then he tugged. Billy raised his ass and Josh had him stripped naked, removing pants and underwear in one motion. Billy's cock was twitching precum and Josh readily lapped at it with his tongue. Billy was savoring Josh’s cock at the same time. Both boys were so wanting the others’ cum. They sucked and stroked and licked their raging hard-ons. They kissed each other’s cock and then it happened they both exploded in each other mouths. They both locked their mouths around the cock and swallowed as best as they could. As they took each other's cum they knew they were getting the essence of the other's life. The cum that they shared was what made each of them who they were. Josh got off Billy and turned 180 degrees around so he could kiss Billy and let him taste some of the cum in his mouth. Billy had some for Josh, as well. Deep down without a spoken word they knew they were not just boys experimenting but lovers. They hugged and caressed each other and whispered that they loved each other. They pushed their beds together and slept in a naked embrace; holding each other sharing their love and giving comfort to each other and feelings of being safe in their embrace.
Pops got up for his middle of the night pee. After doing his stuff, it was now his routine to check on those under his roof. He checked on Annie and she was fast asleep, resting from her hectic day. He went to check on Josh and Billy. As he opened the door, the moon shining through the window silhouetted their beautiful naked bodies in the exotic luminous grey moonlight. Pops thought to himself, you could almost touch the love that was pictured there. The scene was so beautiful to him; he silently thanked God for allowing him this vision. The boys were cuddled close to get warmth from each other. He went over and covered them. First Josh stirred, Pops patted his head and said “ssh, now back to sleep” and kissed him on his forehead. Billy stirred next and when Pops went to kiss his forehead Billy wrapped his arms around Pops' neck and kissed him on the mouth. Billy whispered "I love you, Pops" Pops whispered back "I love you, too, Billy. Now back to sleep with you and make sure you put the beds back in the morning lest Annie gets upset."
The next morning, Friday, Josh was off to school, Annie to Ikea to get dishes, pots and pans and silverware. Pops and Billy went over to the Harvey's for the TV and computer. "Hi Karen, Annie said you had some lugging for us to do."
“Yes, the TV is down in the basement. Would it be easier to use the basement entrance instead of through the house?"
"Yes, I image that would be easier."
Once in the basement Billy marveled at all the stuff; a professional pool table, a ping pong table, a chess board table, a big card table and all sorts of board games. "Wow, quite a set-up, Mrs. Harvey. I bet Jesse uses this a lot." Billy exclaimed.
"I thought he would use it more. He does enjoy pool with his father. We just moved here, too, Billy, so maybe you'll come over with Josh and play some games with him. It's a sin not to use all this."
"I agree 100%, Mrs. Harvey, just tell Jesse to invite us and we'll be here.” During their high school years, Jesse did do that quite often. As a matter of fact, the “Buttons and Spears” gang got quite a bit of use out of the Harvey’s basement. Karen and Jack were pleased that they were able to host several parties for the state basketball champions.
The TV was about 5 years, an old flat screen about 50". Mrs. Harvey said it was rarely used. They watched the one in the living room. They also gathered up the laptop computer that Jack said Annie should have and there was a printer, scanner, an all-in-one unit with it. "Wow, that printer is way kool, Mrs. Harvey; you sure you guys won't use it." Billy exclaimed.
"No hon, Jack has one in his den and Jesse has one in his room and I have one in the kitchen."
"Gee thanks, I guess you guys do a lot of printing with all those printers."
Karen smiled "Well, we are kind of lazy and don't like to walk around that much."
"Wow, thank you so much."
"Ohh, Jack said this goes with it, a supply of paper and some ink cartridges."
Pops said "Well this is awfully generous of you, Karen. Billy no doubt will use it a lot for school papers. Annie decided to let him get his own laptop. So, this one you are giving her will be dedicated to work only."
"Jack will be glad to hear that."
"Well, Billy, let’s take our loot and let Mrs. Harvey get back to her day. I'm sure she has things to do beyond gabbing with the likes of us."
"Oh, nonsense, I do so enjoy your company, Pops, and you too, Billy. But I'm sure you still have things to do setting up that apartment."
With that Pops and Billy carried the TV out to the van. Billy ran back for the laptop and printer making 2 trips so as not to drop or damage anything.
Karen waved good-by to Billy's resounding Thank You's. She smiled knowing that at least this day their wealth and good fortune had done some good. She hoped Jesse would get to have Billy as a friend and that their wealth would not be an obstacle.
It was back to the apartment for Pops & Billy now to set up the TV and to finish up hanging window shades, making up the beds, towels and wash cloths in the bath and putting Billy's clothes away. "I can't believe that this is happening, Pops. I dreamed about it for so long and this is so much better than even the dream."
"Well, I certainly hope you and your mom will be happy here Billy. But remember you helped make this happen. You encouraged your mom to keep at her computer training. You did such a great job helping out Mr. Acker that he gave you a tremendous deal on the rent."
Billy wrapped his hands around Pops' midsection which was no small feat due to Pops’ rather large stomach. "None of it would have happened without you, Pops. You took in Josh and then had me out on weekends. Hey, you saved my mom's life. You got us our snow shoveling jobs. You got Mr. Ackers to rent to us. I want you to know, I will never ever forget you and I'm always gonna come over to your house to help with snow or leaves or anything else you need."
"Why, thank you, Billy. You know, Billy there is something that you can do for me."
"What's that; name it Pops"
"Well, whenever you see somebody that needs a hand or some kind of help. Don't hold back; don't worry about what others might think, help out if you can."
"Ok, that's a deal, Pops, then I would be more like you and that's what I want to be."
Annie climbed the stairs with her packages. Billy went to help. "There's a couple more in the car. Would you get them, dear?"
"Sure, Mom."
Annie rested a moment then went to work setting up her kitchen. Billy helped, Pops rested a bit. Dishes here, Billy; glasses, there closer to the refrigerator; use this drawer for the silverware; put the cooking utensils in the drawer by the stove; pots & pans in this cabinet by the stove. "Say, Pops, how hard is it to set up the pots & pans on a rack like what you have?"
"Oh, that's easy Annie. After lunch I'll get with Billy to do it. He'll be the hands. Only because I'm older, I'll be the brains."
"Sure thing, Pops, I like working with my hands and you showing me how will be twice the fun."
Back at Pops house he checked the mail and there were Billy's school records. “I think after lunch, we delay our project a bit, so your mom can get your registered for school. She has to be at work at 8:00 AM on Monday. So better to do it today, vacation is over, Billy".
"Pops, what about the computer? Mom said I could get one."
"Right you are. Add it to the to do list. Maybe we could delay the pots and pans rack until we get Billy registered and his computer. What do you say, Annie?"
"Ok, but remember you owe me a pots & pans rack. Certainly, he should have his reward for being such a big help." Annie said from the kitchen.
"Now that we got the electric turned on, I guess I should go food shopping. I could do that while you guys are at the computer store."
"Good idea, Annie." Pops said, “Billy come over here and look at these on line.” Pops showed Billy on his computer, the on-line site of Micro Center. They had open box and refurbished as well as regular for-sale computers. Pops told Billy his computer was 5 years old and was a refurbished model. So, they can be very serviceable.
"Your computer is great, Pops. If we can save money getting the open box or refurbished, I'm all for it. Only thing, I think it would be better if I had a laptop."
"Ok, Laptop it will be, my boy."
Annie had lunch ready. She and Pops had to practically drag Billy to lunch which never happened. Pops said a teenage boy was an eating machine and if Billy wasn't coming to lunch he must be broken. Annie agreed and the two of them kind of tackled and tickled him; Pops had Billy in a head lock and Annie tickled his ribs until he agreed to come to lunch. Annie smiled as she looked on the old man, kind of beaten down by time and her young son with all the energy and enthusiasm that life could hold. She wished that Billy's father, Dan, could be here with them, but at the same time she knew Pops was the best stand-in grandpa that Billy could have. She knew tomorrow they would leave his house, and although less than a mile away; she knew she would miss his wisdom, strength and gentle ways. Billy got registered at Hopewell High School. On Monday morning, while Annie was starting her first day at work, he would be doing placement tests.
Pops and Billy went to the computer store and Annie to the super market. While at the computer store Pops signed Billy up for internet and basic TV. The technician would be out on Saturday morning to hook everything up. There was a promotion, so it was only $20.00 for each of the first 6 months. Billy hoped he could earn that by working for Mr. Ackers. The computer they decided on was an out of the box special. It was the latest model Acer with excellent memory and speed. Pops tested it in the store, got a certificate for a 1-year warrantee, and Billy had his computer as well as internet. They got to the apartment just as Annie was pulling up. Billy helped out with the packages. Pops said "Billy, with all your running up and down these stairs; you are gonna have legs with the strength of a horse."
"I hope so, Pops, I was thinking about going out for the wrestling team at school."
"That's a good sport for you Billy. You are a little lean but you are strong."
"At my old school the coach let me come in early so I could shower at school and not have to put up with the weirdoes at the shelter. There always was a bunch of jocks there in the weight room and they let me work out with them. It was fun. I hope, I can do the same here. Except now I won't have to worry about the weirdoes, with our own private shower."
Annie came over and hugged Billy, "I'm so sorry you had to cope with that, Billy. You should have told me."
"Mom, I'm sorry to say this but there are just some things a guy doesn't want to talk to his mom about. Especially guy stuff. Hey, you get embarrassed or upset or whatever with me coming to breakfast in my underwear."
"Ok, I'm sorry, I understand. I just feel badly that you had to cope with stuff like that all by yourself. If your dad was alive, he would have put a stop to those jerks in 2 seconds. Heck, if he was alive, we never would have been in the shelter in the first place. But it's gonna be all better now, with our own little place. I promise. And if you come to the breakfast table with a proper heavy towel wrapped around you, I'll tolerate that. Just those skimpy underwear you have leave nothing, and I mean nothing, to the imagination. Deal?"
"Deal, mom."
To be continued...
