Chapter 4
A Trip to Key West
For whatever reason, none of the lovers gave up his room to move in with their other half. Most nights there were two empty rooms in the house, but at other times, the lovers slept apart for their own reasons.
Six months passed quickly, and the four friends decided to take a short vacation together. They were sensitive to the fact that they had to keep the costs down. Some of them were not as well-heeled as others. They kicked two suggestions back and forth, Key West or Orlando. In the end, they chose Key West.
They searched the Key West gay yellow pages on the internet, and chose a likely resort based on two factors. The facility was clothing optional, and the pictures posted on their website looked beautiful. They booked two rooms for the first weekend in March. They would stay from Thursday to Sunday, so they only had to take off two days of work.
They left at the crack of dawn on Thursday morning. Darryl was the only one who owned a full size sedan so they took his car. They didn’t have much luggage, obviously.
They headed down I-95, merged onto US-I, and stopped somewhere south of Miami for breakfast. They were in high spirits, and their mood must have been infectious. Everyone in the diner was smiling. They arrived at their destination in mid-afternoon, parked in the parking lot, and didn’t drive the car again until they left for home.
Nude bathing was not something they lacked at home. In spite of that, they decided to kill the rest of the afternoon at the pool, before venturing out for dinner and to enjoy the nightlife in Key West. They carried the gay yellow pages with them like it was a bible, and they pretty much knew where they wanted to go, and the places they wanted to visit.
They swam for a short while, then sat down in lounge chairs for about forty-five minutes. They were all fair-haired and fair-skinned except Darryl. It was Rosie who first announced that he had enough sun and was going to his room to shower and dress for dinner. Bob and John followed him. Darryl had a darker complexion, and he decided to stay a little longer. The truth was, he was more than enjoying the eye candy, and he knew there would be more, much more, arriving the next day. After just a few minutes, however, he began to drift off. He and his housemates had gotten up very early that morning, and he was a bit sleep deprived.
He was awakened by a soft voice asking, “Is this lounge taken?”
Darryl opened his eyes. The body that went with the voice was pointing to the lounge chair Bob had recently vacated.
“Yes, it is,” Darryl answered. “It belongs to you.” They both laughed. Darryl examined the man. He was about five-eleven, brown hair, blue eyes, uncut, about four inches, and drop dead gorgeous. Darryl reckoned he was about forty-five.
The man held out his hand and Darryl shook it. “My name’s Harris,” he said. “That’s my given name in case you are wondering. It was my mother’s maiden name.”
“I’m Darryl.”
“Are you here alone?” Harris inquired.
“No, I’m here with three friends,” Darryl said, and did not elaborate further. He couldn’t understand what he was feeling. All he knew was that he didn’t want this stunning man to know that he was taken… yet.
“How about you? Are you here alone?”
“Unfortunately, yes. I was booked with my friend, but we split up last week. He has a new lover, and he had no desire to come down here with me. I should have cancelled, but I decided, what the hell, and here I am. I’m glad I came. There are a lot of hot guys here, including you.”
“Don’t make me blush,” Darryl giggled.
Harris began to rub sun block on his arms, legs and chest. “Can I ask you to do my back?” he asked Darryl in a rather seductive voice.
“It’ll be a pleasure. But you didn’t do your cock and balls either. Do you need help there?”
Harris smiled and handed Darryl the tube of sun block. “I can handle that myself, but maybe later, when the sun isn’t shining, you could handle it for me.”
Darryl found himself getting an erection, and didn’t try to hide it. Harris noticed and smiled at him.
“Are you busy tonight?” Darryl asked, and marveled at his boldness.
“I have no plans.”
“Would you like to join me and my friends for dinner? Afterwards we’re going bar hopping.”
“I’d like that a lot,” Harris said. “Thanks, I appreciate the offer. I was afraid I’d be lonely coming down by myself.”
“You didn’t have to worry. You’re too handsome to be alone for long, and your ex is a real jerk.” Harris didn’t answer, but he smiled broadly at Darryl. When he smiled, two dimples appeared in each cheek, and Darryl was smitten.
They absorbed the sun’s harmful rays for about another half hour, and both agreed that they had enough, and should get ready for dinner.
“I’ll pick you up when we leave. What’s your room number?” Darryl asked.
“Fourteen.”
“Shit. You’re right next door to me and my friend Bob. That’s convenient.”
They strolled back together and came to Harris’s room first. “Come in for a second,” Harris said.
He unlocked his door with the key hanging from a bracelet on his wrist. The moment they were both in the room, he closed the door and fell to his knees. He took Darryl’s hardened cock into his mouth and started to suck it slowly and sensuously. Darryl did nothing to resist. Notwithstanding the slow pace, he found himself ready to blow. He wanted to warn Harris, but he couldn’t speak, and he was certain that Harris knew the score all by himself.
“Wow, that was something else,” Darryl stammered. “Give me a second to breathe again.” Harris stood up and began to kiss Darryl. He passed some of Darryl’s spunk back to him. Darryl was too aroused to hesitate. He fell to his knees and gave Harris the same pleasure. Harris came, screaming so loudly, Darryl wondered if Bob could hear him in the next room like at home. He needn’t have been concerned. These walls were made of concrete.
The two men kissed passionately for a few minutes. Darryl pushed away, and said, “We better get ready for dinner. I’ll knock on your door when we are leaving, and Harris, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t mention this delicious encounter to my friends.”
Harris smiled. “One of them is your partner, right? You’re too good looking to be single.”
“You’re a regular Sherlock. He’s Bob, so you’ll know when you meet. By the way, Harris, where is home?”
“Ft. Lauderdale.”
“Me too. Victoria Park.”
“Not far, I live in Wilton Manors. Maybe we can see each other from time to time at home.”
They embraced, smiled, and Darryl left. When he entered his room, Bob was just getting out of the shower.
“Hurry up. We’re meeting the others in a half hour.”
“I’ll be ready in plenty of time. Hey honey, I met our next-door neighbor at the pool. His boyfriend just dumped him, and he’s very depressed, so I asked him to join us for dinner. I hope you don’t mind. I felt sorry for him.”
Bob shrugged his shoulders.
“If you dumped me, I wouldn’t be depressed. I’d just kill myself,” Darryl moaned.
Bob’s attitude softened. “Get all that chlorine washed off your beautiful body. Then I’ll kiss you good and proper. That last remark deserves more than kisses, but it will have to wait until later.”
Darryl wanted to feel guilty about his recent encounter with Harris, but he just didn’t.
