Chapter 22

Dad Tells All

When we arrived at the house, Justin went to change clothes and Mother was complaining, “Brian, go tell Tanner and Ricky that the house isn’t that dirty that they need to be dusting and vacuuming.”

“Mother, I’m sure they are doing what they’ve been expected to do at the places where they lived.  Let them do their thing and get it out of their systems.  What’s going to happen to Ricky, anyway?”

Dad had entered the kitchen while I was talking to Mother, “Brian, we don’t know yet.  I was just talking to David and there are problems.  Not only is Ricky not a naturalized citizen of the United States, it’s going to be very difficult for him to ever become a citizen because of his police record.”

I hit the counter so hard I hurt my fist, “Dad, that’s asinine.  He was only a young boy when he was picking people’s pockets so he could live.  I’m not saying what he did was right, but just because of all of the illegal immigrants that are in the country, people have a phobia against all immigrants.  Call Uncle Mickey and see what you can do for Ricky.”

Fortunately, or unfortunately, the discussion was stopped by the arrival of Timmy, “Daddy and Mommy, can we go get me some boots and things, so I can help the next time it snows?  I want to be able to help the big guys.”

Dad looked at Timmy, “Timmy, go get Tanner, Ricky and Justin and we’ll make sure you have the proper clothes, since they’re calling for more snow tomorrow.”

Timmy started to leave and turned, “But Daddy, how are we going to take Grandmother to church if it snows?”

Dad hugged Timmy, “Timmy, the weather people aren’t always that accurate.  We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see what‘s going to happen.  Please, go get the other guys.”

Mother nodded, “I’ll take Lauren and Morgan and get them some winter clothes.  They’ve grown out of the most of theirs.  This way I can control their spending.  The spaghetti sauce is already started.”

Timmy returned with the three guys and Tanner was complaining, “Dad, we don’t need any more clothes.  We can share what we have.”

Dad surprised me, “Look, this is our house, and I'm the oldest, so I’ll decide what needs to be done.  Get your butts into the van and stop complaining.”

Timmy giggled, “Daddy, I don’t have one of those things, so I’ll just stay here.”

“Look, Timothy James, if I kick you, you will realize that you do have one of those things, because you won’t be able to sit down.  Now get in the van.”

Dad took us to the Kohl’s that was near the house.  He sent the three older guys to find a jacket while he and I went to help Timmy.  Timmy was easy.  He was happy with the first things we found.  He looked at me, “Brian, do I got enough money to pay for all these things?”

Dad answered, “Son, you have enough money to buy these things, and you’ll have some left over.”

The picture changed drastically when we arrived at the men’s section and Dad checked to see what the guys had.  He examined what they had in their carts and exploded, “Look, you’d be frozen in no time on a really cold day, if this is what we bought.  We do get cold days around here, as you should know.”

By the time we left the store, the guys had thermal jackets that could be worn in layers, It was like three separate jackets that could be worn, depending on how cold it was.  They all had their own boots and thermal socks, plus they each had a stocking cap, thermal gloves and earmuffs.

When we left the store, I thought sure the police would come and arrest us for disturbing the peace because of the complaining that was going on.

When we arrived at the house, Will and Archie were there.  Will explained, “We were stopped in Grand Island and told that the roads further west were impassable and would probably be so for at least twenty four hours, so we decided to come back here.  Hope you don’t mind?”

Dad laughed, “I'm actually glad that you’re here.  You can make sure these sniveling people cut the tags off their clothes, so they won’t try to take them back to the store when I’m not looking.  I already ate the receipt.  I need to talk to Brian while the rest of you are busy.”

Dad took me to the office and shut the door, “Brian, please sit down.  I was told to tell you the story of Clayton C. Clayton, so I will.  Please don’t interrupt me, because it is going bring back a lot of painful memories for me.  Grandpa Nappy must have a reason for wanting you to know the story.”

Dad told me about what his Dad had done to him and then the Sven person.  He didn’t stop there; he told me about the professor trying to buy him to make him his boy.  When he told me the story of what had happened to him the night that he escaped, I almost upchucked.  He told me about Uncle Jeff finding him in the home and taking him home and how his life changed forever.”

I looked at Dad, “Dad, does Mother know all of these details?”

“No, son, the person who knows the most about my early life is Grandpa Jack.  Father Wanamaker and Doctor Crane know most of what happened, as did Grandma Tillison.  Your Uncle Jeff knew most of the details, but not all of them.”

“Dad, does Ben know about any of this?”

“No, your Mother and I thought it would be best to keep these details away from you children.”

“Dad, I’m totally confused as to why Grandpa Nappy thought I needed to know this?”

Both Dad and I froze, “Because, as the Chief Wizard, you need to be aware of the things that are happening to young men and women, so you can make their lives better.  You already have a good start, considering what you did for John, Robbie, and especially Timmy.  You have three other young men living with you that were saved from a life of denigration.  You need to hear your Mother’s story so you will devote equal time to the feminine sex.  Your job is take care of all children, regardless of sex, race or sexual orientation.”

I muttered, “But Grandpa Nappy, I’m only fifteen.  How much more can I do?”

The voice laughed, “You’re doing fine, most evil Chief Wizard.  I just want you to be aware of how big your responsibilities are, until we get Tanner and Timmy trained to the point where they can provide you some assistance.  Now hug your Dad.  He’s the only one you've got.”

Dad and I were standing there and we both had tears streaming down our faces when there was a knock on the door and it was definitely a Timmy knock.  Dad called out, “Come in, Timmy.”

“Daddy, how’d you know it was me?  Why are you both crying?  Did you have a fight?”

Dad picked Timmy up and hugged him, “Timmy, you’re the only person who doesn’t pound the door like you think we’re deaf.  We’re crying because we love our family, and no, we didn’t have a fight.  What did you need?”

“I came to see if Brian wanted to go with Tanner and me to take Grandmother her spaghetti and meat balls.”

I shook my head no, “Timmy, why don’t you take Tanner and Ricky, since Grandmother hasn’t met Ricky yet.  That would make her forget that she’s eating and she’ll eat everything in sight if there’s someone new there.”

“Good thinking, Brian.”

Dad and I walked into the kitchen and Archie and Will were helping Mother.  Dad asked, “Where are Lauren and Morgan?  Why aren’t they helping.”

Mother looked at Dad, “Beau, you know as well as I do, that neither of the girls think it’s their place to cook.”

Dad tensed, “Then they will do the dishes.  We’re not their servants.  This blows my mind that they would be this way, especially when we have company here.  I want everyone to act like slobs tonight, so they have a mess to clean up when they do the dishes.  Don’t pre-wash any of the pots and pans.  It’s time they learned what it’s like to do some work.  After all, Tanner and Ricky cleaned the house so well that I am almost afraid to touch anything.”

When the guys returned from Grandmother’s, Timmy announced, “Grandmother ate everything.  She wants us to pick her up for the eleven o’clock service, and she doesn’t want to go to the club for lunch.  She said, she would like to go have a light lunch at Village Inn or someplace like that.”

Ricky was laughing, “That’s not what she said at all.  After Timmy said that he was tired of going to the club, she suggested that we go wherever he would like to go.”

Timmy threw up his hands, “Okay, I’m guilty.  We have coupons so we can get two for one specials at the Village Inn, so we don’t have to spend so much money.”

Dinner went fine, but I was sure that Armageddon was going to hit when Dad announced as we were finishing eating, “Let’s adjourn to the living room while Lauren and Morgan take care of the cleanup.”

I think Dad and Mother were as surprised as I was when neither Lauren or Morgan complained at all. The other guys looked at me and I motioned toward the living room.

When we were in the living room, Dad looked at the assembled group, “We’re teaching our two daughters a lesson.  They have done nothing, today.  Everyone else around here has worked hard.”

Timmy went to Dad, “Daddy, can I ask Ron to bring Randy over here tonight while Ron and Tanner go to a movie or something.”

Tanner shook his head, “Timmy, I didn’t know we were going to the movie.”

Timmy wasn’t backtracking, “Call Ron and tell him there’s some dumb movie you want to see.”

Justin frowned, “Timmy, I didn’t think you liked Randy.  Why would you invite him here?”

“I’m going to teach the spoiled brat how to be nice.  Daddy and Mother, you'd better have some bandages ready when I beat him up.”

Tanner called Ron and sure enough, the brat was going to spend the evening with Timmy.  Ricky called a female friend from school and they were going to accompany Tanner and Ron.  Both Justin and I deferred.   I figured that I needed to be there to monitor the activity between and Timmy and Randy.

Before I went to bed that night, I had four more very interesting paintings to send Mr. Johnson and Kelly.  The first was one of a curled up Justin that was titled, Don’t  Beat  Me, Again.  It showed the welts and bruise marks that still persisted on Justin’s body.

The next painting was totally unplanned.  After I had finished the painting of Justin, I was carrying my supplies to my room when I saw Timmy and Randy tussling in the living room.  I yelled, “You two freeze, and I mean now!”

The painting turned out to be great, even if I do say so myself.  Timmy had his hand cocked to hit Randy in the face.  I entitled the painting, The War.  The absolute beauty of the war was the next painting was of Timmy and Randy with their arms around each other as they were going to get a snack.  I titled it Truce.

After Ron and the guys arrived home and Ron and Randy had departed.  Timmy and  I went to get ready for bed.  I heard Will and Archie in their bedroom.  I knocked, “Gentlemen, since I’m your boss, I would like for you to pose for me.”

I was unaware that Timmy had followed me into the room, “Brian, you can’t call them kissing The First Kiss because that’s what you called the painting of Tanner and Ron.  Why don’t you call it Old Love?”

Will sat up, “Timothy, who are you calling old?”

“Gentlemen, strip.  Both Timmy and I have seen men before, so we’re not going to be surprised.  I promise that I won’t embarrass you. Timmy, how about we call the painting True Love?

I was surprised that Will and Archie complied with my request so easily.  They were magnificent specimens of manhood.  Timmy commented, “Brian, it’s going to be hard to hide their penises.  They’re so big.”

I posed the two of them and did the best I could, so I would only show their profiles but it was still evident that they were very well endowed and very much in love.  Timmy had been watching me paint and not saying a word, until he suddenly jumped up and announced, “Brian, I’m really tired; I need to go to bed.”

I had all the basics done and it was going to be a spectacular painting,  “We’re going to leave the two of you alone so you can get on with your business.  We’ve had our showers,  We’ll see you in the morning.”

When Timmy and I arrived in the bedroom, Ricky was sitting talking to Tanner.  I sat down beside him, “Ricky, is there a problem?”

Ricky started to talk in Spanish, “Brian, I just saw the marks on Justin’s body for the first time.”

Timmy, who had crawled into bed, sat up, “Brian, make Ricky talk so I can understand what he’s saying.  I know he’s talking about Justin, but what’s he saying?  Did Justin hurt Ricky?”

Ricky shook his head no, “Timmy, Justin didn’t hurt me.  I keep forgetting that not everyone speaks Spanish.  Sometimes I have to be reminded to talk in English.  You’ll have to kick me if I sometimes start to talk Spanish.”

Timmy had laid back down, “Don’t worry, I’ll pinch you if you start talking so I can’t understand what you saying.”

I kissed Timmy, “We’re going to go get a cup of hot chocolate to help us sleep.  Ricky said he needs something to help him sleep.”

“Okay.”

I turned off all of the lights except for the one on the night stand after putting on some sweat clothes.  I went to the family room to get Justin.  He was already in a sweat outfit.  When he saw me, he took a big breath, “Brian, I screwed up.  Is that why you’re here?”

“Justin, how did you screw up?  I came to see if you would come and talk to us in the kitchen.”

Justin took a deep breath, “After you had me pose, I went to try wash the areas where that man touched me.  I got my briefs wet and took them off and was remembering what happened when you kissed me.  I started to play with my equipment to see if I was always going to lose control as fast as I did this afternoon.”

“Okay, so you were jacking off.  Were you able to prolong your pleasure?”

“Yes, but it was probably because it was less than twelve hours ago that I shot my wad and I hadn’t had time to fully recharge.”

“Justin, if that’s all that happened, then how did you screw up?”

“When I came out of the bathroom I was totally naked.  Ricky was standing there and he saw what the man did to me.  He started to ask me all sorts of questions and I wasn’t very cooperative, and I think he’s upset because I wouldn’t tell him what happened.”

“Justin, Tanner and Ricky are waiting in the kitchen for us.  I came to get you so that there aren’t any mysteries about why everyone is here.  You are right in that Ricky is concerned, but not because you wouldn’t tell him what happened to you.  That’s not to say he probably isn’t curious.  He’s concerned that it even happened.  Come talk to us.”

To be continued...

Editor's Notes:  Well, it seems that I was right.  Justin is really a good person.  He was only doing what he had to do, to survive, while he was with that terrible person.

Now Brian knows all about Beau's early years.  I am sure that it was very difficult for Beau to have to bring that out again, even for him to think about it, but I agree with Grandpa Nappy; it was something that Brian really needed to know.

I guess we will just have to wait for the next chapter to find out what will happen next.
