Chapter 41
Two More Multi Millionaires
Friday morning Beau came in and said, “Dad, Jeff, I don’t feel well. I think I’m going to throw up from the smell in here?”
“What smell? Jeff asked.
Beau reached down and hit our penises and shouted from the door, “Dead wood.”
Jeff started to laugh and said, “I wonder how long he has been planning that?”
We showered and a cup of coffee and a glass of juice appeared on the vanity.
Beau was organizing everyone for the day. Uncle Lyle and Grandma Ginny were going to sub for him in the afternoon at Gigi’s, while he and Rea and Aunt Evelyn went shopping for groceries.
The three of them were fixing dinner when everyone started to arrive. Beau sent Tommy to retrieve the people at Gigi’s house and Jeff came in with Danny. Everyone was working away when the guests started to arrive. Mr. Carstairs was the last person to arrive.
Everyone was enjoying a drink when Beau came in and announced, “Dinner is being served in the dining room. Jeff escorted Mrs. T., Jason escorted Grandma Ginny, Beau escorted Mrs. Davis and Danny escorted Aunt Evelyn.
When everyone was seated, Beau, Danny and Tommy served the soup and then we had a nice Jello aspic salad with rolls and finally an entrée of crab cakes and clams with oven French fries and sautéed spinach with almonds and a butter sauce. For dessert, Beau had fixed piece of warm gingerbread with whipped cream.
Mr. Carstairs asked for a cup of coffee and started to sip it and said, “I have some checks for you two gentlemen. He handed an envelope to Beau and one to Adam. “If you find any more art works, I’ll be here on short notice if you eat like this all the time.”
Beau said, “Mr. Carstairs, you were lucky. This is first night we have had any real food in two weeks. It sure is nice not to have to eat dog food for a change. Jeff and Jason my men, sorry to eat and run. Sir Thomas and I have sitting jobs, so you get to take care of the dishes. Adam and Aaron are due at Uncle Barry’s house. Thanks for coming everyone. Grandma Davis, we’ll see you in the morning.” He hugged and kissed everyone as he left.
Mr. Carstairs asked, “Is he
always like this?”
Jeff said, “What you see is what you get. You should be here in the morning. He probably won’t talk or eat because he’s so nervous.”
Mrs. Davis asked, “You mean he doesn’t want to sing at the funeral?”
“No Grandma, he wants to sing for Granddad Davis, but he wants it to be perfect. He can’t accept if he doesn’t do everything to the best of his ability. I am sure that he will make Granddad Davis’ funeral one that will be remembered for a very long time.” Jeff assured her.
Jeff, Jason and Danny cleared the table and Mr. Carstairs thanked everyone and excused himself saying he had two appointments in the morning.
Mrs. Davis said, “I need to be going too. I really need to make sure everything is ready for the morning. I am so glad we decided against a viewing. I don’t think I could have handled it by myself.”
Mrs. T. asked, “Lucy, could you drop me off? That way I don’t have to drag Jeff and Jack out.”
The two ladies left and everyone was listening to the three guys when the phone rang. Jason answered, “D. Dad, may I spend the night with Davey?”
“What about Danny?” I asked.
Danny spoke up and said, “Sir, let him go. He is only going to be young once, and besides I have all of you wonderful people around me.”
“Okay, but you have to be here no later than 08:30 in the morning so we can go to the funeral and help take care of our guests.” I frowned.
“Yes sir. Davey, I’ll be there as soon as I pack my gear.” Jason said.
Danny seemed to fit right in. He already knew these people from last weekend, so he wasn’t intimidated. He asked, “Doctor Wilson, may I go watch a video in your bedroom? It is so nice not to have to be around some twenty plus teenagers who complain all the time.”
Jeff said, “Danny, why don’t you take a shower or a bath in Dad’s bedroom and then curl up on the bed and watch whatever you want?”
After a nice evening visiting, everyone started to disappear and finally only Jeff and I were alone. Jeff and I sat on the sofa and I was holding him when the door opened and Beau came in. “Oh no! I can’t leave home for four hours and you two are at it. What did you do drug everyone else?” Beau tormented.
“No, we got rid of them like we are going to get rid of you.” Jeff got up and acted like a wolf.
Beau said, “Too bad you don’t have any teeth.” He plopped down beside us and asked, “Dad, do you have a safe to put this check in?”
I took Beau and Jeff into the pantry and showed them the safe which was behind a bag of dog food. I showed them the combination.
Beau started to laugh. “Now I should have figured that out.07-01-67.”
Jeff looked funny and asked, “Why would you have guessed that?”
“Jeff honey, when was your Daddy born?” Beau laughed.
Jeff started to laugh and then asked, “Why would he put the safe behind a bag of dog food?”
“Because he treats us like dogs. I’m surprised he doesn’t make us use a kitty litter box.” Beau was laughing so hard that he doubled over.
I grabbed Beau and put him over my shoulder and said, “Come on Jeff, we’re going to stuff this monster into a garbage can and weld it shut.”
“I’ll be good. I’ll be good.” laughed Beau.
I put him down. Just then Tommy came in and asked, “What’s going on?”
“Oh Dad and Jeff were going to seal me into a garbage can but they burned their hands trying to light the welding torch. They even singed the hair around their you know what’s.” Beau was laughing hard again.
I picked him up and took him to the stairs and said, “I'm restraining you for the night.” Beau looked at me and kissed me and took off up the stairs. He immediately came back down and asked, “Are Danny and I sleeping with you or what? He is sound asleep on your bed.”
“Beau, go take a shower and we’ll be quiet when we come to bed and we will even wear briefs.” Jeff said.
Beau went back to the stairs and said, “Shucks and I wanted to show you off to Danny.” He disappeared up the stairs.
Tommy sat down and said, “Dad and Jeff, I feel like I need to tell you something. Uncle Lyle asked me to make love to him the other night, and I did. I don’t feel the least bit of remorse about what I did, but I do feel guilty, because he can’t reciprocate. I’m almost sure that he is waiting for me now to do it again. Is this all wrong?”
Jeff held Tommy and said, “Tommy, as long as no one is hurt, it is no one else’s business. Uncle Lyle loves you very much. He sees you as both his lover and grandson at the same time. Let your conscience be your guide. Dad and I are not experts in this area.”
Tommy went up the steps and went to bed. Jeff and I took a quick shower and crawled into bed in our shorts.
To be continued...
Editor's Notes:
Goodness gracious me. Let's see, it is really nice to see how level headed everyone is.
